Gallery was OK ,although the current exhibits weren't that exciting , would have given it 3 stars but my visit was overshadowed by the woman who came out of the cloakroom and followed me and my 7 year old son around the 3 floors of the exhibition space. Wasn't a relaxing environment to enjoy the art ! Each room has a CCTV camera so presumably she could have used that to stalk us !?

The card reader didn't work and a lot of the people working there (except a younger lady) were quite rude. They didn't greet us or acknowledge us when entering, they simply put the receipt on the front desk to demonstrate to us how much we should pay. The people working there also followed us around the museum while talking to each other, which was very unpleasant. The art was okay, with four different exhibitions. Worth a visit, but one shouldn't go out of their way to visit this museum. Please note that the elevator was not working: the museum is not accessible for people with a physical disability.

Beautiful museum with a fantastic collection of contemporary art. Until January 2022 there is the work of Giacomo Verde, pioneer of videoart. Here some photos by Valentino Albini for the exhibition.

The exhibition in the ground floor was very disturbing to us. Not only were there too many loud speakers, but also the art was hard to interpret. The other floors were way better.

Ok museum. Though doesn’t really contain much “modern” art since it more so abstract Art. Probably more suitable to actual artist rather than mainstream audience.

Grest exhibiton for a small town like La Spezia. Keep up the good work!

Worth a visit if you have nothing to do, but not extensive and could imho be more challenging.
