I guess the birches and the well in the middle of the restaurant are a part of the appearance of the franchise. For me, however, they were a bit much. Other than that, it is a nice place to have dinner. The atmosphere is pleasant and cosy. Food is tasty, yet sometimes underseasoned. The salad garnish to the burger is lovely, though! Prices are OK and overall the place offers good value for money.

Amazing place! First time I tried it. The fried sweet potatoes were one of the best things I have tried. I took a hamburger with chicken, vegetables and garlic sauce. All of it really tasty and soft. Not greasy or salty. The lemonade had a bit too much sugar for me, but really taste with mango and ginger. 100% recommended. I come from Belgium were there is no, and I would love it to be there to go for those fried sweet potatoes again from time to time. Good price. (About 17€ per person with the potatoes and the drink).

Delicious burgers and cozy atmosphere! Outside seating here, too. Service is quick and there’s seasonal menu and specials if you feel like experimenting. :)

I won't lie if I say... THE BEST BURGERS IN DÜSSELDORF!!! Delicious sauces, especially orange mustard. The interior with birch trees is amazing!! I will go there when I'm in Düsseldorf!!

This is really only for ex pats. The hamburger has the taste of a wimpy bar from the 1970s. A distinct flavour of mystery meat That's actually a good thing if you like it! But if you are looking for an authentic hamburger definitely not. The young waitress slap the food on a table in a most functional way. She did not look like she was enjoying her job. The guy making cocktails behind the bar knew what he was doing and was most helpful. However if you're after a burger, I think you're just in the wrong country.

Stumbled across this place on my day trip to Dusseldorf. It was a lovely surprise :) the waitress was so friendly and the service was very quick (on a Friday around 13:30). The food was delicious and filling and the sweet potato fries were so fresh!! Ah man... I would definitely visit again!

Updated: Since the lockdown the quality has dramatically decreased. I would avoid it at it's current state. Very good burgers and fries. The salad was pretty tasty too. Service was nice and very quick for the amount of people seated outside. The only bad thing was the digital menu which did not work on my phone so I had to use my sister's.

Order the burger without bun. They give me a lot of salad on top and it feels like I got a side dish of salad. The burger itself taste good as well. Worth for a try.

Hans im Glück is a solid burger spot with good food and a pleasant overall experience. The burgers are tasty and well made and the sweet potato fries are especially good and worth ordering. The restaurant itself is nice spacious and very clean which makes it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. It is a little bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food and the atmosphere help justify the cost. Overall Hans im Glück is a good choice if you are in the mood for burgers in a clean modern and relaxed setting.

It has been great to enjoy the glutenfree burgers and fries (three times!) this week. I would be happy to come again whenever glutenfree options are available again!

Nothing to say… If you find an insect that size in your drink, you can only imagine how clean the place is...

Overall a wonderful experience with new varieties on food combinations. Delish and certainly to refer were the french fries with goat chesse and lingenberries! The out side seating was a bit uncomfortable bc there weren't any cushions on the benches. Otherwise please check it out you will love it.

Really enjoyed the burger here. They also have gluten-free options which is amazing. Unfortunately it is not 100% celiac-friendly.

Waited about 2:15h and they canceled last minute. Ordered once a week before, but now im looking for another restaurant.
