We stayed for a night here and it was very memorable one. It's located on one of the narrow lanes and romantic ones of Galle Fort. The host is very nice and simple down to earth person. We were lucky we got the room on the top and with beautiful views from our room itself. Our room was a small but cosy one. The climbing to the top through the winding spiral steps. There is a nice common area sit out . We made green tea with the water kettle , it was so good .... tea bags and the sugar and cutlery provided in the common area. Our room also had a small refrigerator which is mighty useful. Went to the beach which is close by, to view the morning sunrise and a swim . The hotel is surrounded by all kinds of shops, restaurants, jewelry shops, so the location is top class. Wish we had time to be there for another day at least.

I have booked a triple room and stayed at the property from 27th to 28th of December 2023. The manager Azeem was super helpful and the room was also clean and comfy. It has the facility of AC and hot water shower as well. I can recommend this place as worth for money and it was a wonderful stay I had at that place.

The location is good and convenient as it is inside the Galle fort. It has a nice view and relaxing environment. The rooms and toilet were good. There were also some problems. For example, the A.C didnt work in one of the rooms and the stairs are very narrow which is problematic for old people. They also don't serve food which was a bummer.There was a good WiFi connection and tea making station.The hosts were kind and helpful. Overall, it was a decent experience and its good for a short stay but it had some flaws which might cause some people to reconsider their options.

Overall: A very beautiful place to stay especially if you are keen on the heritage buildings. Galle Fort, being a UNESCO world heritage site. This place has been renovated based on the standards given by UNESCO. The place was quiet and can be easily accessible to the Galle beach. Rooms: Rooms were cute cosy one with clean beds and a super lit bath. Host: The place is run by a nice family. They were friendly and caring.

The hotel was well located more or less in the centre of Galle Forte. The room was clean and we had all we needed. The owners were pleasant and carried our bags up to the room and gave us a bottle of water on our arrival. The pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable. The walls of our room were paper thin and you could hear the guests next door. Fortunately, after 11.00pm, during our three night stay, the other guests were quiet. Our room was at the top of the hotel in the attic which was reached by a steep spiral staircase which my wife found a little tricky to negotiate.

Great for 2 couples to get the 2 sea view rooms at the top floor with the freely available common area with ample amneties. Parking available. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended for a stay inside the fort with the intention to walk around.

It was overall Good location if you dont want to move much. Located inside the fort and can feel the dutch vibe in the fort streets within minute of walk. Had a breath taking sunset view at the shared terrace where you can sit and have a cup of tea

Great basic little place in an amazing location right in Galle fort. The owners were so nice, lovely to chat to. The rooms were small but did the job, clean and cosy. Owners even helped us get to our next destination for a very fair price.

Very nice host! The shower could be better. The host offered a ride to the Galle railway station and provided us information about the train to Colombo. Hotel was located in the old city but with quiet environment. Many breakfast options nearby. Will recommend & come back for sure!!

We booked the entire rooms for a 1 night stay with Southern Comforts and made an advanced payment, and unfortunately we couldn't make it due to a medical emergency. We informed about it and they refunded the full advance amount without any hesitation. Good customer handling and cooperation. Definitely will consider them in our future trips. 👍👍👍

I would highly recommend this guest house which felt very homely and also modest. The hosts were very welcoming and helped us in all aspects. The view from the terrace was really amazing with the beautiful sun set. The place was clean and the location was super close to all the main venues. Had a great stay.
