My wife and I decided to explore the Angel Beach day out package, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. We arrived at 10:00 am and dove into the serene pool, enjoying a relaxing swim before indulging in a sumptuous lunch. The lunch buffet was a true highlight, offering a diverse and delicious array of dishes that we savored. The starters were particularly impressive, showcasing a variety of enticing choices. What added to the ambiance was the subtle yet pleasant background music that enhanced the overall experience. The coziness of the place further amplified our enjoyment, making it a perfect setting for a day out. We were especially pleased to discover that on weekends, they offer a special lunch buffet, which was an added bonus to an already fantastic experience. Overall, our day at Angel Beach was truly enjoyable, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and fulfilling day out.

A few of us visited for lunch and a few drinks on a Sunday in June 2022. I found it to be a cool place to eat and hang out for an afternoon. Comfortable seating at both tables and large daybeds. Great pool. Food and drinks were good and there was a nice atmosphere too. Lots of staff on duty but speed of service was definitely a little hit and miss!! Friendly staff .... but just a bit slow! All in all though I really enjoyed my time there.

We went to grab lunch here, and this place is super overpriced. It's packed with foreigner, more than locals and most of their dishes are not very flavourful. Their butter chicken and naan is very good, pizzas are also nice. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend anything else on the menu. Their cocktails seem decent. I took one for the team by ordering a basil drink, please stay the hell away from it. It tastes like an Ayurvedic medicinal potion. Service and the atmosphere was really good.

I really liked this place. The service is really really good. Even though the prices for cocktails are way above average the price for simple mixed drinks is affordable. And food was very good. They have a much different menu than what is online which I heard might be because they have a new chef. All portions of food were huge. The pepperoni pizza was good. Beef pepperoni so not exactly like normal but was thick cut and plentiful. I got the tuna salad which looked small but was super filling and fresh. Would definitely recommend coming here for the day and lounging by the pool and enjoying the amenities.

This place has an excellent ambience. Just by the beach with an angel theme surrounding you. Well a little difficult to explain but an excellent ambience next to their private beach. The drinks (Cocktails) were good however their starters and main course was just about average. The Chicken pizza would need a magnifying glass to find the chicken. Overall not so bad due to it's ambience, the best part was an excellent DJ who was churning out some excellent music that would keep you grooving. Excellent place to go but stick to the drinks, avoid the food which is better in the nearby restaurants (Hotels).

The place absolutely gives instagram-worthy images! On weekends, it is a bit crowded with both locals and foreigners. It has a good vibe and there was a band playing as well. The food tastes good with ample portion sizes. The order takes long to deliver. However, the prices are more than average prices. Parking space is available and value for money is good.

Great for a funky chill-out holiday vibe and a stunning, almost empty golden beach. We got the day pass, to use the pool and loungers, and had a fantastic few hours here. Food, drinks, cocktails, and some magical moments crashing in the surf with that crystal clear Indian Ocean water. They have showers and changing facilities poolside, so you can sort yourself out before and after the beach or pool. The swing bench, suspended from a super tall palm tree, also adds to the fun!

The best place in downsouth Such an amazing vibe. Food was sooo delicious and drinks cocktails also. Easy access to beach with nice and peaceful place. Perfect for couples,family or a group of friends. There are some specific spots to click nice photos. Everything was perfect ♥️

This is a really amazing place to make memories for the rest of the life. The atmosphere is so comfy. And the staff also very friendly. Food also amazing and with all these things music is unbelievable. Mr. Pasan (the percussionist) is doing his best to entertain us. Wish you'll the best of luck. 🖤❤️

If you are a local, your intension is to have a quick meal, do yourself a favor. DO NOT VISIT THERE. Go somewhere else. They really do not care you are there. We waited for 15 minutes for menu. Another 30 minutes for someone to get our order. Guess what? No one took our order even we specifically asked some people to come and get our order. Either they are doing their own stuff or chit chatting with foreigners. Wasted about an hour and left with empty stomachs. I wanted to talk to the reception guy and he was pretending so busy with a call.

Good place to hang out with. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. More like a place to hang out with friends and couples. Lots of people come to just dine, swim, and enjoy the place. Not that much of a kid friendly. Service is very good though.

If you are looking for a place to get some beautiful Instagram-worthy pictures of you and your family or friends, go for it. But if you are after exceptional food, choose another place. Even though their menu is four pages long, there are only six main meals. Since it's a 5-star rated hotel, my expectations were a bit higher. IMO, the place is packed with stuff and the overall area of the hotel is too small for it to be recognized as a 5-star hotel. It may look beautiful for photos, but with their service, restaurant arrangement, and food quality, you won't feel the luxurious vibe that suits the 5-star rating. And the dishes I tried were good and not that great.

The customer service was amazing. Went with a group of friends and has a great time. Food was very good and rooms were clean & Comfortable. Sadly the weather was a little stormy while I was there, but did have a brief opportunity to jump in the ocean! Definitely worth the trip.

It is a very good palace for get a rest. Customer care also very good. Delicious foods and drinks available. Dj music, beach , pood and very good arrangements for customers. This is my 1st time been here. I think best place for get rest in this area.

Amazing place on the southern coast. Lots of good vibes and pleasant atmosphere. Specially the concept of the club and staff service is next level. Really amazing restaurant, DJ , pool and location. The music and the vibe is spectacular. The food is very nice. Prices are towards the high end but the quality level is very high. There are options to book sun recliners/beds for different size groups, book the pool separately, restaurant only or check in to rooms as guests. There are different locations in the restaurant itself, pool area, AC area, close to sea, bar stools, beach are sitting and also a buffet and table sitting. The vibe and live music is amazing and the service is superb.

Came for a nice lunch and great atmosphere. Viraj was the one serving us. Super friendly and kind. Helped us pick some dishes. Food and drinks came very fast. Prices aren’t bad for the quality and atmosphere offered. Perfect for couples and families. Would come again!

Superb location to spend your time in relaxing and calm way. its so relaxing as its next to the beach. Has a good vibe and very peaceful. You can enjoy the DJ in weekends and have a dance with your friends family and partner. Also you can have a good bath in the pool. But not satisfied with the food that much had some cocktails and fresh juice not to the standard and what we expected. Something to improved on food. Staff is really cool.

We have been frequently visiting Angel beach for the best service, delicious food and the location. The staff is out standing and they provide a exceptional service. We enjoy our time always at Angel beach hotel. Special thanks to Delshan from front office for making us feel special and provide warming welcome, The entire f&b and house keeping staff. It’s always a go to place for us and they never fail to amaze us with the service and quality. If it’s Unawatuna, then it’s always Angel Beach for us !!

Absolutely awesome hotel and venue. Located right on the beach, surrounded by Palm Trees and waves. Such a cool venue and the staff are super attentive and friendly. The DJ plays on the weekends and it's a great vibe. Loved our time. Delshan the manager is super helpful and a very good host.

We stayed at Angel beach for 01 night. We really enjoyed this hotel, right on the beach. Great staff, especially Ms. Chapa at the front office and shout out to the rest of the staff who were super helpful. The hotel is situated on a beach. We specially fell in love with their certain wall designs and decorations and rooms were clean and comfortable. But we enjoyed being more among the restaurant especially at night with music.The food was amazing. All together we had a great time and would recommend to others and would definitely return. thank you!

Incompetent and rude staff, to respond customer issues. Specially for local customers. Do not know how to respond professionally instead try to condemn the customers. Were not able to communicate properly, the "Day package and its conditions" making confusions leading to unpleasant experience by the staff. I have spoke to 3 staff members, and not the first two had a clue about what to tell, except trying to tell "angel beach doesn't care, its our management, you have to obey what we say. And food is also not upto the standard like it was few months back.

Angel Beach is an amazing place to hangout, chill & relax with friends & family ❤️! The vibe of this place is unreal 🤩! The live music, the pool, the aesthetics; all of this adds to a wonderful, tropical vibe 🌴! Also, the place is highly photogenic & I guarantee that the photos you'll get out of the place is definitely Instaworthy 🧡! My friends & myself had an Inferno Pizza & it was scrumptious 😋🍕! The pineapple juice was also delightful 🍍! The staff of the hotel were extremely helpful & friendly too ❤️! The prices of the food & beverages were also fair imo 🔥! Overall, Angel Beach is a must-visit place you need to add to your travel wishlist if you are planning to come to Galle 😁!

Very nice place to spend a day. Lovely views of the beach and plenty of space to sit, both indoors and outdoors. Could use the pool also if necessary. Food was okay. Could take some time to get the food delivered if there is a crowd. So order food as soon as you get there. Overall 9/10 experience. Would recommend.

Great place to chill and have a nice meal and drink. Comes highly recommended and food is great too. Nice place for youngsters to chill and enjoy the beach and some music.

Lunched at Angel Beach ! Amazing food (taste, quality, quantity and presentation). Service was fantastic. Special mention of Nirmala for taking good care of us. Loved loved the ambience and the amazing vibe. Looking forward to revisiting the weekend parties.

Nice Beachclub directly at the beach with good drinks for a quite high price. Food is okay but also too expensive for portion and quality you get. Service is really bad and most of the employees are really rude. We've been there several times because it was just besides our hotel but it was not getting better.

Nice place for chilling. The food were superb except the japanese rice we ordered (was okay and edible). The location were bit crowded at the time we visited. Prices are quite high than the average. Can recommend.

Nice haven, friendly staff, quality in service, food, drinks. Great getaway with kids, to relax, or to be social, have a party. Good pool (pool bar sadly not functioning now), nice beach, great sunbeds, cabanas). Good price/value ratio.

the setting of this place is really nice, the food was good quality and tasty (once they got the order right) only downfall was the customer service. i had to keep havng to go the bar to order drinks as we wasn't having anyone come to take orders, the man makinging the drinks was rude, drinks took on average 30min to come. early evening the waiters changed and the service was better. but still the attitude of staff in the day ruined it. staff training is definitely needed.

The place was excellent. The service was extraordinary. The rooms were neat and clean with all the necessary amenities. Pool is open till late night. Sheesha and drinks can also be served at the pool. The hospitality was amazing. Would definitely visit here again.

Not satisfied with the quality and quantity both about the food. Not worth the money we paid. Since no outside cake allowed we had to get a cake from them for 2,500/= which had good icing and bad cake. We went there on 2021-12-05 with 8 people. Good supportive staff and location even though the food is bad.
