A historic and emblematic structure of industrial development and commerce in the Jura region, the Pont du Moulin des Pierres (Stone Mill Bridge) is also a remarkable natural site to admire from its 40-meter height, as well as from the viewpoint located near the bridge. Here, the Valserine River has carved deep gorges where tenacious vegetation climbs the high rock faces that frame the valley. The bridge's audacious construction offers a unique perspective on the Pont des Pierres Regional Nature Reserve. From the Pont des Pierres parking area , cross the bridge and join the path marked by barriers on the other side of the D14A. After a gentle 250-meter climb, cross the road again and descend 50 meters to find a stony path on the right leading to a viewpoint. The return journey follows the same route. Along this walk, you will find three interpretive panels:

Très joli petit pont qui surplombe la Saine juste avant la cascade. Un panneau explicatif vous explique qu'une scierie se tenait initialement sur la rivière.
