Update: because nobody here would get my dad the neurology referral he needed, my dad is now dead. So thanks for that. I would have written you in mychart so it'd be more private, but because he's DEAD there's no longer a mychart account for him. I had two argue with two providers at transitional care about him declining. He got to the hospital and none of the providers could believe he hadn't been considered emergent. And in less than a week hr was DEAD. so thanks again. I'll be sure never to step foot into a providence clinic for the rest of my life because I prefer being alive.... Great place to go if you want a provider that doesn't care about you and you don't want to get any choices or say so in your health management. My father sees an ARNP here, and has for years. My dad is presently in a rehab facility and his pcp here refuses to put in a neurology referral to uwmc/hmc that he has requested, because she said she's not his pcp if he's at rehab. My pcp said that's not actually a rule and your provider made it up. I requested to speak with your clinic manager and have been ignored (you won't set it up as I requested). Your policies, or pretend policies are causing a great delay in patient requested care. While you are correct that day to day pcp is to be managed by the facility, you are incorrect in saying that you cannot put in referrals for specialists.

I was 5 minutes late to an appt. with a Nurse Practitioner (no doctors available) and was told by an uncaring at the counter that I'd have to reschedule for another day because I was 10 minutes late. No one had been at the reception counter when I first came in, and I had to open a door and call to someone to come. When she finally appeared, she said she hadn't left the counter and kept insisting I had been very late. Very annoying.

Overall, this is the best clinic and doctors my wife and I have ever gone to. We have been going here for almost as long as it's been open. We had the same doctor for about 5 years before she left for Urgent Care. And boy did we absolutely love her. Well, we got 2 more docs that are just as good and compassionate. As long as we live here, and as long as we have insurance they accept, we will always go to this clinic. The funny thing is we live in downtown Oly and gladly keep driving out to Hawks Prairie to this clinic just for the doctor's who arat he sometimes so empathetic that they seem too good to be true. I mean, harm reduction is very much practiced here, and it is that heightened level of compassion that keeps us coming back no matter what our medical circumstances are. C'mon out to Providence Hawks Prairie Family Medicine if you want that consistent welcome to the family vibe with a new school twist! Oh...and the new-ish Urgent Care downstairs is just another plus because they are never really that busy and they always seem to love working there which is a nice change from most swing shift, weekend warriors! Deuces!

What's going on with the front desk staff? It's extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone without a 15-20 minute wait. Especially during the hours that aren't supposed to be busy. When arriving for an appointment, they'll let me stand there for sometimes over 5 minutes without even acknowledging me. This is not just once or twice. It's a pattern. If you need to cancel an appointment, you'll need to do it the day before because you're likely not going to get in touch with anyone before that and MyChart won't allow you cancel or reschedule after that point. They'll just mark you as a "no show" even though you've been on hold for an hour. Once and if you can get past the front desk staff and appointment scheduling, the providers are great. I love the lab ladies. Everyone always seems to be in a good mood when I've been there. They get rid of any bad apples quickly I've noticed because I've had a really bad experience there with my son and they were very sympathetic and the nurse that did it is no longer there and a certain condescending front desk staff member.

Watch out for this place they will tell you to make sure you do not cancel or call days before you do or you can never go back. Sadly they canceled my appointment and never called one time to tell me though I know this for a fact. This is what is wrong with our country the fact we cannot get back to work because doctors do not have and integrity anymore. Thanks for making me wait 3 months to get help with no income. Great job providence wonder how many children get cancelled appointments too after waiting months. Good reviews are only long term patients before the epidemic horrible job.

Doctor was rude and seemed only to be focused on me leaving instead of getting a diagnosis. Diagnosis was done after one question, they knew almost none of my symptoms and seemed to not care. Will be seeing my doctor next week for a full examination and will consider suing for malpractice if the diagnosis was as off base as it felt.

I specifically chose this place since it's close to home and had previous care at the Urgent Care part of the building. Urgent Care gets an A++ from our entire family. The waits are short, the staff is kind, and they get you seen pretty quickly which is nice when you have small children with you. The times I've brought my son in, they've been extremely gentle with him and animated. This let's me know that they know how to switch their body language from adult patient to child patient. This mom greatly appreciates their efforts. I've now switched my PCM to also be within the building and part of the Province network. Dr Sullivan also gets an A++ from me. Im extremely picky and he really impressed me with the way he takes his time to listen to you without rushing you. He's engaged in the conversation and clearly shows that your health is his goal. We've only had Zoom appointments and I'm okay with that. I've come in for labs and ultrasounds without any issues. I've also seen NP Carrie Welty. She was very kind and gentle and also very engaging. Again, I did not feel rushed through my appointment at all. She too gets an A++. I come from the Tricare world where you feel like you're on an assembly line and very rarely do you get a doctor who seems to care. I switched insurance and couldn't be happier with my new level of care here.

Was referred to this clinic by immediate care. Waited approximately 3 months for an appointment to get established. Less than a week from the appointment they need to schedule a virtual appointment (for a first appointment with a doctor plus I need blood work done). They offered to reschedule but the doctor I was referred to is still "booking out quite a ways" if you don't have 3 to 6 months to wait for an appointment, don't bother with this clinic. One positive, the girl who called me was very nice, and professional.

This place isn't taking new patients, but they say they are after they schedule your appointment 2 months out .They will cancel dont waste your time schedule somewhere realistic. I've never had to wait months for a doctor appointment anyway. Should tell you something right there..... Get help for yourself sooner.

I had an appointment scheduled at 8:30, I showed up at 8:22 and the receptionist told me that I had to leave and come back at 8:30 because I was "too early" and she couldn't/wouldn't check me in. I told her that my appointment was for 8:30, and she told me that "actually it's for 8:45, we just tell people it's 8:30". I don't understand what the point of sending someone away for eight minutes is. No excuse for this kind of behavior.

My Dr. Is an incredible human being, who literally saves lives every single day. She is at the tip of the spear treating those of us with co occuring disorders. She treats me with kindness, respect, and dignity. For the first time ever I can be honest with my health care team without fear of judgment. I am validated and my opinion counts in regards to my treatment plan. The one complaint I have is that for whatever reason providence is allowing her to leave. You would think that if you have someone as effective as Kim Nakai you would do whatever it takes to retain her. She has made a profound difference in my life and I'm sure that I am not the only one who feels this way.

Ive been dreading coming in to have my lab work done today. Normally it's an ordeal and there are several unsuccessful attempts to draw blood. Today, however, Gerald took my blood on the first try. If youre a complicated case like me, Gerald is your guy! Thank you Gerald, I appreciate the great start to my day!

I had a really good experience at this location. Dr. Michael was very informative. Really broke down everything for me and make sure that I understood everything. The nursing staff was excellent as well. Will definitely be going back. In the future for any medical needs that I need.

I have been here for 3.5 hours. I told reception I'm in pain. I told the person taking my vitals I am in pain 2 hours ago. I have to leave to get back to work in 10 minutes. That means I will have seen NO ONE and received NO CARE but had to pay for a co-pay I can't get a refund on cause they took my vitals. Do not come here. Go to an emergency room.

This has to be worst health care office ever! First off the front office ladies that works at immediate care simply won't listen to patients needs. When my mother was trying to explain something they obviously weren't listening. Horrible. My kids doctors keep changing. Along with calling the office and speaking with their schedulers they are rude 99% of the time. Hoping to find a different provider because they have been nothing but horrible.
