I
was
scheduled
for
a
physical
by
my
employer
for
1000,
I
checked
in
at
0945.
At
1020
I
asked
the
receptionist
if
there
were
any
problems
holding
me
up
from
being
seen.
She
stated
no,
to
"just
have
a
seat".
I
again
approached
her
at
1030
with
the
same
inquiry.
I
was
told
everything
was
fine
and
"sorry
for
the
wait".
At
1040,
I
asked
if
there
was
anything
I
could
do
to
speed
up
the
process
of
being
seen?
I
was
told
that
the
contract
at
my
employer
was
not
responsive
to
email
or
phone
calls.
I
asked
who
they
were
attempting
to
reach
and
even
gave
them
the
first
and
last
name
of
the
person
that
handles
these
situations
at
my
employer.
They
did
not
recognize
the
name
nor
could
they
tell
me
the
name
of
the
person
they
were
"attempting"
to
contact.
I
then
called
my
employer
to
explain
the
situation,
then
handed
my
phone
over
so
the
receptionist
could
speak
to
them
directly
and
fix
the
problem.
After
waiting
an
additional
17
minutes
I
was
seen
and
was
able
to
leave.
Two
days
later
I
again
visited
this
office
for
a
different
appointment
for
my
Reserve
military
career
at
1000.
Upon
arrival
I
was
told
the
provider
I
was
going
to
see
had
a
"family
emergency"
but
if
I
would
be
willing
to
wait
2
hours
I
could
be
seen
by
a
different
provider.
I
explained
that
I
was
unable
to
wait
that
long
and
was
given
a
letter
explaining
that
I
was
not
at
fault
and
that
I
would
be
rescheduled
for
a
different
day.
Which
brings
us
to
today,
one
week
later
for
a
1200
appointment
to
conduct
my
military
physical.
My
first
two
experiences
with
this
office
should
have
prepared
me
for
what
was
to
come.
After
checking
in
I
was
told
that
the
provider
I
was
going
to
be
seeing
would
not
be
in
for
another
hour
and
a
half.
The
receptionist
stated
that
the
contractor
to
the
military
had
called
me
twice
the
day
before
and
"left
a
message"
for
me
explaining
that
my
appointment
was
being
delayed
by
an
hour
and
a
half.
After
checking
my
phone,
there
was
no
evidence
to
support
the
receptionist
story.
The
staff
made
the
decision
to
get
as
much
of
my
appointment
completed
so
that
"when"
the
provider
arrived
I
would
be
seen
quickly
and
I
could
be
on
my
way.
This
did
not
happen.
Once
the
first
half
of
the
appointment
was
completed
I
was
told
to
"go
grab
some
lunch"
and
to
return
by
1:30
to
be
seen
by
the
provider.
Well
at
1:30
I
was
told
that
the
provider
was
"stuck
in
traffic"
and
should
be
here
by
2:00.
At
2:17
the
provider
arrived
and
I
was
seen
for
no
more
then
three
minutes
in
which
time
the
provider
wrote
one
note
on
my
paperwork
and
told
me
"well
your
done
my
friend".
It
is
my
intention
to
NEVER
return
to
this
office.
The
staff
is
very
polite
and
respectful
but
having
to
wait
for
an
unreasonable
time
to
get
simple
physicals
completed
is
unacceptable.
