Had rib tips on special today. They are awesome! Sold out in 30 minutes of being open!

Decided to take a Sunday Drive and ended up here. Walked in and the smell made your mouth start watering. There are so many options we opted for the Mountain so we could try everything. Brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey and had to try the meatloaf. All tasted as amazing as they smelled and the sides…mouth watering! Can’t wait to come back this unmet and enjoy the patio overlooking the Illinois River. Tomorrow’s breakfast will be amazing as well as the portions are plentiful!!!

I don't often give 5 stars but FroSmokes definitely deserves it. Everything about this place is excellent. Can't wait to go back again.

I had the nachos and they were very good. Seating inside and outside were available, which was nice given the weather.

This is a very sad review. My daughter and my husband both had reflux after eating this barbecue. As for me, I thought it was pretty good, nothing to write home about. It's definitely not worth a trip to Lacon. If you happened to be in Lacon, go for it. Maybe you'll have my luck.

Yeeeeees. They're not charging enough. An absolute winner - best BBQ in the several hundred mile range. My guy built his own smoker and the result is a labor of love. It's the best brisket I've ever had. Possibly the best ribs. Creative and thoughtful sides. Sauce is bomb, especially the Fro. View from the dining is excellent. Everything about this place is great.

Wow. No disrespect to Smoking Pit in Peoria, but FroSmokes has made it to the top of my list for BBQ in Central Illinois. Mouthwatering brisket, perfectly smoked. It was served with a side of sweet BBQ sauce, which was also delicious. The meat can stand on its own, but I do appreciate a good BBQ sauce. For sides, I chose the cheesy potatoes and the broccoli/cauliflower salad. I love a place that has amazing entrees and equally amazing sides. You could make a meal out of the sides...the perfect cheesy flavor, not greasy, served piping hot...the broccoli/cauliflower salad...the perfect "healthy" side to accompany the meat and potatoes. Just the right amount of sweetness, not too heavy on the dressing. FroSmokes is more than worth the drive from Peoria to Lacon. This will be in my regular restaurant rotation for sure.

Awesome place to eat. Friendly staff. Food was by far some of the best. Try the Mac n cheese and the potato salad they were amazing

The food was good, but the coleslaw was a bit small. The menu was cool, but hard to read. The service was great as there was (usually) a person at the counter. Although there was nobody else there, it took roughly 5 minutes to get 2 meals after we ordered them. The atmosphere was amazing as you could smell the bbq, amazing music, and an overall great design. If the coleslaw was bigger and the menu was more direct so I could read it, then it would be 5 stars. Overall I still suggest this place if you are in the area.

Tried for the first time tonight. Cant say enough good things!!! Everything was delicious❤️ I had the smoked chicken with slaw and taters, husband had the brisket and turkey with baked beans and corn bread. Chicken was perfectly smoked and juicy. Brisket had perfect smoke ring and was also juicy and delicious. All the sides were terrific, and corn bread was perfect! Young man that waited on is was super helpful with a great smile and sense of humor😁 Will definitely be going back soon!
