The rooms are huge, spacious and comfortable. The corridors are big and wide. The service is good and acceptable. Good secured Carpark. The seating area for the bar is quiet a tight fit but still good to just sit and have a few drinks next to the carpark. Food is lovely. Very nice food menu. Security provided. Location is idea - Located within the Main CBD, it is just walking distance to the shops, banks and ATM, Post Office and Police Station. The staff a friendly and helpful. Always around to assist

Very convenient location in Lae city. First glance of the hotel from the outside it looks run-down, however; the inside of the building is nice. The standard rooms are really big & spacious. They serve complimentary breakfast as well.

I only can rate the restaurant but the food and service is great. You'll be able to choose from a variety of Asian dishes and a fusion of Aussie cuisine. The spare ribs are highly recommend. The place however is slightly lacking in atmosphere compared to other restaurants in Lae.

I enjoyed my stay. Deluxe rooms. All spacious. Housekeeping on time. And the lamb rack with mushroom sauce was the best dish I have tested. I must say I was quite impressed with the services provided.

It's comfortable and the service is good as so far I would say. I love the milkshakes menu and the T-bone steak (well done) is delicious.

The food was great but i had to go to the doctors afer i had the cake the restaurant is ok and the rooms are nice but just don't eat the cake unlees you like throwing up and going to see the doctors

Amazingly, Lae City Hotel has very spacious rooms compared to bigger hotels, even comparable to hotels in Port Moresby. Good menu selection, although room service hours need extension. Chauffeuring services for tourists would greatly increase repeat stays and improvements on entertainment facilities for guests increase daily spending. On a bigger scale though, Lae has greatly changed in terms of infrastructure and is increasingly becoming a tourist attraction, and therefore, much more work is needed to improve conditions for tourists. Road infrastructure and transportation are the biggest challenges that is affecting business opportunities. There are many hard working people in Lae and Security services provided by Security companies have improved significantly. Lae can improve it's night life and provide entertainment for tourists, which will encourage repeat visits. Overall it's a great place to visit. Although, much needed improvement is required in behavioral attitudes towards alchohol consumption in hotels. Spacious rooms

The restaurant is very nice. Good variety of meals. Open from 6am through the day and for dinner. Room was neat and tidy however the AC didn't work and there are no ceiling fans. Be sure to check with reception about any airport transfers. And re-confirm. Staff were friendly. Quote expensive at K600 per night.

One of the very few good hotels in Lae ciry. Nice and clean but front desk is not helpful. Internet is unstable. It is good, however, laundry is inexpensive as you fill up a basket with 10 to 12 pieces of clothing for 10 US dollers.

I love this hotel and will definitely book my stay when I return to Lae. The bed is comfy, room is always clean and tidy. Room service is fast and always available on time. Dinner, breakfast and lunch is served on time and I love the food preparation, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Lae. ☺❤
