Omgoodness we are from Virginia headed to Texas stopped in for some food. So glad we did. Harry and Melissa took great care of us. They were very attentive and made us feel at home.. The food was incredible. Very tasty and hot. We had shrimp and catfish. Their house dip was on point. Great experience all around. Highly recommend

Cajun Table in Lafayette, we were down for Louisiana Comic Con 2022 and decided to partake in some local cuisine. Locals suggested it so away we go. Food was great, service was fast once the order was in, it did take a few minutes for some one to take our drink order and the several minutes for the drinks to come out, long enough for two others servers to ask us if we had been waiting on. But once the order was it, it was only minutes before the food arrived. It was very tasty. The entire party of 5 had a good experience. Would definitely recommend.

This spot truly is a great place to get your fill of true Cajun food. Not our first time here, but my first time having the Pirogue Party and it's worth writing a review about!! This is a fried shrimp poboy smothered in Maw's crawfish dip and let me tell you, it was devine! The poboy bread is from a local bakery and you can definitely tell because of how fresh it was. My hubby had the Crawfish etouffee and he loved it, it had a good "kick" to it!

I got the lunch special and asked for extra gravy. It didn't disappoint! The only issue I have is the tables against the wall with four chairs which creates no room it's designed for two ppl.

Went for lunch. Have frequented here before, but this time it was bad. They raised their prices on almost everything. Which I get it, inflation right? OK, well the fried pickles were 11$ ok whatever, but it looked like we got half an order. So after looking at the menu me and my husband both decided on the plate lunch. Which was chicken fried steak, gravy, garlic potatoes, corn, okra and a brownie. Well, that was so salty it was almost hard for me to eat. My husband couldn't finish his, so most of it went to waste. Even the potatoes were super salty. Not much taste other than that. When the waitress asked us how it was we told her it was super salty and she could see we didn't eat much of it. All she offered was a half hearted apology and went about her way. Fine, she didn't cook it, not her fault. But man, it was all so disappointing. For 2 plate lunches, and the fried pickles plus the tip it was 59 and some change. So, 60$ for some stuff we could barely eat....sad to say the least. We've always loved the food there. I'm not sure what is going on but, idk if it'll be worth going back... Edit for Owner Response: We didn't get a chance to ask for one honestly. We saw the waitress once for drinks and the app, another to order food, and a 3rd time to clear the table and bring the check. When we told her it was super salty she didn't offer anything. So we just paid and left. Another waitress also asked us and we told her the same thing. She also apologized but that was it, told her it wasn't her fault. I understand training but...dang.

The crawfish platter had great flavor, each crawfish tail was pretty meaty. We also tried the catfish platter; the fish tasted good without the catfish smell and the batter was light and crunchy, though a bit salty. The kids cheeseburger was a hit with the kids…

Wow! One of the best places to get a plate lunch! We tried the chicken stew plate lunch this past Thursday and it's hands down the best one I've ever had! Yesterday we went back after several people told my husband and I to try the Nonky's Fonky potatoes and they were outstanding!! So much cheesy goodness and lots of crispy bacon- so decadent! The burgers and gumbo are excellent too. Very impressed with the service and quality of food! We will definitely be back.

Service was five star!! The owners are very personable. We had fried shrimp and boiled crawfish. The shrimp and sweet potato fries were delicious!! I wasn’t a fan of the crawfish seasoning, but the others at the table liked it.

Wow, great atmosphere here and awesome Cajun seafood, crispy pork rind and 3 lb Cajun shrimp. Our server Sydney was outstanding with explaining the menu and making sure our specific tastes were followed by the kitchen, extra spicy Cajun on the side. Highly rate this restaurant if you’re looking for awesome seafood and great service. 5*****

This place is a hidden gem! With strong drinks and all you can eat shrimp for $20 you can't miss this! Our server was super great to us and especially my screaming baby 🙃 and omg we were able to take our left over shrimp with us!! 10 out of 10 would recommend! But definitely show up at 5pm with and empty belly and leave the babies at home! 🤣🤣

This is a great place to get your fix if you’re craving crawfish. I just wanted to tell you about this amazing little Cajun spot I stumbled upon! The staff was super welcoming and friendly. And let me tell you, the 5 pounds of crawfish I ordered were absolutely delicious! They were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and I couldn't get enough. The place had a chill vibe, which added to the overall experience. If you're looking for some killer grub and a great time, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is about as Cajun as you are gonna get unless you go into the bayou. The crawfish was excellent, being a light weight, I got my fill at three pounds but as I was leaving, I met a guy who had eaten thirty one. The seasoning was excellent and the dip was fantastic. The smoked sausage was unremarkable but since it was only a small part of the meal, I won’t complain. They are definitely on my see you again list.

We found this place about a year ago while passing through the area. We have been looking forward to visiting here again and we were nearby. So of course we had to make the detour to come back! So glad we did, we love this place! Starting with the pork rinds, such a great tease of the food to come. I really enjoy the crawfish etouffee with the fried crawfish on top. I wish they had some bread pudding for dessert, that would be perfect. Our server was great, she took care of us so well. Looking forward to our next visit whenever that maybe.

Loved the entire vibe. Ordered a variety of things like the Swamp Wings, Fish and Shrimp Platter, and the Burger. Only gave it 4 ⭐ because our server was not as great. The food tasted amazing.

When I was down in Louisiana during Hurricane Ida, we stopped at this cute little place, wanting some authentic Cajun food. It delivered. The nachos (picture attached) are the best food I have eaten in my whole life. I think about them daily. Nothing comes close to the flavor or texture or combination of everything. Incredible. Best. Food. Ever. We also had their Gumbo appetizer and it was also phenomenal. The service was outstanding, despite a hurricane, and the atmosphere was so comfortable and family friendly. I will definitely be coming back to Louisiana specifically for this restaurant, if nothing else.

As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be good! The decor fit the restaurant very well. We ordered the pow pow chicken wings as an appetizer and they were phenomenal!! The sauce was great, and the staff was very friendly. I didn’t know how to pronounce certain menu items and she was happy to help!
