I found my stay here too be extremely pleasant. The room was clean, quiet and nicely appointed. While not the cheapest place to stay, l felt that l got what l paid for. Sadly the pool was closed for repairs. The desk staff was pleasant and professional upon check in. I'd recommend staying here.

The staff was professional and very clean lobby. My room was not the best. A drawer was broken( it kept sliding out) and tub wasn’t cleaned. Housekeeping came and wiped it out, with no gloves on and I heard no water ran to rinse out the product. Clean towels had hair attached. The bed was comfy but I will pay extra somewhere before I go back there.

Literally had roaches. Killed 6 while staying there (1 night), and one of the pictures on the wall had trapped a few dead bug bodies. Wish i could have gotten my money back as soon as I walked in the room so i could have stayed somewhere else.

I was purposely booked into a room with no running shower water. When I asked to use another room just to take a shower no one from the staff ever called me back. Went downstairs to ask the front desk, and was told no with a horrible attitude, saying this is not the hotel’s fault it’s the city, yet the hotel put me in a room on a floor with no running water. Asked to speak to the manager, and was given a card to email him. After multiple emails, no response. This hotel sucks. Never stay here unless you like the worst of the worst.

The front desk was very friendly. Room was clean. Beds seemed new. We only stayed one night but it was quiet and we were able to get a nights sleep. Breakfast was good. They offered good options for everyone.

Overall great hotel for the price. Room and hotel was clean, free basic breakfast, ac worked well, front desk employees were helpful. Took off one star because the cleaning lady entered my room despite the do not disturb sign. They do not know English, said a front desk employee. After leaving a written note on my door plate in Spanish this didn't happen again during my stay. I'd suggest the same to anyone who plans to stay here unless you enjoy someone barging into your room

Requested a late checkout and the front desk clerk said they had reached their limit for late checkouts. In my 40 years of traveling, I have never heard of such a rediculus policy. I explained we were dealing with a family issue and needed extra time to get back to the hotel to pack and check out. I was told if we were not checked out by 11, they would charge us another night. I asked to speak to the manger and the desk clerk was the only employee on site!! Apparently absentee owners/managers only show up to collect their money and leave. Never staying again!!!!

I enjoyed my stay and will come back again! I do wish they offered eggs and turkey sausages instead of pork only options!

It was a shame to have a bad experience. The room had no water, it only had the sink and the shower had no water. I went and told them, and they just told me I have to talk to the person in charge. I do not recommend it

3 total issues but the #1 reason not to stay here is the stall smoke smell in the rooms. I had a 3rd floor then was switched to a 4th floor. Even though this is a 100% smoke free hotel now, you can tell at one time it wasn't and nothing been replaced since then. When unpacking once home I had to wash every bit of clothes I brought, even stuff that never left the suit case. Had my roommate smell a pair of shorts and he asks if I wore them to a smoking bar. 2nd was water pressure or the lack there of. 2 days there Fri-Sun and Friday night little to no water pressure, Saturday during the day was 0 water pressure. I couldn't fill a .5L water bottle in under a minute. Sat after midnight was the only time there was slightly enough water pressure for a shower. 3rd is the basic breakfast. Waffle maker, sausage links, thinnest bacon I've ever seen and that's it. No eggs, biscuits, etc. My recommendation is to stay at the Windgate about a mile away. Cheaper, recently renovated, much better breakfast, non of the issues I listed for La Quinta. The only thing was the staff, they were great but the hotel they work at is very lacking.

I was visiting family that came in from out of town and I was a little disappointed that the hotel looks so old and miskept on the inside for it being such a new hotel in the area. It was not horrible by any means however I was just surprised at how little upkeep is happening with this hotel. The location is a good location however the part of the road its on makes it a little complicating to get out of the parking lot because of the amount of traffic on the road. I would not discourage anyone from staying in the hotel however for the price they are charging, there are other hotels with better upkeep near by in the Lafayette area. I think La Quinta could do better by simply keeping up with the hotel a bit better and by being a little more friendly. I am huge on customer service, I believe it can make or break a business.

5-5-23 DO NOT ALLOW A BOOKING IN ROOM 101! Hotel management made a horrible call on making room 101 a room for a patron to stay in. It is one foot from the side entrance door. All night long, all you can hear is the banging of the entrance door closing after people enter. It is LOUD!!! Not only that, BUT...if someone smokes near that door...ROOM 101 BECOMES INFILTRATED WITH SMOKE!!!! DO NOT ALLOW THE ATTENDENT TO BOOK YOU INTO ROOM 101! UNLESS THEY GIVE YOU THIS ROOM AS A FREEBIE!

One of the nicest Wyndham facilities I’ve ever stayed at. Overall spacious, clean, modern. Very comfortable room with great decorations and lots of amenities. Front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Horrible, like the reviews say these people who run this place are thieves. The hotel was alright and decent, also a bunch of nasty looking stains on the carpet. Only staying one night to shower and sleep. But I was charged that Monday for a $100. They charge me for a “broken lampshade” I mean who has ever heard of a lampshade being a $100 at a cheap hotel. First of all I didn’t break any lampshade, but when I ask for proof the manager said she would email me pictures. Still nothing, I have been dealing with this for a week now. Just called to check the status and the front desk person wouldn’t let me speak with the manager and said there was nothing to be done. I have already called 4 times and I will have to resort to claiming a fraudulent charge with my bank. I feel like they do this all the time, “ o it will take a few days to get back to you” and hear nothing from these people. Hoping that I will just forget

Location is hard to turn in and out of. Service was okay. Pool wasn’t open and every employee staff has a different reason why. Room was ok. Cleanliness- Hair in the shower, stains on carpet. TV remote won’t change the channel. Only good thing is that it’s close to a lot of restaurants.

Listen to the reviews & don’t stay here. The front desk “manager” is extremely RUDE. His name is Doug. When I commented on his nasty attitude he blamed it on it being late at night as if it’s my fault he works over night? After I checked in he locked the door knowing I was coming back inside with my bags. 0/10 do not recommend

I used to be Mr La Quinta but I've seen such degradation over the years! A/C had a rattle so if I didn't use white noise it would have been an issue. Shower flooded the bathroom floor because the door didn't seal. Front desk person last night didn't smile or act friendly. Maybe a bad day or felt sick so I'll give on that. Breakfast was the worst thing. Waffles with bacon and sausage. Small sides like 3 sweet cereals and a few choices for sweet rolls. No healthy choices like egg or grits or plain oatmeal for folks with dietary limitations. So the using La Quinta as a first choice anymore. My last few stays haven't measured up to the other major chains. If I have to go eat breakfast elsewhere anyway then I'll pay a few more dollars to have it all together for convenience. La Quinta! Better management is needed. I hope you use these reviews to change for the better. I own a business as if I were as non-conforming as you, it would suffer too! Please do better.

Good hotel for a quick stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff at the front desk during the check-in could have been better, but perhaps it wasn't her day. I didn't use any of the facilities onside (the pool was closed), and I brought my own breakfast, but all looked good. Location isn't ideal if you want to explore Lafayette. But Perfect for a one/two night business trip.

The room was a little aged, but clean and cool! We enjoyed our stay. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Our dogs were welcome and we had no issues with them. I would book here again!

The hotel is great. I've stayed here several times over the years. My only issue is trying to leave. The traffic is terrible and there is a blind curve to the left. I often have to make a right turn and find a place to turn around.

Warning: expect to be charged without notice for being late to check in and reservation canceled. No warning on checkout nor a receipt in your email. Only finding out when you see a late bill from a credit company. A sneaky way to take advantage of a customer. Breakfast consisted of only bacon no eggs entire week of stay. Nickle and dime location. No help from customer service.

Every thing was good the rooms, it was very clean, the breakfast wasn’t bad for hotel food. The only two problems was that the pool wasn’t open and the most biggest problem was the man at the front desk. He was very rude, disrespectful and he mocked my father. My dad asked him do you have any rooms available. The man at the desk repeated him and chuckled. My experience wasn’t bad here but it of been way better if that guy wasn’t there.

Our stay here was fantastic! Rooms/bathrooms are clean! Our bed was so comfortable. Had a mini fridge in our room and free continental breakfast. This is also a pet friendly hotel 🐶🐶! Lots of parking. Very friendly staff! Five stars across the board! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You can always tell when management changes at a hotel. This is not a good era for laquinta pinhook. The reps are not professional, they are lazy, the front desk is unattended for 20 plus minutes at a time. Double charges on rooms, no apologies, just excuses. Laquinta is a favorite of mine, but I will not be visiting the pinhook location again.

We loved the room! But with it being a pet friendly hotel, I am pretty sure my daughter got bit by fleas. She has bites all over her body.

Do not stay here. Laying in bed and was attacked by bed bugs. Asked to be moved to a new room and that room had bugs in the bed as well brought to the staffs attention and was asked to check out.

Physical facility nice and cleaean. Room ok and great bed. Breakfast however not very good at all. Minimal offerings and out of coffee too frequently. Appears to be short staffed for "BREAKFAST ". Plan to eat elsewhere.

I decided to change hotels from another I had reserved to this one (La Quinta & Suites Oil Center) because it looked newer and was a step up. I base my choices/decisions on reviews online from various sources. Today as I arrived, so far so good. Outside of the building looks nice. The grounds looked maintained, clean and nice. The lobby and front desk looked clean and nice. Now for where I will spend my time away from home.....the actual room. OK, here goes. It still looks new'ish but it won't be long before it gets many more reviews saying how the hotel staff/housekeeping aren't doing enough to keep it that way. Why do these folks at the hotels not do there jobs. Upon first entering it looks pretty good although the rug which looks fairly new was not very clean. Perhaps its time to get a new vacuum cleaner ??? But then as I get settled in I start the see all the little things that staff does not care about cleaning or keeping up to par to meet its classification standards (of which La Quinta is in the 'midscale' range). I reallly dislike when I travel and check into a 'home away from home'. This is not how I live. Hotels need to take responsibility as that is there "bread and butter". Stains on walls (looks like dried blood) in the bathroom. Also in the bathroom, lavender color paint drips as well as green paint drips on floor next to sink area. Also mismatched paint on bathroom walls. Next to right side of bed on the wall are some more stains. Ceiling directly over bed some more stains. Lamp shades next to bed on each side stained and holes in them as well as dents. Sectional couch has fabric ripped off and exposed wood and staples. Stains also all over the couch. What is it? Stains on walls? Are people just totally disgusting and have to splatter things around? I just don't understand it.
