They were super friendly & helpful! The rooms were clean & the place was quiet & well kept. They allowed my pet & made special accomodations to my circumstances without hesitation. I wasn't ready to leave when my stay was over, great experience overall! 💖

We found 2 drawers with dirty laundry from a previous guest, there was no hot water for showers, the room was dark and stank. When owner was confronted we were told they would give us a $25 refund on our credit card. Have called 2 times in 4 weeks, still no refund. (Edit) I’ve never been to this motel let alone the area it’s in, presuming my account has been hacked somehow but Im changing the review to 5 stars just because

I wouldn’t even give this motel 1 star, but the only way was to write a review was to give a star! This Motel was horrible. We got there after traveling 1/2 a day for an event in Elkhorn only to want to shower and rest. The water ran black in the shower and sink!!! I let the front desk know and wanted a refund and they refused to give me one. I left immediately and got a room at holiday inn express. I am going to report this motel to the county human and health services department.

I stayed here a week I got no new towels no toilet paper they had me take out my own garbage and they yelled at me for not taking it out myself it's not required as a guest to take your own garbage out and it's across the yard and I'm disabled. The guy also stalked my window and shut the handle of the door the night before leaving here. Kind of creepy and they don't do housework.

A little scary on the outside but was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room. Very cozy!

Dated but clean...the walls are thin but they are courteous if fewer guests are staying and won't put someone next door if they can avoid it A++

Very clean rooms and Lobby area. Management is very friendly. They are pet friendly as well. Reasonable rates daily and weekly. Quiet area close to shopping.

The staff was very helpful with things I needed upon arrival. They were very polite. This is one of the best motels I’ve ever stayed in. I highly recommend you try this motel.

I stayed here for 2 nights and honestly THE BEST motel experience I've EVER had. I drove up from Indiana to visit my girlfriend for the weekend and the owner AND his wife couldn't have been any more welcoming AND accommodating to me and my girlfriend! I AM 1000% recommending this place if you are ever in that area... You won't regret it... Thank you so much to the owners for your hospitality!!! I will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Stayed here for the Jimmy Buffett concert at Alpine Valley Music Theatre. This is a $70 a night motel at best, but during Alpine Valley events, They charge over $300 a night! This is price gouging & should be illegal. They also make you stay 2 nights minimum! The concert got canceled by the local authorities due to weather & rescheduled 3 weeks later. I politely stated to the hotel owner that I'd paid his "event prices" & that I'd come back in 3 weeks & pay normal prices. He promptly told me the price would be the same "event price" that I'd already paid, only all he had left was a bigger room & the price would be OVER $600 for the 2 nights! Meanwhile, I'd talked to other guests who weren't concert goers, and they were paying normal prices! what a scam! I went ahead & paid the price to come back, because I wanted to be guaranteed a place to stay, but I'll be reporting this motel to whatever authorities I can.

They were great about late check in time, and very friendly. Nice back yard area for people with dogs or kids. And yes they really do allow dogs. Down falls: bathroom fan didnt work, beds are very hard, and the walls are easy to hear thru.

We stayed here due to the location near Alpine Valley Music Theatre. I booked one night for our concert back in Feb and they called in April to tell me there was now a 2 nt minimum. Jimmy Buffett is worth it so I did it. Price gouging at its finest. We paid $555 for 2 nts at a $69 motel at best. While sitting outside on second night a small trucker pulled in and got a room for $117. Even that was nuts. Dark, old, dirty showers, terrible towels. We brought our own sheets, pillows and blanket thank goodness. We are not fussy people but this was ridiculous. Hampton Inn right up the street for $202 for concert night UGH. WORST PART is IF they used any of this gouged concert goers money to update the place it could be cute and homey. The location is good and the town of Elkhorn is adorable. I understand the business tactic. Demand is demand but the family owned business should be completely embarrassed and I cannot believed they looked us in the face at check in.

It is hard to find where to start. My family and another family both arrived to be told our stay was not paid. She asked both of us for ID which we provided and she photocopied. I said she had not asked my OK to copy my ID and she replied she did not care, By the way I have the photo copy of my ID on the back of a crossroads motel bill to prove my point. She then told us neither of us had paid and how did we want to pay? We both responded that we had paid and both provided our paid receipts on our phones. She then got agitated and told us we had to cancel our expedia reservations and re-book with her. we both refused and asked that our expedia reservations and payments be honored. She then got on the phone and had a 10 minute conversation in another language. At this point I was frustrated and asked her to return my illegally photocopied ID to me so i could find other lodging (as did the other family) and she started talking very loudly to me in another language, I 3 times demanded my photocopied id back (as did the other family), I admit i was likely not as polite as I had been at this point. She finally provided them to us and we left. Within 10 minutes of us leaving both families credit cards (which were only provided to expedia, not the hotel) were charged for the room. AFTER THEY KNEW THEY HAD MESSED UP THEY CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARDS ANYWAYS, A SECOND TIME , CRIMINAL!!!!

All appliances worked in room 22. The stay was peaceful and the room was super clean except for a little cigarette smell, which eventually fizzled out by the next morning. Otherwise great stay, I recommend.

I had no phone service. And WiFi is OK at best. If you want to be off the grid, this is a good place to go. But, if you have kids, buy a hotspot. They do have a TV in the room. And the beds and pillows are comfy.

Clean, no bad smells, easy access and quiet. I do recommend this place we didn’t have any issues whatsoever. I have honestly had way more problems staying at commercial hotels. Yes it is a little bit outdated, but I don’t mind. Because it was clean. -1*because they need new pillows, they were way too hard!
