😐 The only reason why I chose this restaurant was the excellent reviews. Don’t get me wrong, I love Indian food, but I am on holiday in Portugal, and I want to enjoy typical dishes. That being said, I was basically lured to this place based on the very positive reviews. So, a couple of days ago, I mad... People often mention Indian, service, restaurant, staff, good, great, Lagos, dishes, delicious, recommend,

The only reason why I chose this restaurant was the excellent reviews. Don’t get me wrong, I love Indian food, but I am on holiday in Portugal, and I want to enjoy typical dishes. That being said, I was basically lured to this place based on the very positive reviews. So, a couple of days ago, I made sure I had my reservation (made on the same day of the dinner) at 20:00. On my way there, I noticed that some guys were spreading flyers for the restaurant, so I had the impression that they needed customers. Anyways, once there, I waited for 10 min to be seated, which is perfectly fine, right? But still a bit weird considering the above (people recruiting customers from the street). Regarding the food: we tried vegetable samosa and paneer pakora as starters and chicken Karahi and lamb korma as main dishes. The starters were ok, considering the low price. The chicken Karahi was fine, while the lamb korma was way too sweet. Chicken/lamb korma is one of my absolute favorite dishes in Indian cuisine. I have never been to India, but I tried this dish all over Europe (France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Bulgaria), and the one I had last night was so sweet I had to ask for salt, which is something I find very rude of me. I was a bit disappointed, but I appreciated the kindness of the waitpersons. As a last point, at the very end of the dinner, I realized why this place has so many reviews: once you pay, the manager asks you if everything is fine -and if you are like me and you don’t want to make a scene if something wasn’t perfect, you answer “yes”-, and if you can drop a nice review on google/TripAdvisor. A handshake and lollipops follow this. I found this quite weird, and I felt a sense of despair. The dinner was really cheap (20€ per person), but I recommend it only if you don’t have great expectations and want to spend less

Fantastic restaurant, 5 star service and above. The food is definitely some of the best curries we have ever had. If in the vicinity or indeed beyond, give yourself a culinary treat. I 💯 % recommend this restaurant & from someone who eats curries on a regular basis that is saying a lot.

My first trip to the restaurant and will definitely go back. Great service and menu options. We had several delicious appetizers (papadums, samosas, chicken tikka) and and shared a main dish of chicken tandori. Seasoning/sauce was superb. Flavors were well developed and fresh. Pleasant atmosphere. I noticed that several of the tables had repeat customers. Well worth the visit and we'll head back soon. Yum!

Possibly the best staff in the whole of Portugal and with good food. After establishing the right amount of spiciness (Bombay hot... very hot for Europeans but not something that would knock me unconscious), we were in for something new. The starter of prawns with mango and... well... something... was not the best way to begin our meal (but of s letdown). Later we had a hot hot prawn dish, a bit hot lamb (for my girlfriend), and some delicious, spicypaneer combination. The garlic cheese nan was super yummy, and it was perfect with the saucy dishes. The level spice was exactly what we asked for, all in perfect balance with the raita, salad, and rice. Dessert was a bit weird and the lychee balls were very very sweet, but both interesting to try... once. All in all the food was good but not amazing. Good enough to come back... maybe... However, the staff was 11 out of 10. Really great!

We was walking outside looking for a place to eat - Raghav invite us with warm welcome. Indian restaurant with Indian people. Service went smoothly (busy Saturday evening) - every person who was working there knows what they doing. Waiter suggested us what to order. Good food, not to much sugar in dishes and proper spacy. Traditional Indian cuisine.

Fantastic food and incredible service. As a group of 3 we ordered a few different dishes to share, and they were so good that we ordered more. We asked the staff for a recommendation and told him what we liked and he surprised us with another great dish. The service was excellent, from the start to the finish of our dining experience. The staff made it a very personalized experience and were very professional and attentive. Definitely worth a visit while you’re in Lagos!

This restaurant is already well known in Lagos but I never had a chance to try until now. We visited for a late lunch around 2:40pm. When we sat down, our waiter gave us the menu immediately and kindly explained the kitchen would close at 3 but the restaurant would stay open till we finish our meal. We were hesitant but because of the late lunch hour, we ordered a couple of dishes to share. The service was quick but the presentation was very good. They did not rush us at all, they even let us order a bottle of wine. We were fully able to enjoy our delicious meal. So good!

This restaurant has an amazing service and staff. Right after getting in the door we were greeted very openly and friendly. After being seated we were given the menu and since one of us couldn't quite decide what to order, he got a recommendation that turned out really good, so the staff know about the food they were serving, which is always great to see. The food arrived very fast and was incredibly tasty. The hot Chicken Mango was amazing, just the right level of spicy. With such great quality, you'd expect the food to be expensive, but it was super cheap, even cheaper than a delivery service, while still having better food. Not recommending this would be a crime.

Wonderful atmosphere, and even better tasting cuisine. Every dish was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We ordered tandoori, korma, and curry, and each was clearly superior to the others. So, if you appreciate a good Indian meal and are considering about going, DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious - especially while we waited. Service was fantastic - food excellent - could not fault anything. Will definitely come here again. Here the Indian festival Holi is celebrated very well which was very interesting. Along with the food, the ambience gives the restaurant a different feel.

The restaurant was recommended by the local ubar driver who comes often to eat. As mentioned, authentic Indian food in the local area. No disappointment!! Loved the food!

Nicest Indian in Lagos This Indian is amazing. Please try it. The staff is all so welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious, I can’t flaw it. Reasonably priced as well. Chicken tandoori is our favorite. Will be returning again soon!

This restaurant in Lagos, Portugal is a very good place. It was a quiet day of the Autumn season so we got a table easily. The staff were helpful and attentive whilst also dealing with someone's birthday party. It's a very clean restaurant and the washroom facilities are good.As vegetarians, the availability and quality of the food was good. It is located right opposite the Marina and harbour.

Very disappointed with this estelishment for reasons I was not expecting. First off, two of us walk into what is a not-so-busy place, probably due to it being off season. We get seated at a table for two but we like to have a little more room to manoeuvre so ask to be seated at one of many of the 4 seaters. We are denied for no specific reason. I mention there's a couple already at a four table so why can't WE sit on one? Server tells me they're waiting for someone else. I gave the benefit of the doubt and we sat at the 2 person table. As predicted, no one else sat at the 4 table with the two people already there. Evidence attached. Then they tell us they don't serve tap water because we're too close to the sea ...? I mean, did we have stupid written on our forehead or something. Other things happened which I don't need to go into. Food wasn't anything amazing to write about. I won't be back.

We spent two weeks in Lagos and this restaurant had the best service of all our dining out experiences!! The staff were so attentive, fast, kind and pleasant! The food was delicious! We had paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi, and vegetarian samosas. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic Indian food and a fantastic price in addition. My partner and I ate our fill of delicious food with wine and beer and still spent less than €70 total. In particular we loved the Lamb Dal Karahi (lamp perfect, lentils perfect, and peppers still with great texture) and the garlic naan! Everything was delicious and my only regret is we don't live nearby! :)

Looking a google reviews we tried the restaurant during our Lagos visit . Ambiance are good , staff is friendly, price was reasonable . We ordered , veg pakora , pannier pakora , chicken kabab , mushroom curry , naan & egg friend rice . Mushroom curry was the best , fried rice was good too . Veg pakora are like vada vs pakoras , not much taste , chicken kabab was salty .. each item is small portions . Overall decent food .

We are from Italy and we had a great experience here. The food is really good and the service too (with a starter and sweets at the end). They are so gentle and very fast. The price is fair. We suggest this place to everyone! Ps. They are very carefull about the cleaning and the hygiene.

I order prawn curry, mild. For me mild is not spicy at all feel sweet a bit, if you like to eat spicy you should order more than mild. But totally I love here. Fresh prawn easy to park the car and nice price.

Good food, good prices. Ordered different things from the menu to try, 3 appetizers which I enjoyed, 3 main courses, 2 different breads and 2 desserts. But one of the main vegetarian dishes smelled like sweaty socks and tasted awful, so I didn't eat it.
