I has going to make a surprise to my wife, cause she loves horses and had not riden one in a long time, so I drove to QPA Horse Riding, it is definitely a beautiful place with beautiful horses. As we arrived we were greeted by 2 dogs, I said to my wife " oh so sweet" 😊 cause I love dogs.🐶❤️ Well they started barking (that's normal). I seen someone outside the little place with the horses with 1 younger girl. Well we were completely ignored by all of them still, we parked right in front of them in the parking lot and nothing, while the dogs got more "aggressive" and barked nonstop. Well I would expect the people at this amazing place to call the dogs, but no. 😞 Well and result my car is ruined the dogs keep jumping and scratching the doors. We left never to came back. Well, still had stop for a bit cause the poor pinny was left in the middle of the road unattended. So definitely not a good experience. I did not contacted them or ask them to fix the door. Cause that is not the problem. Just think that people working with dogs and horses should be a bit more carrying. Hope this review help you to make some changes in the way you deal with your costumers. Thanks

QPA is an unbelievably wonderful place to work or to visit, surrounded by breath-taking natural scenery, horse-riding here is a dream come true. Jinny, the owner, is truly one of the most friendliest, kindest, and most openly welcoming people I have ever met. At QPA Jinny and her fabulous team love, help and care for over 15 beautiful horses. I spent 3 months with this unique bunch of human beings and have never come across more hardworking, determined, caring or helpful people, they were all an absolute thrill to work with and for. I can also say from personal experience that every single volunteer here is looked after and truly valued as part of the team just as every animal is looked after, nurtured and loved unconditionally. Each beautiful horse (cat and puppy) at the centre have large open paddocks with lots of space to run, play or just stand and graze. In addition all the animals have distinctive personalities and characters which makes being here an exciting daily adventure. With each one filled with friendship, laughter and undeniably magnificent HORSEY MADNESS. In short any person or animal who comes to QPA are all treated with the utmost respect, consideration and love. The time I spent at QPA with these stunning animals and Gorgeous Group of people (Jinny, Sue, Karis, Joyce and every single other person I met) flew by WAY too fast, and I can't wait until I can go back. Thank you so much Jinny, and the team You are FAB.

Kids did a pony ride and my wife and I did an hour ride. Horses were beautiful and very gentle. Despite only very little horse experience myself I was able to enjoy a beautiful ride through the countryside. Staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a wonderful place.

Really terrible experience with this company, I’m very disappointed. As an experienced rider with a toddler who also rides, I contacted them 2 weeks in advance of our trip to see if we could arrange to ride out together with someone leading my daughter. Email communication was sporadic, I had to chase several times and in the end there wasn’t even a response. I then called when we arrived in Portugal and the staff member confirmed my daughter could go on a pony ride, but she needed to check with her boss if I was able to ride alongside her round the farm. She took my number to call back and never did. I then called again, in vain hope to chase only to be told my daughter was too young and some story about not being insured-which was a total cop out because they knew her age from the first email and I had reconfirmed it in other communications including by phone several times since. I am sorely disappointed with a very sad 3.5 year old who was so looking forward to a ride on holiday. This company need to heavily work on their communication and customer service.

Very recommend, lovely staff and lovely sweet calm horses a very welcoming, if you have children i recommend the pony club on Saturday. And during the summer of 2018 lots of competition came.

We had a wonderful experience riding with QPA. Our Horses were completely bombproof, very calm and had a healthy glow. On our 2 hour ride we saw plenty of beautiful scenery, riding through vineyards, old farms and remote hilltops with lovely views. We also learned a lot about the flora of the area from our guide Alise. Alise was outstanding, she conducted the ride well, encouraging us to use the different gaits while remaining conscious of my sister's slight loss of confidence on horseback. Google maps took us right to the stable so finding them was not a problem. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Nice place to ride horse. During our holliday we (daughter 11 and father) would like to make a 2 hour ride. I called in advance to make a reservation and drove there by rental car. Google maps showed me the way. The ride itself was fantastic. It is lovely to ride with your daughter even when the level of experience is that big. Follow the (english) instructions and enjoy the ride. They can supply a helmet for safety and Alice was kind enough to make some pictures If you are in doubt going...... Don't hesitate and go!

We've been visiting QPA with our daughter over the last years and it's an awesome spot! She's now 4 and loves riding Bolly, Penny and Romeo :-) The horses are well cared for and the scenery is beautiful :-)

We did an hour ride with Katerina, she was very nice, the horses were nice, the scenery was gorgeous. We called a couple days ahead of time and made an appointment, everything worked out well.

This ride was absolutely amazing. It has rained the week before and everything was green and lush. Katerina was my guide for a two hour ride. She made the ride so enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
