Lovely
hotel
with
generous
family
suites.
Very
peaceful
next
to
the
beach.
It's
about
20
minutes
walk
to
town,
but
you
can
stroll
along
the
beach
boardwalk
and
enjoy
the
views.
The
beach
itself
is
very
quiet
and
clean.
There
are
plenty
of
loungers
for
everyone
beside
the
large
pool,
despite
the
hotel
being
full.
Reasonable
prices
at
the
pool
bar
and
spa.
The
kids'
club
is
excellent.
The
staff
are
enthusiastic
and
really
go
out
of
their
way
to
entertain.
Even
our
eldest
child,
who
initially
refused
to
go,
was
quickly
converted.
Some
small
negatives/suggestions
-
1.
Limit/ban
children's
access
to
the
spa.
I
went
once
and
it
was
awful.
Jacuzzi
and
pool
full
of
kids
and
I
couldn't
get
in.
More
kids
than
adults,
and
completely
chaotic.
Far
from
a
relaxing
space
2.
Breakfast
is
a
bit
crazy/crowded
at
times.
To
be
fair,
the
staff
coped
well
with
it
and
items
quickly
replenished.
Have
been
in
other
hotels
where
you
need
to
constantly
ask
for
simple
items
like
cups,
plates,
cutlery
and
everything
constantly
running
out.
Not
like
this
here
at
all.
It
is
however
quite
cramped
when
the
breakfast
room
is
full,
and
hard
to
walk
around
without
being
bumped
into.
Would
be
good
if
there
was
another
small
room
they
could
use
for
overflow
at
breakfast
when
hotel
is
full.
Although
if
children
were
prevented
from
running
round
the
room,
that
would
help!
Small
queues
at
peak
times,
so
you
may
have
to
wait
a
little
3.
Music/entertainment
could
be
quite
loud
and
intrusive
around
the
pool
at
times.
Needed
earphones
for
the
lunchtime
workout,
for
sure!
The
Sunday
without
entertainment
was
blissful!
I
must
add,
though,
that
I'm
the
type
of
person
who
normally
avoids
booking
hotels
with
any
entertainment
schedule
or
kids
club,
as
I'd
much
prefer
peace,
and
this
was
still
within
my
tolerable
limits
Overall,
it's
a
lovely
hotel.
We've
stayed
at
Vila
Gale
Cascais
3
times
and
always
enjoyed,
hence
we
booked
Vila
Gale
when
visiting
Lagos.
Didn't
regret
it.
Yes,
it's
a
bit
further
from
town,
but
we
were
so
glad
to
escape
to
the
peace
of
the
hotel.
If
you
don't
feel
like
walking,
there
are
plenty
of
Ubers,
which
are
mostly
under
€5.
Lagos
is
very
busy
in
peak
season,
but
the
hotel
and
surroundings
provided
great
respite
