Had a pedicure and really enjoyed it! Both my wife and myself were treated superbly. Will definitely go back.

Stayed at Bayview townhouses 159 for 2 weeks. The 3 bedrooms and basement set up was a wonderful space for 2 families sharing. The gym and pools (indoor and outdoor) are great HOWEVER, do note, Bayview is and will be a building site for 6 months to a year more. This means dealing with cranes, heavy trucks, hammering and electric tools from 8am during week days. It also means the immediate area is a dust trap, especially on windy days with the potential for the outdoor pool to be unusable due to the sand drifting into it from wirking diggers

Boa Vista Resort-Lagos-very fortunate to have found this resort during our research into Portugal's Algarve region-the southern coast.even though it looks like it's quite new, staff told me it's been here over a decade.it's not located right on the beach.that's a bit of a drive.but it's worth it to be in a place so lovely & well kept.our unit was a 2 bedroom condo with one upstairs & one down.clearly designed for 2 couples/families to occupy as was the case with our neighbors.daily maid service.a full, well equipped kitchen for cooking in, 2 baths with the 1 upstairs a bit larger, and a small patio downstairs & balcony upstairs, complete with electronic sunshade.the main couch/loveseat living area is upstairs also with the dining area off the kitchen on the main level.the couch folds out to a bed with a thin mattress.but it is the only bed that is actually a twin bed as both the other bedrooms have a pair of single beds with hard mattresses.and they didn't have a way to connect them so each night a canyon was created if we tried to get close.unfortunate but really the only drawback to the unit. the area of the complex we were in-Bella Colina Village-includes a decent but unremarkable restaurant, golf course, spa and fitness area with indoor pool, and 2 outdoor pools w/kids pools.plus many loungers & umbrellas.these were a nice respite after a day out exploring.we highly recommend the spa massages as these were very enjoyable & done by professionals.staff was universally helpful. highly recccommended.

We have booked an apparthotel for a week The appartment is clean and ok, staff is friendly but the resort is max 3 stars and not 5 The breakfast is nothing special, quiete simple, restaurant is also simple The swimming pool and staff are old and not child friendly I would not recommend the resort with kids Only when you book to play golf the whole time. The golf itself is marvellous You need a car on this location

Golfed here, nice layout hilly though. Back 9 in better nick than front 9. Weeds on some of greens on F9! Overall experience helped by service and food in 19th which was good.

It’s our fourth time we stay at Boavista and it pretty much à sure thing. Nice and quiet, this time we had a group of +/- 20 people who thought they owned the place, taking up a lot of space, luckily we were able to change condo to a more quieter location. The staff is friendly and always ready to help.

Quite difficult to find as it is a huge estate, but beautiful and clean properties with ample space and amenities provided. The dining area/restaurant could do with an uplift but the spa and pool area are great for families and a home away from home

Great place to relax, nice apartment with all amenities like washing machine, dishwasher etc. The pool was accessible easily via back door. One could enjoy sauna and indoor pool too with a little cost or even do spa, massage etc along with it. However, the internet was not good so I am cutting 1 star.

Quite a nice resort, with included in- and outside pools etc. The rented house inside the resort was clean and amazing so far. Unfortunately it happens that the house owners don't inform about every details which were important. Therefore we were staying on 2 afternoons in front of closed doors to the swimming pools. As well there was no-one to ask... Thanks to another guest, which happened to show up, told us a key code for the doors, which wasn't provided to us. Please improve that service and inform the house owners. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to Lagos which we really liked but also nice and peaceful when you want to be away. Did not golf but the course looks challenging.

Great accommodation and nice facilities - pool, spa & gym (can't speak about golf facilities as I don't play). Awful experience with staff who by admission of the resort were drunk at 10am. There are plenty of other resorts in the Algarve which are more pleasant.

This hotel is an American style golf resort populated by nice expensive homes for full time residents, and townhomes for guests. While the townhomes are nice (apart from the poor internet connection and minor plumbing issues), the wall shared with the other unit is ridiculously thin. As such, if you're on a family vacation and you would like to get some sleep at night, you had better hope that your neighbors are up to the same. If not, their partying will be your partying, as it will literally feel like they are in your living room. We lost many hours of sleep due to this, which is not great when you're on vacation. But the biggest beef I have is an altogether different one. When I booked, I was lured by the name amenities splashed all over the property description. Things like indoor and outdoor pools, football field, tennis, archery, gyms, etc. Well, it turns out that these facilities are either not there (like archery), only available for extra fees (like one hour at the indoor pool for 6 euros a head, and by reservation), or they are being rented to private companies for extra profit, thereby being unavailable to the guests. For example, the football field, which my son and I wanted to use, was taken by outside people for the entire morning we went, so we could not play at all. This sort of double dipping at the expense of paying guests is as upsetting as the smug responses I received when I brought my disappointment to the staff. Along with the total lack of privacy and quiet as per above, we are not coming back.

Played golf. Good reception & changing room facilities. Golf course busy but on-course marshalls maintained pace of play. Good condition. Good bar facilities and services.

Luxury apartments in a really quiet and nice complex. 2 bedrooms dishwasher washer spotless clean it’s a perfect quiet place the pool is never full and really clean and large I would say hire a car as it’s so easy to drive around. The health spar as an indoor pool plus gym and is fairly prices children up to 17 half price who ever gave this place a bad review must be crazy as it’s a 10 out of 10 for me

Great location, fantastic staff and beautiful spacious, well equipped apartment. The entire Boavista complex is very well maintained with a great looking golf course (unfortunately I didn't get the chance to play) and pools located within the various apartment complexes. Our family had a great stay and really appreciated the extra touch of a bottle of fizz and card on my birthday. I would not hesitate in giving this a 5* review if it wasn't for the fact the apartment walls and front door appear to be made of paper! You can hear every word and door slams from the neighbouring apartments echoing around as if they are in your own. On two consecutive nights we were woken by loud doors slamming and noise and I had to go out of my apartment front door and politely (kind of) ask our neighbours to keep the noise down as it was after midnight....not ideal when you have a sleeping young family. Apart from this I can't fault the resort and would not hesitate to head back again (praying for more courteous neighbours).

Very beautiful place. The apartments were precious and were cleaned everyday. The spa facilities are great and you need to book 3-4 days in advance. The only downside is that the location is out of the town and you need to have your own car. Not accessible by public transport.

Stayed on the resort for more than a week and it was wonderful. The rooms are quite modern and you can find everything you want. The place was really quiet and we could relax as much as we wanted without being bothered. The room service was also excellent and on one day when we put the do not disturb sign, we got a message from the reception telling us that we can go and ask for fresh towels at the reception in case we need them. The only downside would be that there is a few km to Lagos and if you don't have a car it can be quite difficult to get an Uber to come to the location.

Its a 7 minute drive to Lagos old town. The rooms were very spacious but the wifi was not the best. The staff were super nice!

Well priced room, very good sized. Good for a bigger group of people and if you have a car you can park in front of your unit

Great resort. We stayed with 3 families, kids had a lot of fun at the swimming pool. The food at the local restaurant is good. I'm giving it 4 stars, as the 5 star quoting for the resort is a bit overrated. For 5 stars I am expecting that little extra, which was lacking.

What a beautiful resort is Boavista Golf & Spa. A true Portugese golf tranquility. To rent a an apartment is amazing. Beautiful clean apartment. They clean it every day. There is a restaurant where you can order a pizza. There is a swimming pool and an area to lay in the sun. A true 5 stars resort. The staff was nice and friendly. You can park the car in front of your apartment.

I played a rpund of golf here in Septmber. Friendly staff. Challengung golf course but mainly because of wind. Lots of construction around the fairways , i played on Sunday so no interference with my game but i can imagine it is noisy during the week. Well kept fairways however greens were poorly maintained with butnt spots everywhere. Putts ineverably jump and wobble. Hard to putt. See pics.

Lovely apartment and outside gardens kept very well. What I think is lacking is a convince store as the place is so big and you have to drive to nearest shop.

The course is really well maintained and challenging. Green fee is very reasonable, even on the low end for the Algarve. Friendly staff. Could use a couple more beverage carts though. Wear sunscreen

The facilities are great and very spacious. I booked for 4 people and it's absolutely more than enough. The downside is that it's far from the town and without a car is difficult to get there or leave. Ubers are not reliable. Another thing is that they just provided 3 capsules of coffee and they don't sell u or provide more, telling u to get more from the store in town...

Nice place. Looks new with the latest equipment in each Villa. All rooms have Air conditioning. Parking area in front of the villa for two cars. 5 swimming pools , large gardens yo walk. A restaurant also available and the food was good. Swimming pool at the top sometimes gets too full but down the bottom is quiet and has two children's swimming pool. Lots of areas also for children to play. Secure and well looked after. We enjoyed and we will return. TVs are a little too small for the size of the rooms. But all in all a great place..

All AC have Bad smell. During the day they are constructing / relocating with a lot of noise. Outside pools are NOT heated. It is not a 5 stars acommodation at all. They also charge to use the spa facilities (gym, inside pool, etc) - 6 euro Per day for each person. Hard to play golf when they have tournaments.

Apartments are very clean, nice, spacious. Location is a bit out, but we have a car to travel around. You have to pay extra for indoor swimming pool, which we were not informed of!

Great round of golf. Lovely course and in great condition. Lots of picturesque holes. We got our tee time mixed up and arrived a bit late but the staff managed to fit us in. Great service as always. Thank you very much

😐 This was a super nice restaurant, good food and fish. The waiting line was long but moved quickly. All good food wise BUT the one big disappointment was however the conditions of the dog. 👍👍 I had a seafood dinner after sunset at Antonio, and I tried Chef’s Hake Fillet, it was really delicious! This is the first time in life that I had hake, which is not readily available in the U.S. and China. Highly recommended!
