I enjoyed the trip but felt the entertainment and meals and hotels were poor. I have been on a trip to Vietnam and China with On The Go and this wasn’t a patch on them. Tour was very good, definitely "On the Go" and kept us busy. Good mixture of well known (Taj, Varanasi) and unexpected places - forts, temples. Hotels were all very good, some top class. Alok was excellent. Top marks for keeping group together and moving.

Our guide Ravi was excellent; he was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited, was approachable and accommodating of our needs, helped to facilitate any necessary communication and services at each site, and gave great recommendations for food and optional activities.

We were a large group of 9 from UK, travelling for a week with our excellent tour guide and driver Ankush. He was kind, friendly and very informative. He always stopped at clean Dhabbas and restaurants during our long 6 or 7 hour drives. I thoroughly recommend him. Minibus was clean, new looking with superb suspension and WiFi.

I absolutely loved everything about the tour. We were well looked after from stepping off the plane to re boarding. Accomodation was excellent everywhere we stayed. Our stay at the Exotic Marigold was magical. Our guide Sammi was the best, nothing was too much trouble and he organised a few extra things we showed interest in. Amazing Tour Loved it. Want to come back and do the tour again but this time during the festival of lights. Superb Tour Leader, Sat was the best ever tour guide, very easy to talk to, approachable, understandable. Also our Coach/Bus Driver 'Goldie' is what he told us to call him, was a great driver, not once did I feel uneasy in that madness of traffic, and also Manjeet who helped Goldie with the Coach/Bus, he was very friendly, and always kept the coach/bus clean and tidy(even after we celebrated Holi, felt sorry for Manjeet this day). All and All absolutely thrilled and cant wait to get back.”

The company selects proper cars, good drivers and experienced guides, some are better than others like in any company, but generally speaking these guides know the sights well. I have dealt on both occasions with Mr Rajinder Dhar, the Sr. Vice President and found him responsive and flexible to adjust the itinerary to my particular wishes. Most memorable... our driver, Vinky, quickly recognise what we were most interested in. He took us for lunch to roadside restaurants/ cafes, workmen's eating places where we had the most wonderful food you could hope for...freshly cooked, spicy, full of flavour. He also got us a bicycle rickshaw ride, tuk-tuk ride … all without us thinking of it but such great fun. Rajakkad Estate was delightful … we would happily have stayed longer. The walk round the estate with Sudhan as our guide, showing us the birds, animals and plants, was something that we will always remember.Thanks A S
