We had wonderful service here. A huge po boy here could feed 2 at a great price. Wonderful breakfast. Each time we come here it does not disappoint!

Run from this place. Food was cold and nasty and service was just as bad. We didn't finish our food or even worry about complaining because it probably wouldn't of done any good. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

We were looking to try a new spot for breakfast and stumbled upon Pitt Grill. The food was excellent, and the portions were big, for a small price! we couldn’t even finish it, but it was delicious! Our waitress was really friendly as well. We will be going back!

This was the first restaurant I tried in Lake Charles. At first glance of the building, I thought it was shut down because there’s damage to the name on the building and the parking lot was completely empty on a Saturday at 6 PM. The inside was very clean though and smelled like fresh paint. The lady up front wasn’t very hospitable. I had the Bubba Poboy and chicken & sausage gumbo. The fries were very bland (it’s impressive to have bad fries, that should be the easiest item to fix), the bubba poboy is a BBQ sandwich. The only good thing I can stay is it’s a big portion size but the flavor just wasn’t there. Same for the gumbo, it was a decent size but it’s lacking flavor. Overall, I would recommend going somewhere else or trying something different on the menu.

went there for weekday lunch. large menu selection front and back. sweet tea good and rue to gumbo good. a lot of meat although chunky chicken breast meat in it was tough. server had a personality. food okay. i’m surprised only a few patrons there during lunch time. descent clean place to eat. went back for lunch second day in a row. limited indoor local dining due to hurricanes and covid. breakfast meal was descent. pancakes fluffy but cold. today the place was full of customers. consistently good food and service. i recommend. went there three days in a row.

I go here every Sunday to have breakfast with my dad, brother, sister and niece. While all the servers are great Michelle is our favorite. The food is always good.

The four of us just left, and it was really great! The atmosphere was fun and casual. Service was really great. Our waitress was fast, kind, helpful, and willing to give us a recommendation when we asked. The food was amazing. Fresh and plentiful. We got exactly what we asked for, and it was so good. The prices are good as well. DEFINITELY going back again, and you should as well!

Stopped in for breakfast and had a pleasent experience. Wait to get seated wasn't long at all. Waitress was very nice and quick to refill drinks and take away dirty dishes. Food was good. I ordered the Buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. Sweet Tea was good and not too sweet. I would definitely go back again.

Not too impressed to be honest. Ordered biscuits and gravy Basic bagged papper gravy premade pkg biscuits, ordered a very over med eggs cant stand the white snot & sausage links got a very runny egg and not warm links. Had to order Hashbrowns to be able to eat eggs. Now when you are in the mood for a cup of coffee you want a CUP OF COFFEE these cups are so small I wonder if its even a 4oz cp 3 good drinks and your out. Should have drove to Jennings or Sulphur.

Table is wet. See waitress holding the coffee pot in the mouth not in the handle. Grits not hot and dry. Toast is saggy. Order bacon in the side(only 3 tiny pcs bacon for $3.99). Corn beef hash taste cooked outside only(I taste like corn beef in a canned).

If I lived in Lake Charles, I'd come here every week. Some of the best food I've ever eaten, very friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Next time I head east, I'll definitely go through Lake Charles to eat here again

OmGG!!! We had an awesome experience. Janie was our waitress and she served all of our very picky family of 9 adults with a smile. The food was great, tasty and we had a variety of dishes. Keep up the great service Janie, you truly shine ✨️. The food was the best.

Price for food avg. Food quality / taste below average. Reminds me of breakfast i had in a truck stop in Southern Colorado. Bland but edible. A little Tony's / slap your mama would do them great . The young man who was the one who seated us a lot of potential. Handled customers like a pro can't be older than 13 . It's not a bad place. I just would like a little flavor.

Food is usually good and we always get fast service when we come here! Please do better though, don't lie and say there's no ice cream when another server says there is ice cream. We keep asking for it but she always says no and gives me a lemon cake instead. Last time we were there we had a different waitress and they did have it but this time I wasn't hungry for it. Tell the truth from now on!

Upon walking in I noticed a sign that stated wait to be seated. No one greeted me until someone behind the cash register asked if I needed anything. Once seated I ordered chicken and waffles, which means Chicken tenders and waffles. After getting my food no one checked on me for about 20 minutes. Picture below is a real depiction of what chicken and waffles are supposed to look like. Not even close to the chicken and tenders served at the location.

I guess they were not prepared for the number of patrons on Dec 27th. It seemed as if no one really had a defined role, and it was chaos. We both ate the breakfast special--eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy-- and we were there for over an hour. The manager needs to step up and manage. The waitress was not very friendly. They were definitely understaffed. We will probably go back since it's really the only restaurant in the area, but not going to be at the top of our list. We go to LC to have an adults' getaway about once a month.

The best thing about Pitt Grill isn’t even the food, which is fantastic by the way. The young man greeting you at the door as well as behind the register is simply a joy to meet.

Nostalgic reasons brought me here this morning. It did not leave me disappointed at all. I recommend anyone any age, any preferences to try this restaurant, and the service is above and beyond, just bring a smile. And of course your wallet. LoL

Looks were deceiving. We are out of town and Googled a random place. The food was excellent as well as the service. Great prices! Atmosphere was clean and quiet!

I was greeted immediately upon entering th restaurant and seated. The waitress was courteous, respectful bringing my order in a timely fashion as her section was quite busy. The whole experience was flawless.

The food is average. Not too good to recommend. However, their hospitality is really good, that's why it gets 4 stars from me.

We visited and dined-in Pit Grill during the weekend. Dennys had an extremely long wait time and Golden Corral was closed due to electrical issues. We had a group of 10. The breakfast wait time was about 10mins. The order wait time was satisfactory. The staff was courteous. The atmosphere was pleasant. Menu prices were very reasonable. Our hostess, Jeorgie, was great and helpful. The food was good. However, the pancakes were flat & tough vs. light & fluffy ~ they seemed to be missing "baking powder". I would give the restaurant another visit.

When placing our order, it was a turn off. Waitress said the owner absolutely would not accommodate switching out the bacon for a slice of bread. Cold, undercooked, flavorless, eggs, cold biscuits and gravy, cold sausage and pancakes:-( Never again. What a waste of money. The waitress was not friendly, and didn't seem to care. This is disappointing.

The service was good and respectable, took a little long for the food, but overall nice service. However the French Toast was PHENOMENAL!!! Exceptional French toast! It's totally worth stopping by just for some.

We were promptly greeted by a friendly waitress. When we sat the lady that would be our waitress was not pleasant! The food came out cold and under cooked so we had them remove what we didn’t want. When we were paying I asked our waitress if she was having a good day and was told “no”, and my reply was sorry. She informed me that it was her last day and just didn’t care!

Like walking into an old small town Cafe, service was fast and efficient, waitress was very Polite and attentive. The food was excellent, good flavor and quality. Good value and prices. Definite 5 Forks here.

Was open early before I had to head out to the port which was good as many other places were closed. The staff were friendly, the coffee kept flowing and the food decent. There were a bunch of locals in there before setting off to work, so that's always a good measurement of a place if they have consistent locals!
