The theater was clean and well kept. The concession counter was ...odd? It seemed to be running smoothly, however there was a tall very imposing woman watching over the employees like they were criminals. She wasn't friendly at all. She didn't engage with customers. She only stood there like it was an intimidation tactic. Her presence made the employees seem nervous and not upbeat and personable. I didn't even feel like ordering anything! She had the demeanor of a prison guard. I thought the idea of getting concession food was to be engaging and make customers feel welcome. As a local I come here often, for almost every major release. First off I don’t understand why there is someone checking your tickets as right as you walk in as if I didn’t just buy them outside. Dude touching all on my phone as if germs don’t exist but okay. As I said I come here often but as of late the kitchen has been slacking. No real problems other than the last 3 visits, my order has had issues on all 3 occasions. As a monopoly in the area, they will not be motivated to make changes here.

I love the mobile app and the ability to order your snacks and drinks to your seat when you arrive. Incredible service, the comfiest chairs, and flexible show times.

Comfy, cozy movie experience (you can even bring your own blanket!) The food is great, too, if you want something more substantial than plain, movie theatre junk food! Your food is delivered to your seat and you can cuddle up to watch! All around a fantastic theatre and very clean; the employees are all so sweet, too. Highly recommend choosing this as your local go to for new films!

It's worth a bit extra for the reclining loungers and dedicated seating. The picture and sound are good also. The food is ordered and brought to you, and it's much better than typical movie snacks. You're going to pay for the creature comforts, so expect that.

There is absolutely no way I’d work here again with the manager I worked with . He is rude and never does his job while the lobby is busy! He will go on his phone and sip his drink in the back and if new people need help “you can do it yourself”, not good management. Also the training sucks! The managers will all say something different each one and downgrade us employees! A lot of the workers don’t even train properly and the people they get to train barely do train. Worst company I have worked for and I wouldn’t work here again.

Their policies suck. Everyone was super nice tho. Im 15 and me and my sibling tried to go in to watch Elemntal at 10:10 pm. and we couldn’t get in bc we didn’t have ids.

Very clean place and surprisingly decent prices for a cinema. Reclining seats to relax in after you order your food and they bring it to you so you don't have to miss the show.

I bought two tickets today and $ 50 on food. Went in to the movie and realized the popcorn was stale. I brought the bucket full of popcorn to the front desk and explained that it was stale and could I get some fresh. Nope. You will have to pay for it. Loud and clear. Y’all may want to train the workers a bit more. Ruined the movie for me.

Lots of employees to make the experience great. Food is high priced, but part of the experience. Only downside is obnoxious guests who ruin the experience by being loud during the movie or playing on their cell phones causing distractions. The theater has no control over this.

Really nice movie bistro. Brought my wife to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie. We shared the chicken bacon wrap with fries, and it was surprisingly really good. The theater felt clean, and the reclining chairs were really comfortable. We look forward to returning for another movie!

My favorite spot to go to the movies in Lake Charles!! Comfortable spacious reclining seats. Usually clean bathrooms. Buy your seats ahead of time and you know exactly where you are sitting. They need to stop trying to sell fancy named foods if their just cooking it in the microwave.

Love watching movies here, we won't go anywhere else. I ordered food and received the wrong food but I had waited so long and was hungry so I ate it anyway without complaining since I already had to go find my food to begin with. I survived to tell about it but it was dark in the theater and I didn't realize that it was the wrong food until I took the first bite and then it was too late. That is my only complaint and it is not a true complaint.

Wonderful experience. Loved the reclining seats and the choices of food and drinks. I saw a 3D movie and was so impressed with the quality. The bathrooms and theater was clean . All around great experience.

Watched Oppenheimer here a while back. The pre-ordering of food and tickets online made things a lot easier, and the food was pretty decent, just overpriced for what it was. The movie itself was great but they had the speakers on WAY too loud, to the point where I had to excuse myself from my date multiple times in the middle of the movie and miss out on a good chunk of it because I couldn't take how loud it was, and they thought it was pretty loud as well. At least 8 other people from different groups had also left the theatre room well before the movie was over for unknown reasons.

Our cinema had AC issues and the staff offered a Free guest pass to those who were too hot. Fortunately, we found it comfortable and it felt like the AC issue was non-existent. Great customer service and we enjoyed the movie.

What happened to the management? Cinemark Bistro at Lake Charles once was a well-maintained, clean, and comfortable place for me and my family to enjoy movies. Now, I’m seriously thinking about canceling my monthly renewal because my visits recently have been very disappointing. The theater in general, smells bad, the seats are worn and broken, and most of all, DIRTY. Seeing moldy and stinky cup holders was just the beginning. The tables were sticky, and the seats just smelled so bad, you don't even want to breathe in there. I see the problem is incompetent management. General staff members were friendly, however, one manager who was called upon by the staff for assistance was so rude and lazy. She made it so obvious that she was not happy to be bothered and had the attitude of how dare you make me come out of the back room. She even tried to lecture me (the customer). Lady, I don't work there. It is YOUR job to train your staff, not your customers. So, after learning about the management quality of Cinemark Bistro Lake Charles, it is not surprising anymore that it became such a low-quality theater now. Very sad. I don’t know if corporate even cares.

The staff was great. They were super friendly and at the end of visit, it was raining and there were two young men with rain gear and umbrellas. They made sure they walked everyone to their vehicles. They escorted my wife to the car and opened the door and helped her in after I drove to the curb. Awesome movie theater and look forward to more visits.

Was disappointed that we were there for 35 minutes before receiving a tub of popcorn and four drinks (that were to be delivered to our seats). 10 min into the movie, we still didn't have it. I finally got up to go find out what's taking so long and as soon as I get to the front, someone is ready to deliver it. Well, if you've watched The Sound of Freedom, you know the first 10-20 min is when things start happening and I missed it. And this was for the 10:40pm (Tuesday) showing so its not like it was busy. Very disappointed with the service.

I would’ve given a better review, if I actually got helped properly. I had free movie tickets on my phone via work, so I decided to go out with my boyfriend and his brother. Prior to even ordering anything, I had explained to the lady at the front about the tickets and barcode. She pretty much disregarded everything I said and explained. So when we finished ordering everything, the total came to about $100 (including tickets). I bring up the the free movie coupons again; and she tells me she has no idea what it was. She tries to scan it, but nothing’s working. She just shrugs her shoulders like “it’s outta my hands, I can’t help you” when I tried asking about it. I don’t know the cinemark computer systems, but I know for sure that the coupons have worked before on multiple occasions when I would use them. She didn’t even try and ask for help. She just seemed like she was trying to get us out of the way. Even when we asked questions about the food, she made quick comments and we ended up not enjoying the food we got. The movie was great, but the overall service and help I got was terrible. I’d rather go the extra mile and go to the cinemark at the mall.

Enjoyed our visit. Great, comfortable seats. Like being able to order food before we go to avoid the lines.

These chairs are PHENOMENAL, they literally recline and the popcorn was perfect, not too buttery. BUT the power did go out and didnt get to finish our movie and did not receive a coupon so a bit disappointed there

Be aware that there is now a butter shortage. Yes a butter shortage folks! If that's indeed the truth.... Anyway, I would have appreciated the rude girl telling me that due to this I wouldn't be able to have extra butter before she took my 10 bucks. After all I asked for extra when I ordered it and she didn't recall a butter shortage at that time. I would have saved the 10 dollars had I known. Just bad business

Would give it a five star but the bathrooms are beyond disgusting everything else is okay . I did order a pretzel one time and told the girl I thought it came with cheese she said no charges us and ended up having two cheeses 😳 the ladies bathroom was ridiculous

Our favorite theater locally. Delivery is always within 15 minutes of movie starting. Not a fan if their burgers, but the specialties like the loaded bacon cheese fries are pretty good. Grab a beer before you head in if you enjoy one off tap. Theater was clean every time we've been.

Better than watching at home! I felt like I was in the plane with Tom Cruise! (Just luckier than Goose) Always enjoyable, never had a bad time at the Bistro!
