No sheets for the pullout bed…. As I lay here in the pull out bed that was intended for my daughter, I was to have the king bed with my wife, I question how I ended up on a yellow stained mattress with a steel bar pressing into my back. Given I can’t sleep, here is my situation… Upon pulling out the bed from the couch to do a hasty bed bug check, I realized it would be a quick check, as there was no bed sheets on the pullout or in the room. No problem, I hopped into action and visited the evening clerk at the front desk assuming this would be quickly resolved. When I asked the evening desk clerk for sheets, this was clearly a grave inconvenience to the individual, or perhaps an annoyance, but who am I to question the emotions of another person I just met. The individual said they did not have access to them. When I seemed baffled by the clerk not having access to linens, the individual told me ‘that’s just the way it is’. This was starting to seem like a 3rd world country flop house. Kinda got the feeling… hey man it’s a Quality Inn what do you expect. Well… I kinda expect sheets on my bed or at least access to them so I can make if myself. My wife went down to the front desk and the desk clerk begrudgingly went to the laundry room and gave us a stack of sheets. When my wife asked for a blanket they looked again in the laundry room and said they did not have any. Let that sink in, they have sheets but no spare blankets. As we were walking away I did give a parting comment to express my frustration of having to make two trips to the front desk and I asked “if it was that hard to get the sheets”. My man went right to the edge of going off. He told is he can kick us out of the hotel, right off the get. I stated I was calling corporate, asked his name, I was told I didn’t need to know his name. That’s cool, if management is reading this, it’s your employee on duty tonight around 9pm. Corporate saved this from being a one star rating, so I lay here with one bottom sheet, two top sheets, 15 pillow cases (yes 15 cases, no pillows in them) and no mattress pad, on a yellow stained pull out mattress. BTW the Quality Inn in Richmond, KY. That’s a class act.

Honestly, out of all the hotels in the area, this one meets standards for me. The friendliness, price, cleanliness, and quality. I’ve stayed here twice the last month and both times my room was clean, staff was super friendly, the rates are awesome and affordable, and it’s fairly quiet in the early morning hours (as I like to sleep in). Currently, this is a great place. I will be back the next time my fiancé is in town.

The staff is very nice, the hotel on a whole is nice. There were just a few things that could be better. I think the cleaning crew needs to do a better job, there was so much dust in the room. The beds were good, they were very comfortable. It was quiet. All in all it was fine.

People, if you're looking for a charming place to stay, look no further. The room is slightly dated but spacious, very clean, quiet, very safe, and conveniently located close to numerous restaurants and other places to see. WAY TO GO QUALITY INN. I GIVE 5 STARS TO EVERYTHING (and I'm pretty hard to please). Also, I can't say enough about the staff. So friendly and helpful yet still very professional. Would like to give a special thank you to Chelsea at check-in.

The sweetest counter lady at check in/out, and some of the cleanest rooms. Spacious handicap rooms. The only downside was it didn’t have a walk-in shower, it had an actual tub. The beds are on the firmer side (we prefer firm). The fitness room could use some attention. The bike has no battery’s, so you can’t adjust the settings- because of that I couldn’t use it. I would of like to after a few hours of travel. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked maintained. There were plenty of food options close by. - we did not use the breakfast bar or see it.

Location was not far from town at all. Our room was cleaned and they even served us at 12:30 at night. Great breakfast bar too!

Recently my daughter stayed overnight at this location while traveling with her friend (and her friends family). Headed from SW Florida to Tennessee for the Bonnaroo Festival. My daughter accidentally left her wallet/purse behind at the Hotel. At the time she didn't even realize she had forgotten to repack it when they headed out the next day to finish their trip to Tennessee. My daughter and her friends family were contacted by Bob (manager). At this time they were already 3hrs from hotel. In essence the "point of no return". Aside from the usual personal items in a wallet/purse my daughters Asthma Inhaler was also in it. Bob INSTANTLY knew how important that was, especially considering she was about to spend a week camping at a farm in Tennessee. I contacted Bob and worked with him on getting the purse overnighted to their destination. He gathered my information and said he would text me a picture of the receipt from the UPS Store on his way home from work. YES, you read that correctly!! After a long day, Bob still took the time to stop by the UPS Store to take care of this situation. We of course are FOREVER grateful for this type of care and consideration he has for his guests and the reputation of his Quality Inn!!! Thank you Bob!! Stay Blessed my friend!!!

This was a very quiet and comfortable location. I arrived at 11:50pm and the lot was full. Driving a truck, this is usually a bad thing. Austin pointed out a spot for me that was in their lot and put me in a room right above my truck. I can’t comment on breakfast. I was sleeping so well, I slept right through it. 😁

The Choice Quality Inn @ Lake City, FL is NOT a good choice or good quality. This hotel has lost it bloom. The furniture is worn and does'nt appear to have been wiped clean for some period of time, dust on lamp bases, rust on doors. Additionally and most importantly; roaches. Small, however, still roaches. One in the sink, one crawling across the sheet during the night, one on the night stand in the morning and one seen crawling up a wall near the ceiling. Breakfast; extremely minimal food. At check out when the roach issue was described, the expression of being sorry about the experience was less than being sincere. I am a "Choice" member and have never had a room experience like this at any of the other Choice hotel brands.

The continental breakfast was standard if you like that. Coffee was not as tasty as I'd like. I liked the pool area. However, the exercise room was outdoors in a separate building with only 3 machines. I was not impressed with the fact that it was not attached to the hotel. The rooms were nice, but the bathrooms were small. I did not like that the sinks were not enclosed for privacy if you were in a room with other people. The service was awesome. Very kind and quick to help make your stay pleasant and that made it worth staying. One last thing, we did find a roach in our room, disgusting.

Pet friendly hotel right behind cracker barrel with decent rooms for an overnight stay. Clerk was extremely helpful and placed us on the first floor right next to the exit door to make it convenient for our dogs......we really appreciated that. But overall he was a great guy. We'll try to get the same room next time.

We needed a place to sleep for one night on a road trip. The management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and they actually had very nice sheets for the price point. I really don’t understand the bad reviews. I rarely leave a review, but this hotel was excellent in the quality to price ratio.

If you want to stay and much nicer hotels at a similar price, go across the freeway to the comfort Inn and true hotel. They are much much nicer. This place is a magnet for shady people as well. Dope smoking in the parking lot as well as in the rooms. The rooms are in pathetic shape as well. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again.
