Staff is the only thing saving this place. The hotel is trash. Moldy, dirty and in need of repairs. There is nothing around this hotel but 2 truck stops. Bathrooms are dirty. AC unit looks like it needed to be replaced years ago. Outside windows broken, parking lot full of potholes, rain gutters have plants growing in them. Mattress has stains.

The only reason this place even gets a star is because giving zero stars isn’t an option! This place is very run down from the parking lot and property to the rooms. The first room we checked in to had ants crawling everywhere on the tables and smelled of stale cigarette smoke and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly . We demanded another room and it wasn’t better. There weren’t ants but still not very clean, still smelled off, dog barking etc. then we asked in the morning if new sheets could be put on our kids bed and they said they had no house keeping. We asked for a sheet so we could put it on ourselves and we’re told no.. 😡😡😡 we stayed another night only because they already decided to charge us for another day! So annoying! We moved to the comfort inn across the highway and are much happier here!

Gross place. Hallway smells from a guy living in one of the rooms. He was saying some weird comments to the delivery women about her looks. I was scared to even walk past the room to mine. Didn't want him to know a woman was staying a few doors down. Thank god my man was with me. Our door handle was broken and not even locked, so we didn't even need the key. Not safe place to stay at all. The bed was terrible. Our backs and shoulders hurt a lot. Where the tiles and carpet meet had a sharp piece sticking out that stabbed my foot. Terrible! Breakfast was disappointing. I think they should just take the breakfast away so they dont waste their money on that. Use it on something else Will not stay here again. Positive note: The woman who worked at the front desk was nice and friendly 👍

Girl at front desk was wonderful but that's where it stops. Door handle on door don't work right, lights in room either don't work or falling apart ,shower is gross and room wasn't properly cleaned from prior person. Wouldn't stay again or recommend.

I stayed there for a bit over a week; that was not planned. The staff was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The whole time we were there it was so quiet and chill... aside from one weekend night when a roudy drunk person was causing problems, but thankfully he was expelled. How we came to stay there was that I became very ill while traveling and made an emergency stop for what I thought would just be the night, but I was too sick to move the next day... My husband and I were stranded in Hebron because our car also began to malfunction once I was able to travel again which we discovered on a pharmacy run. My only complaint about our stay there is that food options are very limited if you can't go far and have to rely on delivery. If you opt for the Denny's be sure to show your room key and ask for the 10% discount. Be cautious to walk around at night... it is a bit sketchy and creepy if you try to walk to the McDonald's. For delivery I recommend the Pizza Hut or Subway... and note that the Denny's does not deliver, even though it is an option on their website. The only bad part about the stay in the room is that the water smells of rust and does not have a consistent warm temperature. The bed was incredibly comfortable! If the staff reads this thank you for your help... we enjoyed our time there despite the poor circumstances:)

We stayed here a couple times while working out of town and it was okay until this lady at the front desk accused me and my Dad stealing their pillows and that we couldn't stay there because of it. This is of course a total lie, I make over 30$ an hour and don't need to steal some dirty old hotel pillows. If I could give a zero star for this place I would due to being ran by liars

Had no complaints. Friendly staff. Room was in good condition. When checking in, the lady informed me that they don't let people check in if their ** home address is within 50 miles of the hotel**. Just a good tidbit of info to know. Apparently some locals have ruined it for everybody else.

I can’t say enough about the customer service here- the staff are so approachable, down to earth, and friendly. Nikki was so helpful and I couldn’t be more thankful for her help. It’s an affordable place with comfortable rooms- I’m only here for a one time work event, but if I have to return to the area again, this will be the place I stay at.

I was delivered to this motel on 7-23 by the tow truck driver after an accident on the interstate. I wish I could remember the name of the front desk lady who was so kind! She saw that I had been brought there because of an accident and that I was upset. She found a nice room for my dog and I and reassured me that I was now in a safe and quiet location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi was good and there was even a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Thank you Super 8 front desk lady!

Rooms smelled clean and beds seemed clean and were semi comfortable. The bathroom was horrible. Corners and around toilet didn’t seem like it’s been cleaned in forever. Possibly mold in shower and ceiling. Whole bathroom needs to be redone.

I don’t know her name but 04/15 @ at around 2ish pm. God bless her soul, super nice lady able to give me a room. This place respects truckers. Give that lady a raise. Clean place.

I showed up without a reservation very late at night, but they were able to find a room for me. This is one of the cleanest super8 I have stayed at. Morning coffee was fresh. I had a very pleasant experience. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I am wheelchair bound and tried getting room was refused. Was told by clerk that I was not allowed to stay due to being local. I explained I live in Florida and have an Indiana license and had drove all night and needed rest they offered to call the police. This place is rude and refuses service to anyone who has local ID even active duty service members are refused. Help me to put this business on the do use list.

One of the best hotels I stayed at! I will definitely stay again The lady at the counter (Nicky) was awesome, very polite and professional!

First off, Nikki is awesome! Anyone that says otherwise, I'll go the distance to prove you wrong! Customer service is number 1. This is not the Chicagoland area hospitality but better than the deep south! The workers here have gone beyond the upmost kindness we have ever experienced. We thank the super 8 staff for everything they have done to make us feel at home. We are so glad we found this location!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside, lobby, breakfast area, and room were super clean. Beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was a selection of yogurt, toast, oatmeal, juice, and prepackaged cinnamon rolls. Coffee was excellent. Would stay here again!

I can't put into words of the staff that check us in. The following staff: Front desk: Toni, Rebeeca, Niki, Elizabeth and Haley. Housekeeping: Misty, Emma, Andrea, Emily, Elissa. Yes, all female staff, and, boy, do they get it done!

It was a very nice stay. I am a day sleeper, and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Absolutely the best people running this place, they go above and beyond to help make you feel like your at home and supported after a long day of trucking. Really clean, not even a hair in the bathroom. Sure things are not in the best of conditions... just old wear and tear... but they are updating. I feel like I would travel out of my way to stay here.

  • 4/5 David M. 1 year ago on Google
Acceptable place to stay if traveling. It is not updated and not the best of hotels I have stayed in. The room was quite small. The staff is very friendly and the hot water comes out instantly! All in all not a bad place to stay but it is on an Interstate in the middle of nowhere.

I stayed for three nights and each one was great. The employees are very nice and I love that they have truck parking and good rates for truck drivers. If I'm in the area for a 34 again I will be staying here!

If I could I'd give zero stars. My husband and I stayed on 8-6-22 to 8-8-22. We were charged over a thousand dollars. They refunded it to our account right after, but our account was overdrawn because of them. We didn't get our money til 5 days after they refunded it. I asked to speak to the manager. She never called me. Two days after I asked I called and got her only Because she answered the phone. She was very rude. Told me that she gave my number to the owner and said he'd call me when he felt like it. I have fees I have to pay due to their incompetence. Also the owner never called. There was hair in the shower, in the sink, on the toilet, on the sheets and pillowcase. The room wasn't dusted stuff on the floor. For some reason there was a stick on the windowsill. They parking lot is full of potholes. Some are so big you can damage your axel if you weren't paying attention. I would never stay here again. I would never recommend this hotel either.

Nice gal did our reservation. Room as weird...had a jacuzzi in the place of a second bed! Cobwebs in the corner. Spider dropped down from ceiling. Potholes in driveway were huge. Most disappointing part was the "breakfast." 2 pieces of bread in a baggie, cheap prepackaged cinnamon roll , granola bars, and yogurt and instant oatmeal. Juice dispenser. Not a breakfast at all. No cereal or waffles, milk.. Cheapest Super 8 quality wise. Staff apologized for the broken outdoor access doors. Unfortunately, with the severe lack of affordable hotels in the area, it is what it is. We'd stay again to save money, but factor in the cost of going to Denny’s next door to the room rate. Again, staff was super nice. The services, not the service, were the disappointing factor here.

It's clean. Tv on a lot of channels was kinda fuzzy. No frills and good price. Don't let 3 stars fool ya..it's just average. Need a place to crash I'd book a room again, if your looking for a bit more comfort? Well that's on you now. Their computer chair was really comfy though and desk was big enough so business folks looking on the cheap this isn't bad.

All the door locks were broke outside. And the room door locks you had to wiggle to lock. So when you leave room please double check to be sure it locks. The outside doors locked but you could not get back in them. Only the lobby entrance doors you could enter through. Parking lot has huge pot holes.

I stayed here a few months ago and it was exactly what I expected. If you need a room, a hot shower, and breakfast, go here. It's cheap, it's clean, they got WiFi, and the ladies that I believe were in charge were very nice. I'd check in again.

Awesome front desk staff. Coin laundry available. Lobby coffee was great. Breakfast was a joke. Housekeeping and exterior maintenance was not up to par. Parking lot has more potholes than a Michigan highway. I didn't feel unsafe, but some might feel that way?

the ladies that work here really go out of there way to make u feel welcome. you can tell that the motel is completely ran by a close nite group of ladies. after being there a week you can tell that the ladies at the front desk ware many hats seen where they were attempting to even do maintenance which they should really have a maintenance tech. you can tell they are trying to do whatever it takes for the customers. only negative is the breakfast was very limited.

We stayed at this hotel because it was near our reunion. We got there and had terrible service from the front desk. When we got to our room at reeked of cigarette smoke, and the carpeting and floor corners were dirty. Unfortunately, we were not able to find a local affordable hotel to switch. Fortunately, the bed was clean and comfortable, the shower was clean, they had hot water, and the sink was clean. The first night we tried to switch rooms, but no one was attending the front desk, and our 4 personal phone calls to the front desk went on answered. The phone in the room had a broken connector and did not function so we were unable to make an in house call. We did report our issues to the front desk the next morning. They indicated the smoker upstairs had checked out and that the phones were in the process of being replaced. No action was taken. The cigarette smell continued, however, and upon checking out, we went to our sons house and had to wash all of our clothes, including those in the suitcase. We usually are content with super eight hotels, but this one doesn’t even deserve the designation. Avoid it at all costs.

Rooms smell terrible. Staff are rude. I highly recommend you stay at the Comfort Suites that's right across the street from this dump.
