Came here 2 times during our week long stay in lake George. The first time we got the two meat plate. Very good, perfect portions where we did not leave hungry at all. The second time we got the mac n cheese. It was good and filling as well. We also enjoyed their beers and frozen cocktail each night. Service was good, our waitress the first night (can’t remember her name) was very attentive and checked on us multiple times. I would recommend. We came at 4:30 each night and left satisfied and full each night by 5:15.

We had the half chicken with sides of beans and coleslaw and the 3 meat medley with baby back ribs, pulled brisket and chicken sausage with corn on the cob and Mac and cheese as the sides. Everything was good. Not the best smoked meat we have ever had but very tasty indeed. There was a gentleman playing guitar with a wonderful selection of easy going and mellow music. Perfect for the atmosphere.

We had a great meal tonight! My daughter loved the wings & half a chicken. My son had a great burger. My husband enjoyed spare and baby back ribs. The pulled pork & green bean fries were excellent, however the brisket wasn't as tender as I like it. It still tasted delicious, though! The cornbread was, hands down, the BEST I've ever had!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Barnsider on 7/13/23, as I found the food and service to be superb. I had 6 of the bone-in chicken wings in a mild sauce, which were juicy and tender. Also, I had Sliced BBQ brisket with French fries and sautéed vegetables. The brisket tasted good and was moist and tender. Our waitress provided excellent service and answered any questions that we had. The decor was cool, too.

Got a table on the deck which was nicely shaded. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were so big I ate until I was stuffed and still brought home enough for another meal. We will definitely come back next time we're in town.

Not bad. Good little place to eat. Was almost off season when we stopped. Food tool a while to come out. Did not have rye for the Ruben I ordered so it wasn't the best

Went to lunch here on Memorial Day. Had the big Tex brisket patty melt with mac & cheese and fries. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was Megan and she was excellent. The right amount of friendly & attentive. Had a great conversation with us about Lake George and talked with us about the different menu options. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for authentic barbecue, this is not the place. The food isn’t bad, the homemade barbecue sauce is good, but the ribs were a little dry and overcooked. The meat didn’t fall off the bone, were not flavorful, nor were they served hot. However, I did like how the cornbread and coleslaw were light in flavor/texture. I also liked the rustic setting/outdoor seating but the High 2-person table was a bit uncomfortable and made it difficult to eat. Overall, Friendly staff and short wait time.
