Really enjoyed this place, for many reasons. First, the menu is great, there's a wide array of dishes available. I opted for the wood fired pizza and it was really delicious, I was very pleased with our choices. Second, the staff here is wonderful. I dined at the bar and had a chance to talk to several of the staff; they were all friendly and knowledgable- I really appreciated this. Third, the owner came over and chatted with me and asked me how my meal was, that's uncommon and it's a mark of a good establishment. Finally, Gaslight has a great, accessible, location and a really warm and interesting atmosphere. Check it out when you're in Lake George, I believe you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great place with great food, and not expensive.

I cant say enough about how impressed I am with my families experience with the staff. Great food, great beer and great with kids! There was an issue with the pizza for my son (6 years old) so the one making the pizza had to make new one causing a delay. I can appreciate wanting to put your best out there so this was perfectly fine. She brought my son to the counter to watch his pizza get made in the fired pizza oven. He interacted with cook and the server which was a perfect distraction. We are easy to please and never complain, and without even a blink she made my son feel important and excited for his pizza. We had a blast! A big thank you to our server who went above and beyond! You are the reason we will be back for dinner each night we are here!

Had a wonderful dinner with drinks here after a long motorcycle ride. This is right on the main drag. We sat outside in front and even though it was our waitresses first day she did a wonderful job.

Good place. Food was good. Interesting dishes if you want to experiment. Best part was the live music. We got a good table close to the music. Staff was friendly and service was great.

We dined here last night, and had a wonderful dinner. Natasha our server was outgoing, professional and very attentive. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. Excellent, and wished there was more! Dan is a master pizza chef! We ordered the Thai Chicken Chili Pie & Buffalo Chicken Pie. Both were excellent, and Dan followed up after it arrived at our table to make sure we were enjoying our wood fired pies. Everyone is a team player who works here, and the customer benefits!

Worst dining experience ever. Walked by the previous night... seemed to have good music, good atmosphere, and a good menu, but if you can sit thru screaming bachlorette parties and disrepsectful bartenders, you won't be disappointed. You can't even have a normal conversation over the shreiking and chanting. And when you say something, the bartender, who has only been doing shots with the drunk patrons, tries to make you leave the restaurant for being rude to the young drunkies. Kudos for the owner who came over and tried to find out what the issue was, but shame on him for letting his bar staff drink on the job. Absolute WORST dining experience ever in my 52 years of age. And I hope those 8 girls mothers are proud of them and proud of all the guys theyve slept qith and made out with this year, we heard anout them all... oh, but they were just trying to have fun in front of 2 tables with children under the age of 8.

One of the best places to eat. A nice tight menu with awesome flavors... The scallops were outstanding... As was the steak special.... Our server Gabby was sweet and attentive without being overbearing.. Server excellence!

Oh. My. God. I cannoooottttt say enough good things about this place. The incredible food aside, the staff was top-notch. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and every single recommendation was on point. From the wait staff to the bartender and cook staff, every one of them was amazing and even our picky pants kids loved everything we had. Can I do more than 5 stars please??

I had no idea we would be eating like kings but it happened! Amazing food and an unexpectedly creative menu, I brought my kids but you could easily have a romantic date night here or bring a group of friends. 5 Stars for this LG restaurant

My husband and I were in town celebrating our 10yr wedding Anniversary and didn't know that for dinner reservations are popular around town. We came here on a whim hoping to get a table and the wonderful server Natasha was friendly and able to seat us on the patio that was enclosed and super warmer with the heaters. We had a few drinks, the stretched Andy appetizer bread to start and then we both had the 12oz NY strip and everything was fantastic! The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and the grilled zucchini was wonderful. My husband pretty much liked his plate clean it was that good!! Our server was very busy as we heard her say short staff, but she was attentive and excellent! The food was delicious and in the future we will be back for sure!

Ok so my experience here was a mixed bag. Food was GREAT, nice ambience, but I don't know if I went there on an exceptionally busy night. Had to wait so long for entrees that we took our food and left. I'm willing to give em another try if I'm back in Lake George. Covid makes everything more difficulty and I'm rooting for em.

07/30/2022 My wife and I stopped in for dinner while in Lake George for the day. The menu options were plenty and interesting and the prices were very acceptable. Our dinner experience started out less than perfect, however the manager and some of his staff COMPLETELY stepped up to redeem the establishment! Our meals were delicious and despite the situation we will definitely not hesitate to return here for a meal when we are in the area again.

The worst dinners we had spending a long weekend in Lake George. Tasteless or too salty depending on what you order. The online menu is not accurate. Very limited choices once you're at the restaurant. Also, too dark. We couldn't read our menu. However, our waitress was very attentive and personable.

We went on Yelp to check this place out first, and some Yelpers complained about slow service, which made us hesitate to try it out. We found out it to be a slow experience here as well. However, the quality of our food, our great server, and the relaxing atmosphere made it definitely worth the wait. Who really is in a hurry when they go to Lake George anyway? I think there are a lot of whiners who flock to Yelp for some reason, and they need to give these establishments a break for crying out loud. We are in the middle of a pandemic! Will definitely go back when we visit Lake George again!

Quaint little find out on our bike today, our waiter was super sweet! Our food was delicious, cooked well, seasoned well and my Mimosa Flight was delightful!

Great food, good outdoor setting and good service. The chicken béchamel pizza and the arugula-avocado-feta salad were outstanding.

We arrived at 7:30pm on a Sunday and there was no Pizza available. Posted closing time (at least online) is 10pm. Decided to stay and order anyway. Food was pretty solid but took awhile considering there were only 4 tables with customers at them and 2 had already been served. Service was mediocre, restrooms were not clean and at about 8:20pm (remember online hours said open until 10) they turned away a table of ten that looked like they could eat. Had to be at least a $300 check and they sent a busboy to tell the group the kitchen was closed. Perhaps that was the owner's call but I suspect not. If I were the owner I'd be ticked.

We were taken care of by the lovely Alex, who was prompt and so sweet —the hostess allowed us to have a drink at the bar while we waited for our table, and we loved the bartender and the delicious grilled pineapple margaritas! A nice hidden gem of a place right on the strip in beautiful Lake George, New York definitely I must try nice atmosphere. Good, nice, clean restaurant. It was very busy, but service was actually. The food was amazing and the menu simple but great. Definitely, one of the great spots to eat in Lake George with a gorgeous view of the Lake. The servers were very attentive and the restaurant was check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Tasty food, friendly service, and a great beer list including some local selections. They have excellent socially distanced outdoor seating, unlike a lot of places in the area.

Drinks are good here. They can accommodate my food allergy. Pizza.and mussels were good. The fried gnocchi not so much.. Supposed to have bacon and cheese in it..and I was excited for them..but they have no taste of cheese and bacon and our friends agreed. When I cut a bunch of them open it didn't look to have any cheese or bacon either on it..I was told it's mixed in..🤔...but they gladly exchange them for fries which was good.

Best clam chowder we ever had.

When I was looking online for the best restaurants in Lake George, this place kept coming up on the list. With that, I made this my very first stop to try out for dinner over the Memorial Day weekend. When I entered the restaurant, I could see that the place is quite small and dark inside, which, in my opinion, really isn't an issue like I have read from other reviewers. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the service was pretty fast. The bartender can also whip up a snazzy cocktail as well. The menu is a tad small, and the food is tasty, but some of the items are a bit on the salty side. I ordered the Seafood Bistro Soup and the Scallops. The soup was fine in terms of flavor, but the salt on scallops with the crunchy onions was a tad overkill. Overall, I was satisfied with my first experience and will definitely try them out again the next time I am in the area.

This is our favorite restaurant in Lake George village. Craft cocktails, delicious gourmet pizza and friendly staff. What more could you want?

We enjoyed this place and almost cleaned our plates. We were seated inside in a cozy corner by a stone fireplace. It has a dark, intimate, gas lit atmosphere which we enjoyed on our date night. If you have trouble reading in a dim atmosphere you may want to bring a light. Some items weren't exactly as expected, but good none the less. A bone dish for the ribs and something to clean my fingers with while eating ribs would have been appreciated.

We decided upon this restaurant for a romantic dinner after a cold day outside. We were not disappointed. The staff was wonderful-friendly and attentive. My husband and I both chose the scallops-which melted in our mouths. Thank you Gaslight for a beautiful dining experience. (If you’re able, sit at the tables near the fireplace!)

We had a great experience and everyone enjoyed their meal. Burgers were cooked as requested by each person (medium, well, etc). Good reduction sauce on the steak. Everyone really liked the fries. And they handled our large group well, even needing split into three checks. It was not busy, as we were there on a weeknight before peak season, and we had a great meal.

I get the covid restrictions with the bar rule. So skip the NY bar rule and order dinner and let your tastes buds be tantalized. The do Need a few more desserts.

I feel bad for this place but the reality is don’t go there...especially on Labor Day weekend. They charged me for a pizza I didn’t even want.. They told me because I ordered a beer I had to pay for their pizza… Some New York rule.....The atmosphere is good but don’t let that entice you...completely shocked when they said I “had” to take their pizza. Anyways...if you want a $21.00 Bud Light, this is your spot!

Great food and good drinks! The burger and Mac and cheese were delicious !!! I would get the pizza next time as well because the stretch bread appetizer we had was amazing . I am a picky eater, and I Recommend !

Yummy food, decent service

Great food, great service, great ambience. We ordered multiple plates and cocktails, everything was great with the exception of the wings that didn't taste as fresh as everything else. Our kids loved the pizza and burgers, we loved the tuna tartar, sesame tuna, cocktails and the laid back ambience given that we were with two kids but there was a table next to us with about 5 kids and everyone was chilled and having a great time. Will definitely return next time we are back in lake george.

Loved the vibe right as we stepped inside. The brick oven is very nostalgic looking and it’s right out in the open so you can watch your pizza being made. Staff was great, my water never got empty and I never had to go out of my way to request anything, they offered all they had. We each got a pizza (Buffalo chicken & Ludwig) and an order of wings to split. The wings were spot on! Perfect crispness and the sauce was excellent (spicy, but not too hot that my gf couldn’t enjoy, lol). The pizzas were the best! I’d make the trip to Lake George again just for some Gaslight pizza. 10/10 experience!

Our first time here. Let's start with the service, it was courteous professional warm and friendly. The food was tasty and a menu that covers everyone. I had the pork shank it was seasoned perfectly. The atmosphere was chill and the music perfect if you like jazz. We will be back again.

So first we arrived before the restaurant opened, and were greeted with a smile in the parking lot by who we later found out was the owner!!! (Great, genuine guy) 1st time going eating here and regardless of our reservation time sat us immediately and provided exceptional service. BTW, Everyone that working was personable and pleasant. The menu wasn’t fussy it had a great selection of appetizers and entrees. What we liked the most is we weren’t over stimulated by the abundance of option. You could tell he took thought into the menu collection and perfected those items. I don’t think that we could’ve picked anything bad to be honest but for review purposes we ordered the bread and Brussels as the appetizers and the scallops and salmon for the entrees. It was amazingly well crafted, portioned perfectly, and presented well. We also slid in dessert (lemon layer cake) WOW, phenomenal!! The cocktails and draft beers didn’t disappoint and the server was attentive enough to keep them coming but not over the top were we had to tell him to get away. The owner later came over and greeted us, asked for on spot reviews and honestly so he could be better. (He’s doing a great job with his bistro, no need to change anything). All in all a great place. We will return.

So glad we were able to get a reservation! Loved the menu online and, although one of the items I was looking forward to having was not available (fried cheese curds), everything we ordered was delicious! The host was friendly & accommodating. Waiter was attentive. Dessert was amazing! They were very busy so there was a bit of a wait, but they made it clear that they appreciated our patience. Look forward to getting back there on our next Lake George trip!

First visit to Lake George and Gaslight was our favorite spot for excellent drinks and great eats. Our bartender Alex was fantastic! I had no idea what I wanted so he made me a drink off the drink list and it was fantastic. For the rest of the night and the next night he made some drinks he created on the spot and they were great. I can't say enough good things about Alex. The food was just as good. We had the prosciutto and arugala pizza and it was delicious. Service and food was just stellar. It's a must visit folks!

Had to wait 45 minutes for our food to be brought. It was served cold. Steak was mediocre and the fries were way oversalted, some were inedible. Perhaps some people enjoy that, though. Overall I found my experience to be subpar given the high rating of this restaurant and its appealing atmosphere.

The service, food, presentation, atmosphere - everything was A+++. I was a tiny bit nervous bringing my two children under the age of 5 into this nice place but they couldn't have been more accommodating. Although they do have a kids section on the menu we ended up just getting a couple of meals, an appetizer, and a pizza to share between four of us. Everything item blew us away (my 1 and 3 year olds each had some of my seared ahi tuna along with everything else) and we had some leftovers to bring home.

Good food, came without reservation and they took us immediately. Limited menu
