The food and service was amazing! Scratch cooking and great variety of wine! Had the stuffed zucchini blossoms and eggplant parmesan. Huge portions and freshly baked bread and garlic knots. Definitely going to go back!

delicious. not sure if the owner helped us or 1 of the pizza makers but he was really nice. This pizzeria was spotless. No joke i now know why people say you could eat off the floor, In this place you could. We had a party of 8 with 5 kids. he made the pies and served us. Kids being kids they were a little noisy. He never seemed annoyed and came over to check on us more then once. Just as importantly the food was great. the pies were well made and with good ingredients. You know its good when you get that grease drip on the fold. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Tasty pizza and sweets. The 2-slice plus a soda is a great deal if you want to have a yummy and quick meal. Looking forward to trying other dishes in the future.

My mom and I went for dinner...we both had the eggplant which was delicious. I would definitely get that again. The owner introduced himself which is rare. He seemed very nice. And offered us a rundown on the homemade desserts. I had a cheesecake creme brulee which out of this world.

We ordered takeout from this place for the first time. We had fettuccine alfredo, chicken parmigiana and a chicken in a vodka sauce on a hero. The chicken parm was good and the hero was delicious. The portion sizes were really a great value.

Some of the best pizza on Long Island. Very flavorful sauce. You can tell they use high quality ingredients just by the taste.

Tonight was my fourth time ordering from lagrova. I wish I would have tried it sooner. Any meal I have ordered did not disappoint. Chicken cutlets are thin and fresh everytime. Owner always takes time to explain options for meals and is extremely polite. Last but not least best tiramisu I've had in forever.

I've been coming to La grovea from many, many years. I'm talking like almost 40 years. I moved away from this area occasionally. When I'm in town I drop in for a couple slices of pizza or a pie. Carmine is very nice guy and I'm glad he's still open for business. When I was a little boy I would come in here and get a slice. Brings back a lot of memories.

This was our first (and last) time visiting La Grova Ristorante. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, except for one couple. We should've known that an empty Italian restaurant on a Friday night was a bad sign. The service was mostly awful. Unfriendly and slightly rude. The food was mediocre and way overpriced. There are much better options nearby so we'll stick with those going forward.

We were in town on a weekend trip to see family and we came across this gem and I am very glad we did. When we walked in the environment and atmosphere was just so welcoming. We came at a weird time so there was nobody in the dine in area but immediately our server helped us with the menu since we have never been here before. We got a meatball and onion pizza as well as a House salad with homemade dressing. AMAZING. The dressing for the salad was light but so tasty. The pizza crust was thin and crispy which we LOVE. I love how homey they made us feel and this will be a spot we visit every time we visit!

We found this Gem by accident as we were at the Lake Grove fair and googled places to eat near by. There were 6 of us and everyones food was amazing. I had a special shrimps and clams with a special macaroni the best i have had and i have had this dish many times at other places. My Wife had the Lobster Ravoli Amazing!!! My 4 Sisters had a special Chicken dish with Rigatoni Amazing. Then if that was not enough the Homemade Desserts out of this world the Lemon cake the Icecream cake and the Cheese cake WOW!! The owners are amazing they make you feel like your eating dinner with Family!!! If you dont try this place you are missng out!!! We have found our new favorite place.
