I was not sure what to expect when checking-in at Hampton Inn Lake Havasu, since I had read some bad reviews about it. However, we have been very pleased with our stay, the room was spacious, with a balcony giving on the lake, the beds were comfortable and all was very clean. It was quiet and well situated in town. The pool area is very pleasant, with tables and BBQs available for guests to grill, and even a big fireplace for the colder days. The only thing that I agree on with some reviews, and that I mentioned to the (very friendly) staff, is that the carpet in the hallways have seen better days and could take a deep cleaning. They said they were working on it... Highly recommended.

I'm not quite sure where all the good reviews are coming from. Although the outside & lobby were quite nice (as was the staff), the cleanliness was appalling. Dead bugs & hair all over the bed in the first room. We asked to be moved and our 2nd room had LIVE black bugs on the bed. For the price that they are asking I don't think a clean room is to much to ask for. The staff was amazing though !

The young man who checked us in was happy, and very accommodating. I had to call and let them know we would be checking in late, it was not a problem. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were a huge plus for us! Big beautiful pool, and every staff member we encountered was nice and helpful. The breakfast had lots of choices, and the lady working it was so sweet and helpful. We definitely enjoyed ourselves, and will be back soon, thanks for a great stay!

The room smelled like sewage. The shower was completely clogged up. I couldn't take a shower. Pool water is not sanitized properly. It has a murky color with algae spots. The guy cleaning it was having too much fun visiting with other staff perhaps so I couldn't go swimming. The bed was awful. It was extremely soft and my husband felt like he was sleeping in a hole, and the sheets are dirty and has a black streak on them. Some of the staff is unsympathetic and kind of rude. Breakfast was excellent and hot, however. Many choices. The room decor was striped lime green and ugly. The coffee in the room is weak and lacks any flavor. Looks like they use a substandard brand of coffee. Therefore, overall, I would not stay here again. Class it up, Hampton. For 160 a night, you definitely need to do better!

Decent stay. Location is walking distance to most places. Pool area was clean. Unfortunately gym hours are not conducive to those early risers. I was on a work trip that starts the days before 6 am. Gym doesnt open until 6. Recommend they change it to 24 hour gym access. To meet all hospitality needs of all their guests.

Theft Concern... I stayed 1 night at this location, checked out and realized that I left my bag of clothes hanging in the closet. I immediately called the hotel, let the front desk know what happened and was told housekeeping was gone for the day and will relay the message to the GM in the morning. I am now 3 hrs from their location with no follow-up the next day. I called back a day later and was told they were aware and the GM was checking. The outcome was that they could not locate the clothing and they apologized that I was not able to locate my belongings. How can I locate them if they were left hanging in the hotel closet??? Jamie, I am told is the sales mgr, was extremely unprofessional and rude on the phone. I asked them to check their cameras to see what I came in with and left with however nothing more than excuses. I will caution you to keep very close tabs on your belongings here. I travel a lot and have never had an issue prior to this experience. I will continue to take this concern up the hotels chain for untimely follow-up, extreme lack of professionalism when dealing with a customer and a theft concern at this location.

We've stayed at other Hampton Inns and this one was a disappointment. For anyone wondering, as of the end of March, the spa was still not working... Our room had so many spiderwebs along the ceiling! There were plenty of things in our room that just generally needed to be replaced, deep cleaned, or repaired. For pros, it is very close to the London Bridge and lake side has a lovely view of the sunset. The common areas all looked better kept than our room and the breakfast area was super spacious.

A hotel in a prime location with great views, clean rooms and amenities. Front desk staff was very polite with excellent customer service skills. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety. Highly recommend this hotel in Lake Havasu!

Clean rooms and GREAT service/staff but could use a deep clean or new materials. Old stains and burns in carpeting, old crust built up in showers and bathrooms. Once again, it's clean just old and worn. Moderately good sound isolation. Would visit again!

The hotel looks great on the outside, the lobby is very nice and the staff is great. However, the rooms could be better… the water was scalding hot and it wouldn’t get even luke warm, the beds are hard and cheap, and the wall unit AC’s are super old. The AC is my biggest complaint, I left sick as a dog from that dirty air blowing in my face for two consecutive nights. They are a health hazard!

Service was nice! Location was perfect very close to everything, the breakfast was better than I expected they have a good variety. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable πŸ˜• and the sheets kept falling off like they were too small for the bed and noticed a huge dark stain right where we put our face. The tub needs a good scrub. The pool need constant cleaning it is very oily and lots of chunks of hair very dirty we only went in once and got grossed out. This is a pet friendly hotel I just wished they had a grass area for the furry ones to relieve themselves. Other than that it was a good experience I guess.

Every employee we encountered was awesome and very helpful. We appreciate the fact that this is a pet friendly hotel. The continental breakfast far exceeded my expectations, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit... It was great! The three of us easily saved $50-$60 per day by not having to pay for breakfast elsewhere. The room was clean, the pool area is awesome. It was a 10+ experience for us and we will be back!

I am a Hilton Honors member. I stopped by last time I was in town to check the place out and was told the place was completely remodeled. When I checked in on this visit my room had old popcorn ceilings and large crack running across the entire ceiling. The bed had a dip in it and I could hear the bed springs when I sat on it. I am thinking the bed was not new. When I first checked in, I could hear voices from the next room, although, thankfully, when I went to sleep I didn't hear any noise. The bathroom was clean. The free breakfast had premade omelets, and biscuits and gravy....no meat at all, no sausage, no bacon. And the halls and elevator had that cleaning product smell....not a fresh smell...kind of an institutional smell. The elevator seemed old and was out of service when I checked out. I had to walk down the stairs with my luggage from the 3rd floor...there was no notice about this happening at all. Parking was fine. It just struck me as an old building that was updated a little bit. The front desk was pleasant on check in (3pm on 11/7). When I checked out a different front desk person was dealing with a staff member, when I asked for a printed receipt, she seemed bothered by the request and said "You get an email receipt". She printed it out and then continued on with the staff member. No 'thank you', or 'come again'. I won't come here again. The nearby Holiday Inn Express is only a couple years old, everything is new and the breakfast is better. I will be returning to that location on future business trips. It has better ratings on Google too.

Room: Very dirty bathroom, dead bugs. Had to kill two cockroaches and a few beetles. Gym: Very dirty, no towels, no sanitary wipes for after workout, no cups for water, two of three treadmills not working, Precore not working, missing weights, and equipment from cable machine, loose wires hanging from TV. Common bathroom in lobby: drinking fountains not working. No towels even after alerting the front desk and waiting 12 hours. For me, a workout is very important. I don't have high expectations for a hotel gym but this hotel would be better off not offering a gym if it is going to be in this kind of condition Plus: All desk staff were very pleasant and lovely to talk to even with the complaints, although I believe they did not do anything due to being short staffed.

Stayed here for business with a medium-size group for 11 nights. Our reservations were originally for 10 nights, but they were accommodating for our extra night. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The room that I was assigned was a double queen. The mattresses were good and soft enough. The pillows were flat and had little support. I had to double up. The sheets were clean and average. The comforter had some fluff and warmth. The room had its own AC unit and could be adjusted. The bathroom was a decent size, although the shower was a little narrow with it having a support handle. I kept hitting my arm on it when I showered. There are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The were plenty of clean towels. The towel hooks on the wall were starting coming off, but still had enough to hold towels. Some rooms have a view of the lake, but I had the steeet view. There is a pool open from 08:00 to 20:00 but it's only 5 feet at the deepest part. They do have a lift for those needing assistance from a wheelchair. The pool deck has plenty of seating as well as a barbecue grill. Continental breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:00, and was good enough for me. They always served scrambled eggs, and the protein always changed (bacon, sausage patty, or sausage links). There are things to make your own waffles, and plenty of different breads and muffins. Coffee is available all day in the lobby. There is a small bar that's open from 17:00 to 22:00, but only serves beer, hard seltzers and wine; no hard liquor. The front desk staff was friendly and always ready to help. The gym was small but had enough (treadmill and dumbbells) to do basic workouts. The business center is small with two computers and a printer. There is a large conference hall if needed, which can be divided in half if the whole hall isn't needed. Room cleaning had to be scheduled 24 hours in advanced, but they only came one out of the three times. There is plenty of parking around the hotel, and some security cameras watching over from what I've seen. The location is a five minute drive from most things and 10 minutes from center. There are things that are close enough to walk to as well. I wouldn't mind staying again; it was pleasant.

Very Disappointing! Let me save you a couple hundred dollars. Let me start by saying the front desk staff is great. Unfortunately management is terrible and the lack of response and attention to concerns on their property is highly disappointing. When we checked in, the room we initially got had hair all over the bed and pee stains all the way to the mattress. when checking in the bathroom there were spiders on the ceiling. We were moved to another room right away. If we weren't staying there with our whole team, I would have checked out immediately. The next room also had pee stains on the mattress. We flipped the mattress and showed the front office pictures. The rust stains and smell was awful. I also should not have had to spend extra money on bedding, blankets and an air mattress to sleep. When I emailed management to advice of concerns and disappointment, we have yet to hear back a week and a half later. Say your time and money and search else where for a place to stay.

Stayed in Room #226 . Nice view . Down side both beds were very squeaky . when you would turn over at night disturbing others in the room. The mattresses were also harder than most hotel beds I’ve slept in. Def not pillow tops . Had a hard time sleeping . Overall the hotel itself was very nice and clean.

Front Desk is great very accommodating. Room is a bit outdated but clean. Comes with Microwave and small refrigerator. Breakfast serves until 10am which was impressive. We will consider staying here again next time we’re back in town.

Always our go to place to stay!! Rooms are always clean!! The pool side and pool are clean, and refreshing! The breakfast is outstanding! But the service is what seals the deal. They ALL are friendly, ready to help, and even join in on fun!

Arrived to find they had "upgraded" us from a king with a couch pullout (2 bed rooms were sold out) for our family of 5 to a single king bed with a better view. The hotel was overbooked so we were stuck in that room. We were unable to fit 2 rollaway beds and a pack n play in our room and ended up having a miserable night tripping over every one. The service was decent, and they did try to resolve our concerns as we brought them up, but there were several negative factors (black floors, food from previous guest in our fridge, no AC in the halls or elevator, outdated/inefficient in-room AC units).

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and our sink was clogged. Maintenance fixed the sink but in doing so left water on the floor. We used the towels to clean it up and were disgusted to see they were black. The floors clearly had not been cleaned in a long time. We went to the front desk and they didn’t have any other rooms but said they would have the room cleaned the next morning. Sadly the next morning all they did was replace the dirty towels. Nothing was cleaned. In our current climate of Covid and their supposed standards of cleaning we were very disappointed. We reached out and have not been contacted back. I would not recommend staying here.

Been staying at this Hotel for a while. We came in for the Rockabilly car show. We came in late one night and the night clerk seemed overwhelmed. Following day I spoke with Jamie and Karissa dayshift managers. They were awesome. Made some accommodation for us to make the stay really nice. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast area is very big and good waffles. View was great.
