I
booked
a
room
here
recently
when
my
girlfriend
and
I
were
visiting
town
to
attend
a
funeral.
I
booked
online
as
usual
and
when
I
showed
up
to
the
hotel
at
midnight
to
my
surprise
half
the
parking
lot
was
covered
with
construction
materials
and
crates.
I
had
no
other
choice
but
to
go
in
since
I
had
already
paid
and
it
was
midnight
to
check
in,
at
the
front
desk
I
checked
in
and
was
NOT
told
anything
about
the
construction
or
work.
I
was
then
woken
up
the
morning
before
the
funeral,
along
with
my
grieving
girlfriend,
at
8am
to
saws,
banging,
workers
talking,
and
general
obscenely
loud
construction
noises.
I
went
down
to
the
front
desk
to
complain
and
ask
for
a
partial
refund
on
behalf
of
the
fact
that
I
was
not
warned
online,
over
the
phone,
or
at
check
in.
The
front
desk
worker
was
extremely
rude
and
apathetic,
lied
to
me
and
told
me
the
hotel
manager
would
call
me
and
settle
the
issue.
I
was
never
called,
emailed,
or
helped.
I
will
never
stay
here
again
and
will
always
tell
those
I
know
to
avoid
it.
I
feel
scammed,
taken
advantage
of,
and
wronged.
All
during
a
weekend
about
the
death
of
a
beloved,
how
lovely.

for
a
terrible
experience.
