The first few times coming to this location were all great experiences. However, thinking this is a better experience vs the ER in hospitals, the last time i came here the staff was extremely RUDE and acting as if they were annoyed to do their job. RIDICULOUS. They had us waiting and if I didn't get up to ask for my paperwork so I may leave, I would of been there till they closed. Then they had the nerve to be upset at me for asking for my paperwork. The blonde doctor in there was rude and not even informative and didn't want to bother to hear the reason why I was there in the first place. They was no type of hospitality or even professionalism on Friday, October 27, 2023 in the evening. I will never be returning back to that location. That staff seriously needs to be retrained or just find another job. If you must come to this location beware.

Disappointed with the service at CityMD. The staff seemed unhelpful and exhibited an off-putting arrogance. It's unfortunate that patient care didn't meet expectations.I won't be going to this location. There's a much better urgent care facility just a 5-minute drive away on Union TPK that I highly recommend over CityMD.

Brought my daughter here. They were fast and efficient to see her but they had forgot to send a prescription to our local pharmacy and my daughter was suffering an additional day with her symptoms. They were negligent with her care. Never going there again. I had to call them to send the prescription request. After speaking to the first patient care person she was rude and put me back on the phone queue then finally another person finally assisted.

Went in after suffering from acute and severe symptoms of upper respiratory issues for over a week. The doctor there was dismissive and didn't bother to try to listen to me ( I lost my voice completely and I had difficulty breathing). Didn't bother to swab me either as long as it wasn't covid. I work in the medical field and the doctors at my facility even told me i needed certain medication. I had to go to another urgent care with a more patient and knowledgeable staff. You want to be ignored and be treated as if you are wasting the doctor's time, then go to this place

I’ve normally had a good experience here, but this last time I went I was treated by Dr. Kim who was sarcastic, rude, and overall pretty unhelpful. Not sure I’d return to City MD after this. As a sick patient, you don’t want to go somewhere to be ridiculed and treated like you’re unintelligent. Better bedside manner needs to be provided. Do better Dr.Kim.

Highly professional, efficient, and helpful. City MD has great follow-up. I visited them for a blood sugar test, and, when the doctor on staff realized I had high blood sugar, he had his receptionist at the concierge desk not only refer me to an endocrinologist, but even contacted me the next morning to let me know that an appointment was scheduled with an local endocrinologist for the following day! A++

I went to City MD on 2/18/23 at 9am. My throat, ears, and head were in pain. After getting examined and discussed my 1 allergy to Cefdinir (which he confirmed was already labeled in my records) I was told that I could pick up two liquid antibiotics. Liquid was decided by the dr since my throat was blocked and he decided I had tonsilitis. I never requested liquid medicine but was fine with it since the dr mentioned it. I sent a family member to pick up the medicine from True Care, and the pharmacist let me know and showed me the computer screen where it noted that the dr (from City MD) had sent in 4 prescriptions, and then canceled them. No new prescriptions were sent in. I called City MD, as well as my pharmacy called CITY MD. City MD told me that my pharmacy canceled the prescription because one of the medicines went against my allergy. (huge lie. as I saw the dr canceled) Now I am very confused because why would the dr send me anything that would go against an allergy. After much aggravation, City MD continued to blame my pharmacy and acted like they had no idea about my allergy. (even though we discussed and it was in my chart, and there was still no prescriptions sent to me.) I spoke to a supervisor, who filed my complaint at City MD. My pharmacy called me after another hour to tell me that the dr send in 2 prescriptions, one liquid and one caplets. Out of utter exhaustion, I called City MD again, and questioned why I didn't have two liquid medicines as the dr suggested. The dr asked me if I wanted it, but I reminded him that he was the one who recommended it. I never requested it. I was told that it would be better for my throat, so why didn't he send that? He had no response other than "Do you want it now? I told him no because I wanted to start my medicine as soon as possible. I have so many questions. Why did City MD originally send 4 prescriptions and then cancel? Why didn't City MD correct whatever error was made and send the proper prescriptions to my pharmacy? (Only after myself and my pharmacy call did they even know nothing was sent after they cancelled a 4 prescription order) Could this be for another patient? Why are they blaming my pharmacy for canceling it when it clearly showed that it was canceled by City MD? ( have known my pharmacy my whole life. I believe their evidence and saw it myself) Why wasn't the dr aware of my allergies after verbal and written clarification? (since he says he sent something that went against my allergy) Why was I sent only 1 liquid medication when my throat was so severely hurting? Please note that the nurse was in the room the entire time and heard all of these conversations. (I told the nurse to note my allergies as well, which he also said were already in the system) I am thoroughly disappointed in City MD and the way my after-care was handled. I have always trusted City MD and today I lost all my trust in the organization because of the lies that they shared today. I would have appreciated an apology that a mistake was made instead of passing the blame to my pharmacy. I hope that this matter gets looked into. Please reach out to me to let me know how you are handling this situation.

I took my son to City MD because he was complaining about back pain and stomach pain. The doctor said he pulled a muscle and prescribed Nasopryn and muscle relaxer. He didn't even offer an x-ray be done, I should have insisted on the x-ray. The meds didn't help the issue and I took him to his PCP the next day. I was very disappointed that they weren't very comprehensive enough before diagnosing and sending him home.

No good. Came here for abdominal pain issue that's been going on a week. Dr came in and didn't do anything, didn't feel the area or poke around, didn't suggest any tests or imaging, said take ibuprofen and it will probably go away. Now I'm out a $50 co-pay and still have to find a real Dr. It feels like I got scammed. Came here because my PCP is no longer practicing and I haven't found another yet.

I came twice to city md bc I was sick with a terrible infection that turned bacterial. The Dr disregarded my symptoms and claimed I was breathing fine and refused to give me medication that I desperately needed. Instead, I was given another COVID test after testing negative three days prior. I saw my PCP and she was astounded by CITYMDS negligence. I had a bacterial infection spread to my lungs and sinus and it’s gone untreated for 8 days.

Nursing staff are professional the front desk personnel the exact opposite. Waited almost an hour for a COVID clearance. Then another 30 minutes just for the results. I was told the results would be made available within 15 minutes but the front desk people were so busy talking they never saw my results come in. I had to go up to them to ask. After I had been waiting 30 minutes. The place wasn’t busy at all, all the front desk people did from the moment I walked in was chit chat. Won’t be coming back if you continue to hire unprofessional high school acting staff members.

The staff from front desk to check out was very helpful, patient and professional. Everything was done to ensure my health concerns were addressed. The medical technicians were skilled. The doctor didn’t make me feel rushed at all. He took the time to make all of the necessary recommendations. I appreciated how I was treated.

Just left the place 40 minutes ago Nurses and front desk were kind and patient even when it was very busy. Unfortunately, the doctor that assisted me today was very condescending. Came in because I have COVID and my throat is so sore I can barely drink any liquid, I have anemia and had an emergency blood transfusion few months ago. Was not able to eat since last night and was trying to prevent another trip to the ER. Sadly I was unable to speak because of my throat and the doctor was talking down to me, dismissing my symptons and left the room after saying "It's just COVID" and winking at me. I couldn't catch the doctor's name but he was a bald. If his attitude is like this because I was unable to speak properly I am worried about other patients.

Very horrible experience because I was not wearing an helmet. Look the customer is always right no matter what they done or who they are. They were a few bright side as the fron representative was nice and caring but the doctor was uncaring and nor helpful. It was a shame because I have treated her twice for snitches and covid19. Both time was treated to the utmost respect but not today and I will never come back here again.

DONT GO DONT GO THIS PLACE IS THE WORST Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else This city MD is by far the worst all they can do here is Covid testing swab your nose and wait 15 minutes to tell you if it’s positive or negative that’s all they’re capable of doing at this place I wish somebody else would open an urgent care in Fresh Meadows because city MD sucks. I Been there multiple times they misdiagnosed me every time so you know they gave me the wrong medication all the doctors I see there are miserable people. I don’t know where city MD finds these doctors they are the worst do your doctors get their license off of the back of a crackerjack box ? Really you always have the worst of the worst doctors at Fresh Meadows City MD 188th St. DONT GO DONT GO

Jocelyn (hope i spelled her name correctly), on the phone was great. Above and beyond service. She was able to source me different locations that were closer to me that had the service I was looking for, I didn't ask for her to, she just did it out of the kindness of her heart. Really appreciate the time you took to confirm those for me! I hope you get your blessings Jocelyn.

👍👍 Everyone at the office is so nice. Dr. Shelton took his time with me and explained all my options without pushing me into anything. He’s wonderful and I trust his expertise. 😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. 😠 First of all, I'm a local this was the second time I went to this place. August 08 at 1:00pm, I did 3 person line and I overheard people were arguing at the front desk. My assumption was that of course front desk had an attitude base from last experience. Shortly, a young lady coming out saying to m...
