First of all, I'm a local this was the second time I went to this place. August 08 at 1:00pm, I did 3 person line and I overheard people were arguing at the front desk. My assumption was that of course front desk had an attitude base from last experience. Shortly, a young lady coming out saying to me and the other person on line "Be careful they are very very rude". After that, try to make my appointment at the computers in the front because I did not want to interaction much with these ladies with a poor customer service. I could not do it because I did not find the option of rapid-Covid test there. Then I approached to the counter and I heard the conversation between these two counter ladies one saying "She asking stupid questions", the other laughing. I was not a low tone of voice, meaning that they really don't care if other customers listen you are disrespecting other customers. What is going on here, where are the manners of these two ladies in FRONT if this center!. Once again this happened, August 8, if there is someone can take action toward this shameful behavior. In addition to my complain, as I said this is not the first time I went there and I have the same issue regarding people again front front desk come late from a lunch break. Employees need a lunch break by law, but this place give more than 1hr break to front desk people?. As I said it was 1:00pm and they said will be back 2:20pm. They put a silly clock there with the time they will be lack. This is so disrespectful, that people laughing of customers in their faces and also, take lunch for ever. There is a picture I took about the funny clock system they have to get away with responsibilities. During a Pandemic and the potential outbreak coming. Not even an inch of caring, but more about going home and eating. Statcare Urgent Care please invest in people front of the desk, they are rude, unresponsive, and don't like what they doing.

A wonderful place to visit if you want to catch COVID while getting tested! After waiting in line for 20 minutes, I left and booked an appointment with another provider instead. I will be getting another COVID test later in the week to see if I was exposed while getting tested in this ridiculously unsafe environment. I haven't had issues with the folks at the front desk like many reviews (in fact they seemed very professional today), but every time I come here with an appointment for a PCR test, there is a long line nearly out the door. People in line are spaced 1-2 feet apart. There does not seem to be much or any ventilation so it feels very sketchy being in there. Everyone in line is constantly asking each other "do we have to wait in this line even if we have an appointment...?" At the time of my visit on Monday around 830AM, there were 22 people inside waiting. There is a sign on the reception glass that says the capacity is 8. When I was here a couple weeks ago, there were closer to 30 people overcrowding the waiting room. Felt like Delta was having a field day in there. This place is highly unsafe. Here's a tip for management: you have WAY too many appointment slots available and are therefore WAY overcapacity.

No windows, no ventilation, max capacity is 8 but there's about 20 people around my photo only shows was in front of me not on the sides. My appt was at 5:50 and I'm writing this at 6:46. Asked the counter what the estimated delay was and they said, "I don't know. People are here for different reasons and there is one provider." Not sure how this is considered urgent care. -- Update. Maybe you came to get some COVID testing done because it was close to you. I recommend you look elsewhere and just take the extra travel time into the city. I went for a COVID test both rapid and PCR. It took two days for them to call me to tell me they would call me to tell me my COVID results and if that was okay - yes you read it right, they called me to tell me they would call me to tell me. Then they never called me to tell me. I called in to ask and their automated system heavily implied that we should not call in for results unless it's be 14 days. Not sure how that is rapid - they'll blame it on the labs but I've been to others and 14 days is not because of the labs. When calling in they said I need to log into the portal because the results are ready- what portal?? The portal they mentioned in the automated message that has a weird name so you have no idea how to spell it. I eventually found it and the results were not online. And it wasn't until a day later did I get an email about the portal - so this is already three days after I did the test did I get any portal information, but even then, there were no results. Called in again, they said they'd check. My "rapid" results didn't come in until 5 days.

Courteous and friendly staff. I have been to a few Urgent Cares where the brusqueness of the staff created an unwelcome atmosphere, but on entering this facility, I felt comfortable. Thanks to the receptionist, the medical assistant and the nursing practitioner Miss Redway for their assistance on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Do not use this facility. Appointments are in no way reflective of when you will be seen. Staff is courteous, however I have spent inordinate amount of time waiting for test results. Billing is a MAJOR issue – nobody to call, chat, or text. I have been billed for services I did not receive & have been emailing their service dept for MONTHS to try and resolve this. They continue to send bills via text message and email weekly, with no response to my requests or complaints. Mediocre service, predatory billing. Find another Urgent Care.

They are the worst place, they lie with the information. They don't have anyone on their staff who speaks Spanish asks for several times someone and they refused to help me, I tried to use the translator and the girl never contacted me through the translator She always did it in English as if I were understanding her, I understand that we are in the United States but here I lived a large number of People who do not speak Spanish very well and if they are a health center should look for the tools to communicate with their patients because they do not attend for free, we are paying for a service. On the website it says the opposite of the attention I received in that place. They have a girl who speaks Spanish but I asked to speak with her on many occasions but they refused to call her and the girl who helped me continued speaking to me in English as if she was understanding you and I let her know on many occasions but I think she was mocking or would have used the translator to communicate with me

Would not recommend NAO Medical. The first time I went in, no one at the front desk showed up, so they could not check patients in. I came back the next morning and was informed that the provider hadn’t come in yet. Eventually the provider showed up and I got treated. I was told me lab results would be available in 2 days. After 3 days I had not gotten an email or text and nothing was available in my online portal, so I went into the office and was told my lab results had been available since yesterday, so they printed me out a paper copy.

I have been here twice and both times I’ve had scheduled appointments. The wait times are absurd— both times it took over an hour to be seen. The first time I ever came my appointment was when they first opened so no one was waiting before me. The staff is kind but SLOW and inefficient. Except any kind of appointment to be at least an hour and a half minimum. I want to note my second appointment was only for test results, all of which a doctor could’ve told me over the phone in 5mins. Instead two hours of my time and $75 was wasted. I wish I could recommend them, but honestly I’ve been to better Urgent Care providers in the city so don’t waste your time.

They are all super sweet and patient. One nurse in particular was extremely sweet. She was drawing blood and could tell I was nervous she comforted me and we made some small talk to distract me. They didn’t take long to see me either. I was in and out in less then 45 minutes. The clinic is very clean and they answered all my questions. Cant wait till they do primary care. Will definitely be staying with them.

I scheduled an appointment the morning of and was seen not too long after my scheduled time. Everyone was very friendly and patient. The physician assistant that helped me was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. While the place isn’t fancy, it is clean and conveniently located next to the train station. I’m so glad to have found a new place to go when needed.

Expect to wait 1.5-2 hours to get into a room, even with an appointment. Computers are left unlocked with patients, so if you struggle with boredom while waiting another half hour to be seen, you can theoretically help them violate HIPAA. On the flip side, staff is lovely, the PA is great. Come if you have 2 hours to kill, otherwise find somewhere else

While the doctor was fairly nice, I was waiting to be seen for about an hour and 30 minutes to see the doctor. Another appointment had to made just to finish basic things because in their words I had already been there for so long. I was actually told I was good to go because they THOUGHT I had already seen the doctor. It was my first time there but the experience wasn't exactly a pleasant one.

Don’t do immigration here. They over charge and don’t update their prices. It came out to over $600 out of pocket. Go elsewhere. I was told $400 at other clinics including all vaccines out of pocket. Here I was told it wouldn’t be more than $400 either so I just went here because it was closer. Turns out their tdap is $125 now instead of $90, and so on for every vaccine. In addition the civil surgeons are only in the deep parts of the Bronx or Hicksville which are really inaccessible to most New Yorkers without cars. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The receptionist at least was nice at the Brooklyn location.

I visited b/c of a bad toothache and my dentist is out of office for two weeks. I wanted amoxicillin. The app let me schedule an appt for 1:30, which was in the middle of lunch hour, so no one was even present until 2:05. At 2:30, they took me into an exam room. There I sat listening to every word from the exam room next door. The clinician was explaining to a young woman that she had hepatitis and talked about what to expect and next steps. She cried hysterically. When the clinician left the room I could hear her phone conversation with friend/family where she said she was "freaking out". After 90 minutes in the exam room I was finally seen and the clinician seemed surprised and dismayed that I knew EVERYTHING about the situation that delayed him. It is entirely inappropriate that I could hear all of this private medical information. All in all, I found this provider unprofessional and inconvenient, will never go back.

Did not have to wait, was called 1 minute after appointment time, the entire team from the young woman who checked me in to Annie, Israel and Dr. Ribi, basically the entire staff. I am very particular and I only see my PCP, but this urgent care is in my neighborhood, so I decided to try it because I was in so much pain, and did not want to go to the ED. I felt comfortable and was quite satisfied with the service I received.

I always have a good experience visiting this clinic. They really accommodate any questions or concerns you may have and make sure to get you referred to the right place. I’ve felt very taken care of with some more difficult health issues and the walk in option is great, especially if you are looking for the booster or flu shot. I appreciate the efficiency in service and the care they give to the community! Thank you!

I absolutely hate this place. They charged my canceled insurance for a urinalysis that my active insurance covers and now wanna charge me almost $600 for a $50 drug test from Duane Reade. I needed this for a job from 3 months ago that I can't get because they messed up. Don't come here.

Brought my 7-year-old sister here. They were very nice but didn’t have the ability to figure out what was wrong, so sent us to the hospital. At the hospital I called at 4:40 when they close at 5 to get the results from her urinalysis, which the hospital needed. They didn’t pick up the phone and couldn’t give any results. I would recommend just going straight to the hospital and saving hours of your time.

I recently went to Nao Medical because I needed to see a physician for my job and didn't have insurance. They were very affordable for the Covid Rapid test. Other places in the city were really expensive. The facility was clean and the staff was AWESOME!!! They were really kind and pleasant you really don't find medical offices like Nao anymore. After the anxiety I was feeling, the staff really made me feel comfortable and even laugh. I would recommend Nao Medical to friends, family, and strangers if you're looking for good bedside manner.

This clinic has some of the best prices for uninsured in the area. Everyone who works there is super sweet and seems actually concerned with your care. Several women at the front desk helped me with a difficult insurance issue, even remembering me when I came back a few days later. The provider was kind and knowledgeable, me feel comfortable, and like my needs and concerns were heard. Thank you everyone!

It has been a year since I last went to the clinic, and the service hasn't changed. Dr Chahal and his assistants was courteous and pleasant which had everyone engaged about my concerns. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Confusing/misleading communication about pricing. When booking, I was told about a $150 fee. When I arrived I was told that this fee did not include any of the tests or treatment included in my appointment. (Those would be an additional $160). The possibility of additional costs was never mentioned in the booking conversation. And I felt conflicted about whether to leave the clinic since I had come a good distance to be there.

Where do I start. The staff. When I say staff I mean the MA’s. First of all I have never been to any clinic where all the MA’s and Dr’s goes to lunch together. The waiting room is full with patients and no one to see the them. I waited over an hour for a test. It’s an urgent care clinic for goodness sake. Unacceptable Stat Care! The MA with blonde curly hair get a grip. That’s all I’m going to say. Do better with your staff Stat Care!!

I'm not normally one to write a bad review (or any review at all), but I had a really disappointing experience here and don't want others to face the same. Don't let the updated branding fool you - the experience isn't high tech or streamlined in any way. I made an appointment online and received text + email confirmation, but when I arrived at the clinic, they said they didn't have anything in their system. They had me check in as a walk-in and informed me that the wait would be 2 hours. Another patient informed me that she had been waiting 1 hour even with an appointment, and I decided to leave. I contacted customer service when I got home to try to resolve the tech issues, thinking maybe they would see the appointment in their system, but they also said they had nothing on record, even as I was staring at the appointment in the app. I was ready to keep trying to sort it out and go back the next day, but customer service didn't seem to be at all interested in digging into the issue with me. I took my business down the block to Doral Urgent Care and had a much better experience.

I came here for a license renewal. Doctors are unprofessional, acted like they didn't know what they were doing, and they didn't. I paid my fee and after three attempts at trying to get this done and filling out all the papers required, by my Doctor, they kept asking for more documents that had nothing to do with cdl renewal. I went to a different facility, 2101 Mermaid ave in brooklyn. Was in and out in 1 hour with the same documentation. I suggest you go there if you receive the same horrible treatment I did. I requested my money back since they failed to provide the service I came for and will be taking them to small claims court as well.

It’s crazy even making an appointment you have to wait for more than an hour just to get my results back, I made an appointment to be able to get it done fast and go to work but here I am still waiting might as well get late at work. It’s my first and last time coming here I should’ve check the reviews before coming here, this is ridiculous.

It is my pleasure to write this evaluation of Nao Medical - Brooklyn Urgent Care. The Receptionist was professional, kind and provided exceptional customer service . The Nurse Practitioner provided warm, cordial, professional care. She also provided exceptional care as well. I was pleasantly surprised when Dr Michael entered the examination room. Although he held a stern demeanor, he answered my questions as he provided cordial professional care. I would use Nao Medical again!

Dr Roman treated me today and I'll have you know that I felt human and cared about. The professionalism of the staff is what each medical facility should be modeled after. How they all managed to have such great bedside manner on Thanksgiving Day was insanely beautiful and although I dont want to be sick enough to return, I do know where to go if ever I'm ill. Thanks Dr Zizmore, I mean Dr. Roman 🙃. You all are appreciated!

Their phone number on Google is wrong. I tried calling for over an hour to make an appointment and never got through. I left a message and when someone finally called me back 2-3 hours later, they told me I had called the wrong number and would need to start the whole process over again from a different number. If you are having the same issue, please view their website and maybe they will get back to you quicker.

Always a great experience. Seeking urgent care is never done during a peaceful time, but in the few years that this has been my go-to location, I have never been dissatisfied. Decided to write a review after I had to literally walk-in this morning (they do prefer if you can schedule same-day online) and was still able to see a professional pretty quickly

I had a great experience on my initial appointment for respiratory issues. I was told I would have to come in the next day for an X-ray and an immediate post-X-ray consultation. I came in for the x ray the next morning and they said no immediate consultation, I would need to come in 3+ hours later. I go home and see a random confirmation in my texts for a 6pm appointment that day, which I had never agreed to and was unavailable for. I called the number listed, ended up on their customer service line for all locations. They rescheduled me for 1:15 and then I went at that time and the entire office and practitioners were all on lunch break until 2. They would completely ignore the people in the waiting room. I had to eventually go over to someone and interrupt their lunch to let them know that I had been scheduled for this time and had to leave soon for work. They printed out my results, told me I was fine with no consultation afterwards to discuss an alternative diagnosis considering the findings of my xray. Would stay away from here if you actually need prompt care - especially between 1 and 2pm

SCAM ALERT!!! Had to pay a lot of money after i came by, they told me friday at 8 am would be no problem for a sunday night flight. No results, no costumer service in phone. I went there. A very very very rude person told me " yhaw i know the website says its good for travel but what can you do? I would take the city test". That is after payment and 2 people saying its a sure thing. The website says travel pct tests, but travel is 72 preflight and they do not tell you its more to get results. I truly hope the owners get covid. Scamming is gross

I’m from NC and was on my sisters Bachelorette party when I needed to go to urgent care for non-alcohol related reasons haha. But i was very pleased with the nurses and physician who helped me! The line was not long at all and was done within in hour and a half! One of the front desk staff was a little short and as a fellow front desk girl and a medical practice I was bummed with how little empathy there was there. But the providers were awesome so don’t let the stop you! And if you need prescriptions tell them to send it to S&D pharmacy right down the street. Donald is so nice and made my day so much better after such a rough stop!

Went in this week and was quickly whisked away to a room where friendly staff greeted me and gave accurate notes to Jean-Baptise Richard, who was a pleasure to receive treatment from due to his professional demeanor. The phlebotomist is very nice and professional. This is the place to go if you need a quick physical for forms. The NP did not give me a thorough physical. It was just blood work. But I’m sure They will bill my insurance for its entire services. They asked me to come back to get my results so they can fill out my annual health forms. I received a call to make another appointment. The two females in the front desk are rude and disrespectful. I arrived late and They wanted me to come back at 2:30 even though the clinic was entirely empty. I asked if I can leave my forms so they can just fill it out. They stated that they do not do that here. I will be finding another clinic that will go above and beyond to help me. I was only speaking to one of the receptionist but the other one stated “she is going to have to reschedule” under her breath. I felt a ton of attitude from both of them as a result I returned the same energy. The clinic was empty, they could have helped me if they wanted to. I understand it might have been their lunch break but they really were unprofessional especially with the side comment. I just needed to retrieve my lab results. I wouldn’t mind waiting 30 minutes until their break was over. But two hours? I’m also working in healthcare. I came during my break. I cannot come back at 2:30. I will not recommend this clinic to anyone.

this place used to be good but it sucks now. even when you make an appointment you’ll end up waiting forever cause everyone that works here is just sitting on their phones. tell me why i just waited a half hour for a flu shot that takes 5 seconds when there’s barely anyone else waiting? when i saw the provider just sitting on his phone in the back i asked the front desk how much longer and then they gave it to me right away. clearly just not paying attention.

I went for a COVID booster shot. My appointment was at 11:30am and I was not seen until 12:45pm. The clinic needs more staff that can administer shots. There was one person working today that was able to and everyone else was kind of standing around.

Took my 6 year old there. The doctors and front desk were great and helpful but when it came to getting the results from my visit I had to make a televisit appointment and pay a copay just to get my results. I thought once you paid for your visit your results should be given in a timely manner and not to be paid for. will not be going back there, it is a rip off and I still dont have an explanation to the results.

I would not give even one star, they deserve ZERO service. I had COVID symptoms, did my test 4 days ago still waiting for results. How can you treatment patients while waiting for COVID test results for 4days when you have to attend work and have kids at home and dealing with your COVID symptoms. Staff is very unprofessional, have no update or idea when the results will be released. They gave Scam, playing with him pateint health and stealing insurance details only. When I am calling at center no one picking up my phone for last 3 days. This place has to be closed rather putting people and their families health at risk.

I’ve waited for 1 hour after appointment time to be serviced for 1 COVID Swab. The lady came in to my elderly family member and didn’t explain anything, just swabbed nose. As a nurse, I asked her where’s the label? Apparently she had it in the other room, because she left the room with the unlabeled tube….& wasn’t very friendly….

This place is never open on time. Currently waiting outside with 7 other patients for a 9am appointment and there is no sign of any employees. Lights are off, no signs on the window indicating a later start. This is the 4th time this has happened to me at this location. What’s the point of an appointment?

I caught a fist to the face. Went to Nao and received stitches after a 2 minute wait. I knew the service would be immediate. A year or so Prior a co worker at work sawed his hand open and they were able to connect the tissue without stitches because of the location and time arrived. I work 10 blocks away.

Made an appointment for 10:45, waited 40 minutes and only saw them call two other people in. So I walked to Doral urgent care at the end of the block—had my appointment, picked up my prescription, and went home. 1.5 hours later Nao finally texted me about my appointment. Moral of the story, go to Doral instead, much friendlier and faster.

Total scam. Advertised their USCIS exam for $129 and tried to charge me $470, despite me having all the required vaccines. There are way cheaper and better places in NYC!

Many times they have lost blood work and other labs. They would tell me that I wouldn't be charged again if I went to go redo them. That was a lie, was charged for going to redo them and the follow up call to tell me the results. Completely unacceptable.

I came here because I wanted a medical professional to take a look at my eyelid eczema that was especially painful today after a few weeks of it flaring up and down. The practitioner was being thoughtful and attempting determine what the issue could be, but ultimately I need to go back to my dermatologist. Which is fine. After saying she could offer me Tylenol and that pretty much was it, I figured I may as well get an STD test to make my $40 worth it. As I was about to get my blood drawn, the practitioner popped back in the room and asked if I knew what a BMI was. I said “yes”. She then said that she scheduled for a nutritionist to call me later this week. Without asking any questions about my lifestyle/habits/history, she just saw that I was fat at determined that some stranger should talk to me about it. Pretty unprofessional I think! Huge shout out to the woman who was working the front desk and also took my blood. Absolute queen. Truly good at what she does. It was the easiest and quickest blood drawing I’ve ever experienced in my life. She deserves better than this place.

Nao is such an It is the first place in many years that feels nice they are very friendly, 🥹Ariel the nurse who took care of me, the one at the front desk kai they behaved very well, the treatment is excellent..!! If I could give you 10, I would recommend it. I will never go to a place other than NAO MEDICAL again. Receptionist was really helpful. The wait and doctor were very slow. The place had, maybe 3 people waiting when I arrived. One was being seen. My appointment was for 12 and I arrived at 11:30. I didn’t leave until almost 2pm. If the ER could do DOT medical exams, I’d suggest you go there. The wait would probably be less.

I normally do not leave reviews but this is called for. First let me start off by saying my provider and medical assistant was very nice and professional and i have no issue with them and the service provided. My issue is the policy and the lack of putting patients first at Nao. I went into nao on Monday as an out of pocket paying patient. I was charged the 175 exam fee, 75$ that they stated i owed for a visit years ago. They told me they would call me back to discuss the results and follow up on if I'm feeling better after having swollen tonsils when I came in. I received a call on Thursday and the person notified me that my results were ready and can come in from the hours of 10pm-11pm to be seen by the provider. I stated that is very late can i receive the results over the phone. The two said no only a provider can provide the results which is understandable. I then explained to them that i am paying out of pockets is the follow up visit free. The rep stated no i would be charged another 175 for the co pay. In all my years (thank God i haven't to go to many) i have never heard a UC charge for a follow up visit or to discuss your results with a provider. NEVER. I worked in UC and this was never ever a policy. Follow up visits were free. NaoMedical only cares about money and not about their patients. The rep told me my best bet was to download the app and find my results myself if i didn't want to pay. I am disgusted and wish i went to another UC. I do not recommend them at all.

I was very impressed with the spontaneity of the front desk. I had some concern and he took his time, professionally, to seek for the right answer, the proper solution and outcome. The Doctor, the staff in general were awesome and very supportive. 5* all the way!

Front desk staff was great. The receptionist communicated effectively. Medical assistant was also kind and didn’t have an attitude like others I’ve dealt with at this location. The doc was also helpful. He was easy going and was able to help with my issue.

👍👍 Everyone at the office is so nice. Dr. Shelton took his time with me and explained all my options without pushing me into anything. He’s wonderful and I trust his expertise. 😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. 😠 ZERO STARS. They botched my blood sample and lab could not run my tests. Now they are playing a cat and mouse game with phone calls and emails. During my second visit, one of their 'assistants' (will keep 'them' anonymous) asked me for a job because this place doesn't pay them enough. They also have...
