Let me start by saying the cinnamon rolls here are the best in Fort Worth. Hands down, amazing dough. The remainder of the menu is special too, they serve a classic diner style menu with breakfast and lunch. As you can see by the pictures, they aren’t shy and make sure you are well fed. Great value and wonderful service from the crew.

It's been a years since I've been here. Finally made it back today and will be back more often now that I live close by. You can't get anything bad here. Just pick something that sounds good to you. You won't regret it and you won't leave hungry. Don't forget to order some cinnamon rolls. I ordered them to-go because I couldn't eat another bite after that meal.

We were disappointed. The coffee was not good at all. They didn't have any cinnamon rolls available at 8 am. The gravy tasted off. The fiesta omelet was ok, but needed salt. Hashbrowns were hard in some spots and raw on other parts. The kids pancakes were hard on the outside and doughy on the inside. Definitely would not return.

Loved the amazing food, the cinnamon roll it was just amazing. We ordered some scrambled eggs with bacon, with a biscuit and gravy side... Very tasty and delicious. The small jukebox gives this place a very nice retro touch. Definitely recommended.

We came in around 2:30 for a late lunch on Sunday, 11/12/23. Greeter was so friendly and nice, we sat in a booth and there were only a few other diners, but as we sat down, the table near us got a basket of YUMMY looking fried jalapeños, and we asked what those were… we decided to get those, and they came with buttermilk ranch that was freshly made. Crunchy, and just enough heat. Very large portion, so we decided on the small “lunch size” of the CFS. I chose Okra & Mashed potatoes as my sides, and my husband got mashed potatoes and corn. His corn was sooo good. I know it’s just corn, but it was really really sweet, and not overly seasoned. Next time Im getting my own! Big ol’ Ice Teas to wash it down! Almost forgot, they gave us a basket of freshly baked yeast rolls with strawberry butter which came before the food. 😋 There is NO WAY you’ll have room for the monster cinnamon rolls so we packed them to go. I did take a pinch of mine, and am looking forward to enjoying the rest of it in the morning with coffee. Good as always! It was our server’s 73rd birthday, and she was headed to Bingo night down the road, and I hope she won big, she was SUPER sweet. Everyone was. Ginger would be proud of the staff, and we hope she’s doing okay. 🙏🏼The new owners have a great staff, many of whom have been there over 30 years! It’s the same ol’ Ginger Browns, with that feeling that you’re family. 🥰 Now for a NAP!!

This was a great experience. The employees were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was excellent and the portions were quite large. We had the Texas triple with chicken fried steak and it was delicious. I took my wife and my son and none of us could finish our plates. We will definitely be going back. Also, there was plenty of parking and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

Amazing home-cooked feel-good food. Great prices and wonderful people. You can tell the staff genuinely care for everyone and that the food is made with love. The country-fried steak was delicious and their baked goods are something to write home about.

I love eating here. If your visiting Texas this cafe is where ya want to eat if you want to eat like a real Texan. Anything on the menu is available all day. I sometimes have pancakes for dinner and chicken fried steak for breakfast. They have great chopped steak with gravy to and lots of fresh hot coffee. Waitresses are also really nice. Don’t forget to get a cinnamon roll. It’s what they are famous for.

Where do I start ?? 20 minutes until drinks got delivered. 30 minutes till the order was taken. Our waitress said, "I've worked here 32 years." Yet she didn't know about the special or what the choices were, so she had to go look at the front. Then she came back because she forgot everything we ordered, yet she wrote it on a blank sheet of paper. Then she forgot to put both our orders in at the same time because she said, "I have too many tables and got things confused." My friend and I both asked, for eggs over medium. Both our eggs came out really runny. I sent mine back. Came out runny again. I said, just give me scrambled over medium. Mine as well asked for lightly scrambled. My friends pancakes.. 1 burnt and 1 well done. My sausage very well and dry. They definitely need a new cook. Found out Ginger doesn't own it anymore. They need to take Gingers name off of it. Ginger would not be happy. I can say the biscuit was really good !

Nise place, old jukeboxes were a nice touch. I had the chicken fried steak, a bit small but good.
