Great hot dog and fries special for $6.50 It was a bit cold in the dining room to eat on a February day, I felt like I was outside. Friendly staff and very clean.

Limited experience (only hot dogs on 2 different occasions), but food is good, plentiful fries, and at decent prices. The staff seemed to swing-through regularly to keep things clean.

Nice little hot dog joint in Lake Zurich right off Rand Road. Plenty of room inside and out. Patio out front if you want to eat outside with about 3-4 tables. 2 hot dog special with fries and a drink is a great value. Their hot dog buns have poppy seeds on them which is awesome and they give you a ton of fries. Their french fries look a lot like McDonald’s fries and taste great. Very enjoyable experience. Enjoy!

Got some carryout Chicago dogs from here last week. I live about 2 miles away. Not sure that this is ever avoidable with carryout dogs but they were ice cold by the time I got home. Fries were still toasty hot, but the dogs cold and the buns already getting soggy and collapsed. Cleaned off the fixings as best I could and heated the dogs in the microwave for 30 seconds. Disassembling the dogs was not a "bun-friendly" activity. 😂 Again, not sure if there's a good solution. Maybe wrapping the dogs in aluminum foil but that's definitely not eco-friendly. Dogs were good with no skimping on the hot peppers and the fries were plentiful!!!

Nice place to eat, the Italian beef was fantastic, the gardenaire was perfect. I'd recommend this place any time. The atmosphere was nice for a fast food place

Worst place ever 1-2 lbs of fires with a small little little cup of chili? Really people maybe for a toddler but an adult come on sonic gives more chili then you do waste of time over priced food. And you can’t get them to answer the phone put you on hold but help everyone else while your listening…

1950s style look and music. Food is always good, they do beef sandwiches, burgers, gyros, chicken sandwiches among others. I'm not that big on fries but theirs are outstanding thin and very crispy. Reasonably priced and clean. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Not sure what happened here. Looks like took leftover pieces of gyro meat & deep fried it. In any case it looks & was absolutely disgusting. If i didnt have a 15+ min drive in rush hour would go back get a refund. In any case definitely won't ever be getting this food again.

Always hot and fresh. Local family owned. Amazing variety of options on the menu. Difficult to not find something delicious . Classic variety of Chicago food ranging from Pizza Puffs, to Tamales as as well as Italian Beef, Sausage, hot dawgs etc. Some of my favorite French Fries around, the portions are enormous. They also offer Gyros which are amazing and some large tasty salads too. They offer a variety of kids meal deals too which is amazing. If your in the area, it's definitely worth a stop. Been a customer for many years and am always looking forward to the next time.

The place is super cute! The staff is amazing and very welcoming to every customer! The place is supper clean and organized. This was my first time in here and I will definitely come again bring my friends!

Nancy and I been going there since it open(2004) everything we got there was excellent. Best Hot Dogs in Chicago Area. Great owners. Nancy used to say that their salad was the freshest she ever had. 🙏❤️😇👍

I have been going there since they moved in. I have had at least half the items on the menu. Inside like a trip back in time. Love it.

Philly beef is as good now as it was years ago. It is excellent. I tried Philly with everything plus bacon and sport peppers the last time I ordered it. It will be very filling. I cut it in half with kitchen shears at home. I did not want to eat all of it with the french fries. I have tried for many years to avoid having a pot belly. Their chefs do a great job with what they are given. This beef might actually taste better than a poor quality steak. The bacon was cooked in a very satisfactory way. The beef juice is really tasty. I have also tried funnel fries in the past here. Nobody else has these things and they were good. If there was anything I did not like here, there might be a few things, but I don't remember what it is. Grilled chicken sandwich is healthy. I have highlighted things that could be outstanding for someone to eat.
