    Dr. Kaplan is best in class, demonstrating a remarkable level of thoroughness in her explanations, making complex information understandable for her patients. Moreover, her proactive approach to handling insurance applications on my behalf is highly commendable. I consistently schedule appointments with her when I visit Visibly Better Eye Care.

    Dr Baur did a great job with my eye exam, he was friendly and easy to speak with. The receptionist was also easy to work with.

    The receptionist was able to see me earlier than my appointment, to get things done more timely. The Doctor spent time with me and was the only one to ever tell me that my eyes each had a different prescription

    They will take your VSP insurance. They will perform all the services you request, politely and professionally, however, upon leaving you will be asked to settle up. What they do not tell you...they 'accept' VSP but they are in fact, not in network. In fact their invoice will have a deduction for 'insurance' however that deduction comes in the form of a claim THEY submit to VSP. You will be left with fighting between these folks and your own submitted claim for any reimbursement of services. Adding to the confusion, this office has nothing to do with Costco Optical, so the moment you try to use your benefits to purchase anything from Costco Optical, the insurance company will insist that you utilized a portion of your allotment for the purchase of contact lenses which according to their paperwork confuses and misleads your insurance company. This place will not help you with any of that...again, very kind, but it's your money and the insurers money they're after....They double dip by charging AFTER the exam, and mislead customers by taking their insurance cards before your exam and to add insult to injury, your insurer will pay the claim which they submit very quickly and before your claim is processed since they're a provider. This will you to untangle a huge mess, requiring hours of phone calls, being on hold with your insurer, scanning documents, with nothing to show for it. Not only this, but your ability to use either your exam benefits OR your allowance to purchase lenses is delayed in the process. STAY FAR AWAY!! Search for an insurer IN NETWORK and do not engage these folks. Consider yourself warned....

    Had my eyes examined at Costco, Lake Zurich, IL. Newest equipment, very professionally done. I was in and out very quickly and walked a few steps to purchase 3 new pairs of glasses at Costco!

    On time, attentive, Dr. Bauer was great at answering questions and addressing my concerns. The front desk help was also very courteous and efficient.

    Always love going there, my son was so comfortable. Dr.Bauer made his exam so fun for him. The staff was friendly and patient with my little guy. Thank you!
