Filipino
person
here.
If
you’re
looking
to
try
Filipino
food
in
the
area
and
this
is
your
first
time,
or
if
you
miss
the
cuisine,
this
is
THE
go-to
place.
It’s
only
to-go,
so
order
ahead!
From
someone
who’s
lived
in
Chicago
half
his
life
and
frequented
many
of
the
places
like
Kasama,
Uncle
Mike’s,
Bayan
Ko,
and
other
household
names,
this
place
is
right
next
to
each
of
them
in
my
heart.
I
often
miss
those
places
since
moving
out
to
the
far
NW
suburbs,
and
this
place
fills
the
gap
in
soulful
Filipino
food
that
I’ve
recently
been
yearning
to
fill.
Every
Filipino
will
tell
you…
the
best
Filipino
food
you
will
try
are
at
their
home
or
at
parties.
And
the
thing
is—
this
place
is
right
in
line
with,
or
the
next-best
to
a
home-cooked
meal.
Everything
on
the
menu
is
a
hit-
the
bbq
skewers
and
adobo
with
its
sweet
&
savory
bite,
to
the
custardy,
thick
and
rich
flan,
and
coming
back
with
the
garlic
fried
rice
&
pancit
like
how
Tita
and
Lola
would
make,
you
really
can’t
go
wrong
if
you
know
what
you’re
looking
for.
I’m
100%
coming
back
to
try
the
rest
of
the
menu
little
by
little.
PS
-
the
picture
doesn’t
do
it
justice
-
I
was
way
too
excited
to
try
everything
and
took
a
few
bites
of
everything
before
I
could
snap
a
shot.
