This is a private dog park. We found out after just googiling and trying to go that you need to sign up through Lake in the Hills town hall and getting a code for the gate. However, it's not that much money and it's worth it since it is so close to our house. It is well kept. There are two separate, good sized, grass pasture areas. One has a bunch of agility stuff (jumps, tunnels, ramps, teeter totter etc). The other had a few benches but a lot of open flat grass area. It's nice, just know, it's not really just "open to the public".

In general the people and dogs are nice. It’s very large and seems most people pickup after their dogs. The water fountain is a nice feature. If there was room for improvement I’d say add a walking path inside the dog park.

Great park! Plenty of room for dogs, multiple benches, some hurdles, a gazebo, and parking.

The park is great I went with a friend and his dog. Large area for the dogs to run around. There is smaller areas for training or for dogs that need a more closed area. Lots of dog obstacle for the dogs to play on. Locking gates to enter. People do good cleaning up after there dogs. I went to register my rescue and that is where I was turned away. They want you to have your dog for 6 months to register. Im not a resident so the price was a little high due to living across the street from the place but in Huntley. Lastly you have to go in by person to village Hall to register, with all the access to technology should be able to do it online. I get it they do all this to keep the place clean and numbers down. If you want to spend the time to register you won't be disappointed.

Great park for dogs and people! My 17 month old puppy really gets to run and play with the other dogs. This dog park is very well maintained, areas of fenced in play area, has benches, picnic tables, water, and Agility equipment for the dog's! Great job Lake in the Hills! 💗🐶💗

It’s a nice park I’m giving it 2 stars solely for the people who come here. I decided to bring my dog at an off hour so there wasn’t many people and I initially brought him in on a leash to get him used to the area since it was his first time here and these 3 women start exclaiming mean comments since my dog was leashed. There is no rule that says dogs can’t be on a leash in the park. I ignore them and bring my dog in a separate yard but the whole time I was there they kept harassing me and my dog. Very strange to be in someone else’s business especially when we were not bothering anyone.

10 Acre park but no seperate area for small dogs? I can't utilize this park because my 8 lb shitzu is afraid of larger dogs and won't move from my side. All they need to do is fence off a part near the adjustment area and add a gate.

Great place to take your dog. Easy access and well kept. Have been there about a dozen times. Very nice people use that park with with their dog. The dogs have a great time together running and playing. They have water bowls, extra leashes to use to bring your dog to and from the parking area for the dogs. Crystal lake park district could take some lessons from this doggie park.

Great for socializing your dog. We usually take our dog for 30 to 45 minutes to run around. She tires and sleeps like a rock at night..

We are across the street from Bark Park. Watching football. The whole area provides a nice breeze, and a good time. I do watch the dogs at Bark Park. They look like they are having fun.

My dog loves it here and the dog owners we've met are very nice. Everyone works together to keep it clean and a great place for dogs and owners to get together. Yearly membership price is not bad either.

The temporary code I was given didn't work. I had to wait until someone came out to go in. We just used the adjustment field for our first time. Other dogs seemed friendly that came in and out that entrance. Our dog wanted to play with them, but we want to get her adjusted better first. I'd like to try the agility area with her.

My son and grandchildren had the worse experience at this park. He was no aware that what you needed a membership a man immediately walked up to my son and said are you a member he said no tha. The guy said leave now or I'm calling the police. What calling the police so my son said how do I become a member the guy responded you have to apply at the township and if you don't leave now I am calling the police eventhough my son was walking out of the park. I found that to be very rude. I will be going back with my membership but that was really uncalled for to have 4 little girls crying thanking their dad was about to go to jail how rude.

The Bark Park is wonderful. It is well kept and plenty of room for the dogs to play. My one complaint, and I have spoken to the Park and Rec. Depart, is that there is only one section that is an acclamation area. I always have to wait to exercise my dogs, because people are waiting in line. I sure wish they could make a few more small areas.
