Working with Becky has been a game changer for my physical health. Her attentiveness and high value for meeting the needs of her clients has served as such an incredible encouragement on my Physical Therapy journey. She’s made our appointments engaging, practical, and even fun!

This is my 3rd physical therapy at Athletico Lake in the Hills. All the therapists that were there years before are still there. I feel safe at all times and each session increases strength and endurance. The therapists are very knowledgeable. I would never consider going anywhere else for therapy. My internist initially referred me to Athletico because they hire only the best therapists.

I broke both bones in my right wrist. After 16 sessions of OT in Florida I had minimal improvement. I thought I'd never use my right hand again. Then I found this LITH location - and Susan! Due to my injury, 100% was never an option. I'm close though! Susan always made sure I could replicate at home what I'd done in OT. The variety of tools and modalities was wonderful. I loved that my progress was accurately and consistently tracked. The environment was always so pleasant that I actually will miss the comraderie of the therapists, staff and patients. Spoiler alert: Susan doesn't let you cheat!

I highly recommend this location for any therapy needs. I had hand surgery on both of my hands this summer and received OT from Jodie Auliff and Susan Meinhardt. They are so knowledgable, friendly, patient, caring and just all around great people. I actually enjoyed my OT sessions with both of them. This is my 3rd time at Athletico "for different reasons " this staff is the best! I would highly recommend this place, they know what they're doing, say hi to Becky she's the best! Plenty of parking and make sure you get a donut on the way out next door at DD

I had LRTI surgery (Ligament Reconstruction & Tendon Interposition for arthritis at the base of my Right thumb). It was a tough choice to have this surgery, esp since I'm rt handed. I presented to Jodie 7 weeks after surgery, unable to use a fork with rt hand, zip & snap my jeans, tie my shoes etc. I had just had a bout of swelling of hand & I was trying to not be frustrated. Jodie showed compassion & patience & encouraged me to take the baby steps that lead to more challenging therapies, always noting the progress I had made since the week before. The Fluidotherapy machine was wonderful, allowing me to move my fingers with ease. When Jodie had a day off & Susan was my therapist, I found her very knowledgeable & helpful.Throughout the months,I witnessed them both administering to other patients with horrible accidental injuries, with empathy & patience & encouragement. I have & will continue to recommend Athletico in Lake in the Hills for the friendly people at the front desk & the professional friendly hand therapists, Jodie & Susan.

I would like to highly recommend Athletico for physical therapy. I came in with numerous issues, and Karen succeeded in analyzing and treating all of them. I was always welcomed by the front desk, and any person who assisted me was courteous and professional.

I highly recommend Athletico PT in LITH's! Michael Meier is a wonderful PT. I had a sciatica issue and Michael made it disappear! Michael is very personable! What I liked most about Michael is that he explains everything he is doing in great detail and teaches you how to do what needs to be done after you leave the office for a full recovery. Michael helped my wife with a lower back injury and she insisted that when my issue came up that I needed to have Michael do my my PT! Once again my wife was 100% right and I highly recommend Michael and Athletico LITH, 5 stars!

I broke my wrist and had to have a plate put in to hold it together. I was told I needed Occupational Therapy. I was so fortunate to find Athletico Lake in the Hills. Very friendly desk people, very clean and concerned with not passing germs. The best was my OT therapist, Susan. She got my left wrist functioning almost to the same level as the right wrist. She was very friendly, yet professional. She really knows her stuff and I almost didn’t mind going to Therapy.

My experience was beyond excellent! Everyone was patient and very helpful with my needs. Lori my therapist was detailed with my work program and all of her aids were positive too. Very pleased! Would recommend this location to anyone who is in need of physical therapy

Jennifer has been my go to therapist following two surgeries in recent years. She is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and pays attention to what works to motivate you to do your best. I’ve never had a question go unanswered or a need overlooked. If I am in need of therapy again I won’t hesitate to call her again.

I had a wonderful therapy experience at the Athletico Lake in the Hills. Michael was an amazing PT who was always working with me to help me get better each session. He listened to all my concerns, and really helped me improve from my surgery. He is kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He pushes you within your limits to make progress quickly but also very safely. He also took time to explain why my motion was limited or why I was feeling tightness so I understood how to work through it while at home and during my sessions. Michael came highly recommended to me and I would absolutely recommend him as well to anyone who needs a PT. The rest of the staff that I cam into contact with was also super friendly and kind. I highly recommend Athletico Physical Therapy - Lake in the Hills to anyone who needs physical therapy.

I have had a great experience using Athletico in Lake of the hills. My therapist was Karen Shanahan. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped me heal with great strategies. She tried to answer the many questions I had about my problems and helped ease my concerns. All of the staff were helpful, efficient and very respectful. The facility was clean and they accommodated my schedule. I have used different facilities for therapy before and this was the best.

Jody and Susan are amazing Occupational Therapists. They truly care about your recovery. They are very thorough taking time to explain and answer any questions. They care about how you are feeling both physically and mentally. I have been in OT for 6 months for a nerve surgery in my elbow and with their help have made amazing progress. Im so thankful for them. They know their stuff. I wouldn’t be this far in my recovery with out them. Also the front desk staff is so efficient and truly cares. I’m so thankful to Peggy and for making sure I received the therapy I needed and Jeanine for always being so helpful when I made my appointments.

Great place with a great staff. Karen S was simply great, effective, informative, and caring. She can live next door to me !!! Reception staff is on their game and the place is spotless. Great follow up and great results. What more can you ask for??

This facility is top notch!! Appointments are on time, every time, and PT Michael and OT Susan are both amazing therapists. I had significant injuries and they both guided me through to healing with kindness and extensive knowledge. Thank you to both of them and the rest of the staff!

I had the privilege of working with Karen Shanahan and her team at this Athletico location. Karen is an excellent listener and an expert at helping me alleviate the pain from my back injury. She was patient with me as I asked lots of questions and both Karen and her entire team were always very nice to work with. It’s easy to see that they really enjoy what they do helping people recuperate from injuries and pain. The vibe was always positive and fun, plus the facility is clean, organized, well lit and located in a very convenient area right off of Randall Road. My wife has also been a patient at this location and we both highly recommend it.

Went there at the "suggestion" of my doctor for therapy after trigger finger surgery. My therapist was Jodie Auliff. When I started therapy I was given instructions and exercises. Noticed significant improvement in about a week and almost 100% after a few weeks. Definitely would use her again if needed and highly recommend her for hand therapy.

Just finished my occupational therapy in Athletico with Susan M. after I broke my wrist playing Pickleball. My experience was very positive and uplifting, entire staff was very supportive.My therapist Susan helped me to get my wrist back, always attending to my needs providing me with all the necessary material and advice. I enjoyed every minute spent with her, she helped me tremendously. Thank you very much for everything and I will definitely recommend Athletico in Lake in the Hills

I highly recommend this location for occupational and physical therapy. Susan was fabulous as my main O.T. and at times I had Jodie, who was also super Fab. I went from barely being able to use my hand to a complete recovery. Michael was amazing as my physical therapist, he truly wants you to succeed and get all strength back, even though he'll make you work hard. Honestly, they're all great, I've worked one on one with everyone and enjoyed them all. Front staff is also super sweet, patient and helpful with scheduling appointments. I will definetly return again if there are any more future injuries, but let's hope not.
