What an elegant experience that is different than any restaurant I've been too. The wild game is very tender and flavorful. I would recommend to try the wild game trio because its always changing and it gives you a chance to try different game animals. The dessert was also delicious. Overall the food was presented extremely well, flavorful, and the waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. I would recommend for a date night!

Taste the new taste of Crystal Lake! Great long list of wines, local foods and drinks. The New dinner menu is so delicious! Wife and I had to share! Also Very impressed with employees here. Even the water boy! They made great eye contact, right there when we needed, warm and welcomed. And not over the top. Candle lite dinner. And who could turn down desert! Highly recommended. Come on all friends, family, visitors and Crystal Lake locals. Dinner here is a must here!

Where to begin! Boulder Ridge Country Club was incredible to work with in planning our August 2021 wedding and were so accommodating when we initially decided to postpone from August 2020 to August 2021. During our planning Boulder Ridge hired a new Private Events Director and Coordinator, Sara and Gianna did not miss a beat and got right up to speed! I really appreciated the attention to detail and many suggestions Sara provided as we coordinated the logistics of the reception. The food, drink, cake - everything was incredible and we could not have had a more perfect day! Our guests are still raving about the wedding.

A friend of ours had a wedding reception here and it was a great time. Make sure you go in the correct entrance (not the one off of 62). Staff was very accommodating and professional. Had a good experience!

I am currently standing here finishing up a wedding in which we provided DJ services as well as the photo booth. I must say, the staff here are so amazing! They take care of things so efficiently and they are very polite to work with. The food was delicious and they kept to the timeline seamlessly. Kudos Boulder Ridge!

Elegant dining in a relaxed atmosphere. I had the lamb chops. There was 2 very large chops, both cooked to perfection, medium rare, and they were very tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were buttery and mashed with the skins, which I love. My wife also enjoyed her scallops and rice. Our server was very pleasant and the entire waitstaff was very attentive to our needs. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, the Escargot appetizer, some of the best we have ever had.

A few weeks ago, I attended a "Pours With Purpose" breast cancer benefit at Boulder Ridge Country Club. What an exquisite evening! The presentation, which was well-orchestrated, was also informative and included a mix of Northwestern Memorial professionals and a particular brave woman who shared her story of living with metastatic breast cancer. I had the pleasure of speaking to her after she spoke. I told her about my daughters, Netta and Jennifarre. Both had been diagnosed with cancer. I told her that if Netta had survived, she would be doing exactly what she was doing--telling her story in the hope that it would inspire others. The event featured a silent auction and wine pull, an open bar, and "chef inspired food and wine pairings." I especially enjoyed the made-to-order pasta entrees. It was a great evening. I would gladly visit Boulder Ridge again. Elegant and very satisfying.

Wonderful venue for special events. The staff was great to work with, the food was really good (most mass produced banquet food isn't that great), and the views/location was lovely. Best of all is the affordability.

Was driving through the country club neighborhood and ran into Chris the head golf pro for the Boulder Ridge country club. It was 46 degrees outside wind blowing hard. It was really cold to say the least. And Chris had the respect to stop and get out of his golf cart and talk to me and ask me how my day was going. Not only the fact that he said hi but also the fact that he could have had someone else driving around in the cold checking up on the golf course making sure it was %100. But he was the one doing it. Class act guy and when someone does that you begin to think and wounder if the head golf pro is working that hard putting in %110 how hard or even harder the rest of the employees are working at the Boulder Ridge country club? Lead by example. #1 Country club in Illinois :)

Best place in the area for events of any kind. My godson's wedding turned out fantastic. Food was fresh and high quality, and the staff service was superbly professional. Clean facility with views overlooking gorgeous ponds and golf course landscpe. Definitely coming back, maybe to play golf next time.

LOVE IT! Only Private Golf Club in the area, but love how welcoming everyone we've met. Every employee we have encountered has been absolutely amazing. Genuine smiles all around.

If you are looking for a venue to hold a wedding reception, a graduation party, or some other happy event then this is the place to visit. I have been here for all of the events I have mentioned. The food was very good and we all had fun. So look here if you are looking to have a special event.

slow service at the bar, arrived close to 4pm open, they mentioned they were still getting ready once he offered service, not sure if the staff should start preparing earlier so that they can help customers when they open or of one of the several people behind the bar could have taken a moment to service the customer and then go back to their opening duties.

Absolutely Authentic, Best Food Ever, Christina was an awesome waitress, the bar is packed to the gills with great drinks. It may seem pricey but it’s definitely worth it. Spent 400$ (We got a lot though) the first night we went and I have no regrets.

The finest entirely gluten free restaurant in the Northwest Suburbs. If you follow a gluten free diet, you will smile when you see the menu. Absolutely wonderful service is the icing on the cake, gluten free of course.

1776 certainly deserves a 5 star rating. We dined there tonight and both the food and the service were absolutely top notch. It began with the warm greeting when we walked through the door and the pleasant comfortable seating in the outdoor patio. The service was spot-on and the drinks were perfectly crafted. The crab cake appetizer was one of the best I've ever tasted, including those I've had in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Rhienna, the owner, stopped by our table for a chat and to make certain that everything was perfect - which it was. And the entrees, my goodness it is obvious that the chef settles for nothing less than excellence. We capped our night with coffee and a flouless chocolate cake which must be tasted to be believed. If fine dining in a warm and friendly atmosphere (without the pretentiousness) is what you're after, there is no better option than 1776.

White chevy like car/truck with 1776 on the back window, i watch her driving like an animal by Andy's restaurant almost hit someone for the second time. Please ask them to slow down. I understand you have deliverys to make, but this is just unreasonable.

1776 is my favorite restaurant. They are 100% gluten free so I'm able to eat here with my celiac diesase without worry. Their food is unique and delicious. It's the only place we go for date night.

Their food is always incredible. My specific faves are their steaks, meatloaf, boar meatballs, duck liver pâté, and fish tacos. The ambiance of the restaurant is one the best around. The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming. During COVID19, I have been ordering their contactless curbside and couldn't be happier.

Fantastic! I own Moving N Grooving DJs and I worked an event here last night and this place is amazing! As a DJ, I am in a lot of rooms and work with a number of banquet managers and staff. Not only is this place beautiful the staff is outstanding. Sarah & Anthony we a pleasure to work with and the food was delicous! I can't wait to be in this room again!

Went there for a wedding. Beautiful setting. The staff was awesome. (The staff gets 5 stars!!) Had some issues though. Every glass on our table (24 glasses) was dirty. The staff replaced them all right away. My son got his dinner. He found hair in the green beans. Unfortunately, he lost his appetite & didn't want another plate.

Visited the BRCC on a weekday during the lunchtime hours for a Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce meeting in the banquet hall. This is a great venue which is elegant but not over the top. We were served a nice mixed greens salad with rolls followed by a baked chicken, potatos, and vegetable dish, followed by a chocolate cake for dessert. The salad was fresh, the chicken dish hot and delicious, and the cake was over the top! Also enjoyed a fresh brew iced tea and a great cup of coffee. If you are looking for a meeting, party, or wedding venue the BRCC should be added to your list.

We recently had our wedding at Boulder Ridge and everything was way above our expectations! Gianna and Sara were so helpful with everything and never said no to what we wanted to do! They made the wedding planning process so easy and stress free and everything looked beautiful on the day of the wedding. I could not recommend Boulder Ridge enough!

New friends invited us because they are members. Service was impeccable. My friend sent her fish back because she said it, "smelled fishy." I ordered the "skin-on" salmon and guess what NO SKIN. My son was a bit undercooked and had no flavor. The bar and the views are amazing.

I've never been disappointed by an event held at Boulder Ridge! Every luncheon, wedding, dinner (and last night the Sheriff's Ball) has been wonderful. Good food, great staff and a beautiful atmosphere. I'm hosting an event there in a few months and they've been so easy to work with.

The course is fantastic & so well cared for. Their staff has always been kind, attentive, and professional. Love attending events here.

Amazing upgrades to pool area & golf course - HIGHLY recommend

Fantastic venue to spend a day at for your wedding. From the bridal suite, outdoor landscaping and elegant ballroom, Boulder Ridge is the top club house in the area with ample stunning backdrops for your wedding photos and video.

The interior is nice and the staff are very helpful. We didn't use the restaurant, but went to a dinner event in one of the other rooms. The bar service was great - friendly and efficient. The carpet on the floor looked darkened/damaged in various areas of the room. Not a big deal, but it probably needs replacing. Restrooms were nice and clean. But the toilet paper replacement rolls should not be placed on the rear of the toilet because it's not very sanitary there and water condensates/pools. The live band speakers were too loud for the room size and made it nearly impossible to have a conversation at the dinner table. The appetizer table had very tasty things that looked like they go with crackers. But there weren't any crackers, and no known spot to put our used plates after we were done with them. Dinner was great - filet mignon cooked perfectly, chicken, and julienned vegetables. Valet service seemed like they needed more staff after the event, it was just one guy running around doing his best. It was a long wait for our car. I rated this venue more strictly than a typical restaurant because it is a country club, held to higher standards.

Excellent meal, excellent service. This is a private club, however if you are not a member and can attend an occasion as a guest, suggest you do. Lovely setting, especially in summer, but a warm and welcoming feeling year round.

Had dinner here for the first time. The place is beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! But the main dinner course wasn’t that great. The soup was good until I found a bone in the meat. The meat loaf was absolutely huge but was dry, wasn’t cooked all the way and was very very salty. The vegetables were made perfectly! I also did not have a good time with the amount of parents letting their kids run around the dinning area coming in and out of the bathroom making a mess in there. Making the counter wet and using all the towels to clean it all up. The music playing in the dinning area was all over the place as well. Very beautiful place but wasn’t impressed with how it’s being ran.

I’ve been a member for several years. Love all the I friends I’ve made, not to mention one of the best golf courses around. Kudos to Janet, Andrew, Lexi, and Jose! Top notch service every time.
