We had fun during the cruise ride. They will take you until Raymond island if you are going for 2.5 hours of ride. During the ride, we saw the birds, and seals at Lakes Entrance location. You will also get the feel of the city of Venice where the houses are at the bank of river and tourists enjoying in the water. I took a star off as there's nothing more to look out for during 2.5 hours for $55.

Had a wonderful cruise. Had lunch at the Metung hotel which was very good. Would recommend the cruise. The staff were friendly and very insightful. Went on the 70 km trip today to Raymond is and Paynesville. Enjoyed the trip.

Had a beautiful day on the Seabird ferry with a trip from Lakes Entrance to Metung and return. We got to see kangaroos and seals and lots of different water birds. We stayed at the Metung Hotel for lunch and a few beers which made the trip so worth it. The sun was out and it was such a beautiful day. The commentary along the way was very interesting and educational. There is no need to pack anything, like snacks as they’re all provided onboard at a small cost. You can even get a beer or wine and looking at the prices were cheaper than the local pubs.

Such a wonderful ride.. loved it. We planned for morning ride, but didn't know that tickets should be booked or reserved earlier. Book your tickets before and enjoy the ride. Had a good tea and snacks. Spending time in this ocean makes us new from inner.Suuch a refreshing experience.

Good experience using Peels Cruises for a trip of Gippsland Lakes. Booking was easy on the phone. They also have an office at the Post Office jetty from where the boats begin the cruise. The tour guide gave lengthy descriptions of attractions enroute. There is ample space on the boat and we could move our chairs around for best views. The 3 hour boat ride was a nice experience

Nice 4h cruise. Great time spent. Lots of different birds and animals to see. Lunch was great. Nice venue with great service. Worth paying extra for 4h. However, the stopover at Metung is a bit short for a stroll around the village. Lunch service could definitely be shorter.

Absolutely loved the cruise, the skipper and Mel were both personable. Some great information provided throughout the cruise. We saw seals and plenty of different birds on our trip. It was a highlight of our trip to Lakes Entrance.

Facilities were fine and tour route interesting. This was, however, such a missed opportunity to be informed about the magnificent waterways, flora and fauna. I learned more about the area from the the information at the lookout. An extremely expensive boating experience for a family.

Fantastic lunch cruise to Metung .lunch is included in the cruise price. The cruise was great as was the commentary. Where given plenty of time to have a yummy lunch at the local hotel and then time to walk around the town to look at the pretty beach and the lovely shops. Well worth doing had a great and fun time.

Haven't gone on the cruise yet, but Amanda at the booking counter was just awesome, excellent customer service!! Just got on board, very crowded, we are sitting in the middle of the top deck in the enclosed area, if I knew the trip was gonna be this crowded, I wouldn't have come. I don't recommend this cruise on a Sunday, as far as I'm concerned. Update: The Captain allowed us into the cabin, beautiful view, Thank You Captain, you redeemed my excitement!! It turned our to be great, kudos to the Captain, You, Amanda & Alan did a Stella job. Cheers!!

Extremely enjoyed the cruise. It was the first time for me, second time for my mum and dad. It was very well worth it. We got to see a lot of things along the way. Lots of bird life and a few seals!

We had a great time on an afternoon sightseeing cruise on the Thunderbird. It's a great way to see more of Lakes Entrance. Unfortunately, we didn't see much wildlife - just some black swans and a few sleepy sea lions. It's easy to book - just call the phone number. Everyone on the cruise was very professional and nice. There was plenty of seating.

After issues with my phone I was able to book via email with the amazingly helpful Amanda. The cruise was everything we expected and we were very lucky with the weather. The Lakes are beautiful and we saw lots of seals and pelicans. A lovely way to spend some time exploring Lakes Entrance and Metung. Thanks Amanda 😁
