Ate in on the way home from winter camping. Loved all the menus and especially coffee and home-made biscuit! Super-friendly staff was very attentive.

Finally open for business and had to try it out. This very nicely restored vintage building is now home to Opus. Was greeted at the door and seated by a new staff member. I was presented with very good house coffee. I ordered the skillet. What a feast. Please Caramelize the veggies a little bit or possibly season something just a little. I found the veggies were raw but the overall meal didn’t really have much flavour. The hashbrowns in it were ok but the bacon or something in it was cut very small and was very chewy. The ham and sausage were tasty and the hollandaise was just ok. The waitress did forget the toast at time of order but came around before the meal was served to make sure it was out with my meal. The service was good overall and will definitely be back. Parking was ample, barrier free and even had a ev charger. I didn’t realize how small the restaurant was until I got inside. To the owner - the skillet bowl does not fit on this plate and it kept rocking out of control. I would have taken it off the plate but it was so hot I couldn’t. One POS system for the floor may not be great. If one goes down you won’t have backup but I’m only bringing it up as it took a while for me to pay my bill.

Fantastic home cooked breakfast!The servers were so kind. Great portions and the price was very reasonable. We took our Mom here for her birthday and she ate for free!

I've had the good fortune to have given more than one 5-star rating to different establishments over the past few days, but I have to do that again with this wonderful restaurant. More than wonderful. I ate here with my aunt and cousin who had been telling me about the place. They were right to rave about it. Really nice atmosphere, the "special " of the day (chicken pot pie) was to die for! The strawberry shortcake was the same... I will be visiting this place regularly. The staff here will make you feel right at home.

Debbie and staff are welcoming, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. A sweet cafe designed with a friend and family environment in mind! Very reasonably priced. Sufficient amounts and great coffee. Always look forward to next visit. Hours have recently extended which is great for customers. Thank you for following your dreams Debbie!!

We have been to have breakfast now, two times. The atmosphere is so quiet and warm. You can enjoy the company of the person you are with. The food is excellent! The service is excellent. The value is also excellent. My husband and I eat out a lot. This is my new favourite breakfast place! I look forward to trying more of the menu. Please support this local talent. You will be glad you did!

Lovely little spot, was very happy to have stopped in, extremely reasonable pricing for great food. Service was great, and was very kind, quick and helpful. The cafe was very clean and the atmosphere was lovely!

Oh my goodness! By far one of the best brunches I have ever had in HRM. Staff are attentive and amazingly friendly. Food was perfection. Tea biscuits were the best I have ever had. It was my first time but most definitely will not be my last.

Deb and Glen have really made such a wonderful and cosy little cafe! The atmosphere is tastefully decorated and very relaxing. The service was friendly and the food was great! They serve a good cup of coffee too!

What a great little spot! I drive by here almost daily and finally stopped in with my little one. It's very nice, cozy and clean inside. The food was great and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Opus needs to up the quality of the bread used for their sandwiches. I don't go to a restaurant to eat a Wonderbread kind of bread. I ordered a turkey sandwich, did not hear it was deli turkey, deli turkey should not even be an option. Very disappointing lunch. I heard the fish &chips with homemade taters and eggs bennie were very good.

We had our first meal today at Opus Cafe and it definitely won't be our last. The food was fantastic. Our food choices were the roast beef sandwich with gravy and a chicken pot pie with a Greek salad. Both dishes were great!! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. The owner, Debbie Vaillancourt and staff were all very friendly and took time to visit with us. It was a great experience and highly recommend this business.
