The Queen Street Charlottetown Prince Edward Island Delta Hotel is a great and fantastic place to have events and you can have banquets and you can say for the night or as many nights that you need and The Breakfast comes with the price and the staff is friendly and helpful too

I did not stay at the hotel. I only attended a conference. The conference rooms and bathrooms were always clean and rooms were easy to find. Staff was friendly and helpful. The views and location were amazing. Only issue was that it was very clear staff had not been properly trained when it came to dietary restrictions. Staff did not know the difference between vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. When asked about food ingredients and allergens, they were often not sure or gave incorrect answers because they just didn’t understand. This is not the serving staff’s fault as they should be given proper training on dietary restrictions and the fact that all servers were having issues with this shows that it is the Delta that needs to increase training and support for their staff.

I booked a room here in February for a stay in July. I booked a room with a king sized bed. It was over priced but for one night I figured why not. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to come into town two days early and got the last room at the hotel which was a queen room, but I took what I could get and that was fine. I checked out of my queen room, planning to come back later in the day to check into my king room as per my reservation and as per the usual 11am checkout, 3pm check in. Between 11am and 3pm I received three phone calls from the hotel. The first because I had forgotten to take the "do not disturb" sign off my door so staff couldn't go clean the room. I explained that I had already checked out and they knew this, but apologized for leaving the sign on the door. First time that's ever happened, but not a big deal. Then I got two more calls from management because they stated they were overbooked and they tried to downgrade me to a pull out couch in a suite they were splitting into three. They acted as though it was my problem they were over booked. I finally settled on another queen room at a discounted price so that they'd stop calling me as I was busy. Rediculous experience. I've never seen anything like it. Poor communication from staff. Rooms certainly aren't worth what they're charging. I've never had such a hassle over a one night stay at a hotel in my life. Certainly won't be back, there's other hotels downtown to choose from.

Upon arrival our room wasn’t ready and we were late to check in… Paid $650 for a small room, with no kitchen area at all. Tiny mini fridge barely enough to fit any snacks and food. Room was cracking on the walls and not very spacious. “Water front” view was of the roof and barely anything to see. Bathroom didn’t have a bathtub only a shower. Pool was great and open 24/7. Hotel lobby was nice and food at the restaurant part was amazing. Wouldn’t recommend unless you wanted to be right on main st Charlottetown. Too pricey for what you get.

These lovely people! Treated me like a queen on my birthday. So unexpected and sweet. Upgraded our guests to an amazing suite per our request. Very nice hotel in the heart of Charlottetown surrounded by amazing restaurants and some righteous ice cream. Easy drive to all the beautiful PEI has to see. Absolutely perfect stay. Thank you Delta PEI!! 🥰

Was going to stay 2 nights but left after the first night, left at 930am on a Sunday morning because they thought it was ok to do construction on one of the rooms at 8am, after a call to the front desk and continuing banging, drilling and sawing I left. The front desk was like, o we are sorry and we will look into it. Terrible service, will not go back to this hotel.

Super easy check-in. Only bad point is the parking situation... Vehicles MUST be no taller than 6"4" tall. The only other complaint is you pay a premium for the stay, but have to pay extra to park at the property (underground garage).

Recently stayed here, staff were great and room was prepared to our preference. The hotel has a medium sized pool great for kids and a gym with high end cardio equipment and free weights. The hotel’s restaurant The Waters Edge, was wonderful.

The hotel breakfast is chaotic. Both mornings we had a long wait to be seated. One morning 11 people were in line waiting. The management of the morning breakfast shift should revisit their seating procedures.

Great location but staff need training. If check in is 3 pm then you need to have rooms ready for that or make a later check in time. Large groups of tour buses stay here as well so keep that in mind. By far the worst Delta I've stayed at

We stayed at this location this past weekend, and we found it to be a nice hotel. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The only thing that we found a bit annoying was that room service was at our door at 8:30 am, which seemed early to be disturbing guests. But overall, it was a great stay.

The restaurant service is not good. They are slow to clear tables, bring out the food and you have flag someone down to get a second cup of coffee. The rooms and the rest of the hotel staff are great. The location is great. There is a nice fitness area with pool, hottub and sauna.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple times now, and it’s always been a wonderful experience! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, as well as a fantastic location for wandering around downtown Charlottetown!

Went there for their New Year's Eve dinner with musical entertainment. The table d'hôte menu offered sufficient choices. Food was interesting and delicious. Music (by Todd MacLean & Justin Simard) was great. Price was right.

The entire hotel has a dated 1990s early 2000’s vibe. Every surface of the hotel, and our room, is either dirty, chipped, stained or worn out. The pool area - that used to be made of white tiles and grout - is discolored and beige. The lighting is fluorescent, and unpleasant. There was no value for the money for this room, which cost over $400 for a night. Pictures included.

Room was nice, bed very comfortable. Was there for a conference and the conference amenities were excellent - other than the fact that there were no gluten free options the first day until they were asked for - but that may or may not have been their fault. Also- be aware that this Delta puts the room charge on your credit card daily during the stay as a hold; then you pay the entire bill when you leave, but it takes 13 business days for them to release the daily charges. This can affect things terribly if you have a longer vacation planned after you leave the Delta and want to continue to use that credit card as you go.

Very nice hotel downtown Charlottetown right near the water. Rooms are standard, nothing to write home about but functional and nicely appointed. Very overpriced I must say, paid over $500 for a Tuesday night in June so not worth it. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Large bar and restaurant in the lobby with a good vibe. However, there are still elements of an old outdated hotel, so if they renovated this property it would be top notch. Probably would not stay here again for the price, but the location cannot be beat.

My name is Emily Le - President of the Canadian Vietnamese association on PEI (VietPEI). We organized an event on January 15, 2023 with over 450 attendees. Fantastic hotel! Excellent customer service, efficient process. Policy was specific to our needs. The attention to detail provided by Hai Nguyen was impressive and his customer service skills are excellent. Hai Nguyen is awesome, great customer service, knowledgeable, great personality. We will book again through Hai Nguyen.

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for my first visit to PEI. Located at the water’s edge - provides an ideal place to walk to the many local shops and restaurants. The rooms are stylish and updated. The welcome gift, chocolate covered chips, was a delightful treat. The service was attentive and kind. The underground parking, while a bit expensive (imho), provides for in and out privileges! If you are an earlier riser, or want to watch the sunset, the sitting area provides the perfect place. Can’t wait to be back.

The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful views of the city and water. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Lots of amenities and has a fantastic restaurant. There are tons of local restaurants and shops just steps away. Highly recommend

Arrived at 3pm, to check in for our Christmas Dinner Party and the room I reserved. The receptionists took my information, they were super helpful and kind to help me out with my situation. Parked my car for the night and grabbed my luggage, a good little walk. Great looking room, great food, a epic night out and an awesome sleep. No hangover either 😅. Showered in the morning and checked out by 9 am. I'll be glad to return for another night at the Delta!

Great Hotel! Staff were very friendly and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make sure our room was clean and had some special touches. Great location downtown, very close to all the downtown amenities.

The food was terrible the pizza, hamburger and calamari were burnt. The salmon was great. Coffee was excellent but why aren't you buying local. We don't need Starbucks when we have so many roasters in Atlantic Canada. Delta used to serve Justus from Nova Scotia. It was so delicious. The waitress was fantastic.

I had the absolute worse experience staying at Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward Hote from the beginning to the end. Upon arrival (4pm) we were told that our room wasn't ready yet and to wait around for 15min or so to get our room ready. We thought 15min was fine so we waited in the lobby. Went back to the front desk 15min later and was told that another 30min was needed. Okay, what could you do? So we walked around for another 30min, came back, and then were told they needed another hour to 1.5 hour. At this point, we were impatient, frustrated, and very very tired. I think we may have been less frustrated it they told us from the get-go the actual wait-time instead of playing us around. In the end, we finally managed to get to our room around 7:30pm, BUT they told me then that the room we originally booked (the water view) is not available anymore. Really? You couldn't have told us that before waited 3+ hours for the room? We were changed to a different room type priced at a lower price than our original room, yet I still have not received that refund 1.5 months later, and every time I try to call the line to the hotel is always busy. I guess this is just a hotel of empty promises and disrespect for their customer's trust. The room was okay during the stay, but the sheets were really quite dirty. Visible spots of blood were found on the sheets, leading me to question whether or not they were properly cleaned. Absolute worst experience in every way. 10/10 would not recommend staying here.

The hotel location on the waterfront is perfection. However it was the care and attention to detail from our housekeeper Irina (Trina?) that really made our stay memorable. The room looked so lovely after her work was complete. Made us feel pampered and so well taken care of ! 🙏

Had a nice experience at this property thanks to the lovely staff. Front desk was very helpful in check-in process. Room service is as prompt and professional as possible. Rooms were clean, nice TV too! Great views of the marina if you get the right room. Will aim to stay here again if visiting Charlottetown.

We stay here every trip to PEI. It is perfectly located on the waterfront and the pool, kiddie pool, hot tub and sauna are GREAT! They are so much better than the Halifax Waterfront Marriott. They are much newer and very spacious. We always know what we are getting here with comfy rooms and the typical room service menu. We LOVE that they have in room movies Netflix and Prime. We love movie nights with room service after long days of exploring the beaches. The BEST pina coladas EVER!
