The food as below par. The potato skins came burnt. The waitress was not attentive at all. Too busy chatting with friends. It was at least year that ate there. Food was fair then. Thought local business give them another try. Well will not be going back

Great service, great food. The atmosphere was quiet for the early afternoon. The lounge is poorly lit. Some of the members in our party received their steak over cooked.

A really traditional Maritime type restaurant. Quaint with extra friendly staff and home cooked food. The place has been around since the '70s so that should tell you something. My claims and chips was enough for 4 but I ate them all because they were so good. If you want a true taste of Nova Scotian life and hospitality than stop by this place

I ordered the 'Seafood Trio'. The Food was Amazing. Great tasting, lots of food On the plate was a - HUGE piece of Haddock - 3 Huge Breaded Scallops - large great tasting Shrimp -Coleslaw

well we ordered 2 meals and an app, my meal was half ( ordered hamburger steak)missing and was told it would be brought right out, well I finished my meal and it still wasn't out, server brought it out as we were paying the bill!didn't even offer a discount, crowd was really loud and yelling & cursing. Felt bad for the table of 6 beside us, they all got meals at separate times!

The wings were tasty, their service was friendly even while super busy. This is a warm place to eat some wings and listen to some live music.

DO NOT GO HERE OWNER IS A CLOWN. Few weeks ago I went to tbr for a couple drinks to relax after a hard week. I got attacked by a stranger while out having a smoke and the owner barred me from the place I don’t even know who attacked me wrong place wrong time but the owner didn’t allow anyone to call the police and he instantly kicked us out and won’t let us return, NOT LIKE I EVER WANT TO ANYWAY!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE

Truly old school beverage room. This is where you go to drown your sorrows with a glass of draught and plate of chicken wings. The exact opposite of fancy. Prices as low as you'll find them these days and friendly staff.

Food was terrible ordered the surf and turf. The seafood was frozen products instead of fresh and our steaks (we ordered them medium) were burnt offerings. French fries seemed like yesterday's left over reheats, hard and crunchy. Will not eat there again.

Just happened to stop in and it was awesome!!! Food was sooo good. My husband said it was in the top fish and chips he has had and he has tried alot. I had a delicious steak sandwich. Service was great.

The food is not bad but they just charge you extra without letting you know. We ordered two items for brunch and we asked to have the sweet potatoes fries instead of the homefries. We were not told anything about the extra cost. At the end when we got the bill we found out we got charged for $20 for the sweet potatoes fries only. They adjusted the price a bit but still we paid for it without being told. This is not about the money. Hope other customers would not need to deal with this

Some reviews I've read of the TBR are quite critical-- it's dingy, the service is poor, the food unremarkable. But those reviews were clearly written by people who were looking for a "nice" restaurant and not a true neighborhood pub. A neighbourhood pub interior design SHOULD be outdated, and SHOULD serve standard pub fare. Sure, sometimes service can be slow-- but the folks there are salt of the earth and all you need to do is wave a hand, AND, if you paid attention when the server told you their name, or better yet, if you were friendly and asked their name, just call them over with a good-natured smile. "Wing night" is actually wing nightS-- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (tip--order wings, fries and onion rings 'extra crispy'), and Sunday brunch is perfect for...well...a Sunday morning after a Saturday night. There is often live music, with a lot of favorite musicians returning again and again-- and musicians who talk to the audience and even sit and catch up with more regular patrons. The end of the music and the closing of the pub come sooner than many other pubs/restaurants, so pace your libations accordingly. The more often you visit the TBR, the better it gets-- get to know the people, because THEY are the TBR.

Been here several times and the food is always good. Love the wings and surf and turf! Price is great too! Kim and service work well together. My only suggestion would be to have sweet chai chilly sauce available for wings!!!

Went there on our way back from Camping October 13, 2022. Very friendly staff, the food was great pub food. We asked to sit outside, not a problem they said and the server said be aware they maybe hornets, we appreciated that but there were no issues. My wife had the pan fried haddock, was cooked perfect I had the Burger, which was a refreshing ole fashion burger, nothing fancy cooked nice and hot and juicy. The sides were very good as well. Will be back to try Brunch soon!

Went on a Thursday for wing night, I don't remember the exact price but for a few beer and 2 dozen wings only ran me about 30 bucks, not a bad price, and the wings were saucey and perfectly cooked. Definitely a place you'll come back to once you try it.

Went for a birthday party. Service was great. Wings were good and the beer was cold. Check this place out.

Unfortunatly, the reviews on here will waste your time. Service was pretty bad, portion size was pathetic, server never asked about dessert or splitting the bill, never came by for a re-fill on water. All while me and my 9 months pregnant partner watched the server be chummy with everyone else. Seating was wherever you wanted. Had an old man and lady sit directly behind me blowing his nose multiple times. (Should I be worried about covid?) And she decided a speaker phone call was in order...... No tip, and very dissapointed for a $50 supper. Got the double charbroiled burger. No seasonings in any of the food. The fries with the burger were all over cooked, and undercooked at the same time. In old oil. Partner got the Donair flat bread. She says it was a greasy mess. And side salad was just plopped on the plate with a dilly cup of sauce.... And we got sweet potato fries as a starter. Who serves sweet potato fries with ranch! Not saying ranch cant be used to eat them. Its usually curry mayo, so I was a bit confused at the odd choice. Overall, a waste of time, money, and energy. Funny thing is, my whole family used to dine here in it's day. Sad to see it going so down hill for the future customers.
