I
booked
a
one
night
stay
for
2
rooms
for
the
first
time
with
Marriott
hotels
and
upon
arriving
and
checking
in
with
4
younger
children,
we
were
informed
of
a
parking
fee.
We
paid
the
fee
and
had
to
park
alongside
the
hotel,
in
their
designated
parking,
instead
of
the
underground
parkade,
because
our
vehicle
was
classified
as
“oversized”.
(It’s
a
lifted
truck)
the
hotel
has
a
sign
right
beside
where
we
parked
stating
it
was
covered
by
video
surveillance.
After
we
paid,
we
were
handed
a
piece
of
paper
and
we
were
told
just
simply
place
that
in
your
window
to
confirm
you’ve
paid
for
parking
and
you
will
not
get
towed.
We
placed
the
paper
in
our
window
and
went
in
the
hotel
for
the
night.
In
the
morning,
we
had
discovered
our
truck
was
vandalized
and
completely
destroyed.
I
immediately
asked
for
video
surveillance
footage
and
we
were
told
there
are
no
cameras
where
we
parked!!
Police
were
contacted
and
while
I
was
on
the
phone
with
the
officer,
he
said,
“I
know
exactly
where
you’re
parked,
this
happens
on
a
regular
basis
there!”
After
expressing
my
concerns,
I
was
told
basically,
too
bad,
on
the
piece
of
paper
we
were
given
to
place
in
our
window
it
states
the
hotel
is
not
held
liable
for
lost,
stolen
or
damaged
items.
I
would
understand
if
it
was
made
clear
the
paid
parking
is
at
your
own
risk,
or
if
there
weren’t
signs
stating
video
surveillance
covering
the
area
we
paid
to
park.
I’ll
never
go
back
due
to
the
lack
of
security
a
hotel
is
supposed
to
provide,
especially
when
it’s
paid
for!
