Constant banging on both walls of my room . The noise from the highway is excessive to the point it sounds like a drag racing strip. A dog down the hallway was constantly barking. Never did see a supposedly included breakfast. A positive is the rooms were clean & well kept.

Rooms are clean and fresh, no bad smell, only at second floor was smell of weeds🤢 Staff should be more friendly. For this price should be free breakfast, but thank you for free coffee. For tea no hot water in lobby, I think you need to bring your own hot water 😁 Never stay here again, but thank you for experience 😊

We reserved online and arrived very early. The friendly staff confirmed our reservation and informed us that they will call us when our suite/room was ready, which they did. The suite is the best room we've ever had for a great price since it's off-season...clean and lots of conveniences.

Clean, spacious, comfortable. Room rates were a bit on the high side compared to similar properties in Toronto.

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Accommodating staff at the front desk during my two-day meeting. Much appreciation for the team for going above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend.

Many thanks to the front desk staff for finding us a room after we were stranded with no accommodations in Halifax! The trainer and the 2 trainees at front desk were kind and hospitable and even showed us our room prior to obtaining payment. They were efficient and relatively quick with the check-in process and provided us a good overview of the hotel and services. Rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable and had all the essentials.

Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were well kept and clean. Location worked out great for Volleyball tournament we came into town for. On site restaurant was a little dated but food was good. Will stay there again when we come back into town.

This a very clean hotel. Rooms have the bare essentials; beds, towels, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, small fridge. Our room had no dressers, not that I needed any lol.. it does make the small room seem bigger because of that. Bathroom was clean and had fresh towels. Location is nice since it is close to the highway, small drawback is a lot of nearby eateries close early.

Staying in Halifax for 4 nights with Future Inn. Be mindful that while the hotel is "in" Halifax, downtown Halifax is approximately 15 - 20 minutes drive away! It is an excellent base to go around Nova Scotia with its proximity to many attractions and day trips to places such as Peggy Cove and Lunenburg. We got double queen room at a very reasonable price. The inn are pet friendly without any exorbitant fees tacked on it we were traveling with our two pooches. The place are well managed, the front desk team was very friendly, polite and helpful in checking us in. Checking in was an easy process - kudos to the staff for being so accommodating to our questions about the lodging and the surrounding area. We were assigned to a very spacious room, clean and welcoming. The bathroom is larger than average. The bed were SUPER comfortable, and they were generous with the amount of pillows that were assigned to each bed (4 pillows each). The pillows were soft yet flexible enough to contour to the sleeping position. I never slept so well before in any hotel. There are laundry room on-site. The staffs are amazing and they smile and say hi every time I see them. Thank you Future Inn and the front desk staff (Caitlin, Eddie on training, Maria, Christian, Leru) for making our stay in Halifax a memorable one. Keep up the good work. Bravo!

Conveniently reachable by car; visitors appreciated the reasonably priced parking. Shopping, dining, and bars are conveniently located in the vicinity.

I got bad luck with my room location (108) near reception desk and the room door (see pic) was not seal or closing properly. Reception people talk and laugh all night (I finally fall asleep at 1 am)

Very solid hotel, while not being so downtown that you can't get any sleep. Stayed here as part of a business trip, and has good rooms, good showers, a good restaurant, and a good gym! I definitely recommend!

Only went to a meeting here but the staff are quite nice. Location is out of the downtown core with ample parking so that's a plus for some and a minus for others. It's starting to look dated but everything seems to work and it looks clean.

Great food in the hotel. Wife is GF and staff were very helpful. A good choice for breakfast is the cheese omelet.

A pleasantly above average hotel of this type, and there are several around. The room rate was very good, and the room large enough and well maintained. Service was fine. There were about a half-dozen "damp bugs" on the floor in the bathroom throughout our four day stay, which indicates a humidity issue there.

Great hotel rooms and amazing location near shops/restaurants/highway. The rooms were very spacious and large, staff was so friendly. They we so happy we brought our puppy, provided us a room on the first floor for easy access.

We were in the pet rooms and it had a funky smell. Either cleaning chemicals or pet urine. Or a combo of both. An air freshener is advised and we will stay again but will bring one along next time.

Staying here for both business and pleasure. I awoke early due to stomping noises from the above floor and a barking dog! Of course, this is not the fault of the inn. Awake early and no breakfast is available. I'm told to go to a restaurant across the street. I am staying in the King Suite...not a pen, paper or even a bottle of water to be found. Also no available plug in the bedroom. I am very disappointed with my stay but am booked for 1 more night still.

They didn't offer breakfast, but had coffee and tea in the lobby. If you want breakfast options, there is a Smitty's across the street. It's a good location for restaurants and shopping is all a short drive away. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Good visit as always, great front-of-house employees at the desk; and a nice clean room when checking in. The room (439) though, had a constant musty odor from an unknown source, despite having the windows open and air handler on. Perhaps it was some stale beer or wine, that had spilled into the carpet during another guest's stay. Also, when taking a shower, the water spigot in the tub came off, when attempting to raise the plunger to redirect the waterflow to the showerhead. Lots of water everywhere, but at least it all landed in the tub... Luckily I was able to reattach it myself and continue with my shower. Little things happen, but it did not ruin the stay. Also, a special thank you to the night worker on the desk that was able to find me some extra decaf kcups for my room at 630am--it was truly appreciated!

Rooms have all the creature comforts you would expect from a hotel. Mini fridge was a bit noisy when the compressor kicked in. Also a bit more in the way of extraneous light leaks from the hallway around the door jam than one might expect. Overall, a good experience nevertheless.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service at this establishment. They were so nice and accommodating to us when we told them our issues. The beds were extremely comfy and soft and we slept so well. It is in a lovely spot next to many stores that might be useful to any guests. I highly reccomend choosing to stay here it will definitely be worth visiting.

The staff are nice and great. The restaurant breakfast is the worst I'm ever had. Dry and cold everything pre packaged. No variety. Tasteless. Not enough staff in the am. Took 1 hour to get served with only a few customers. She had no help. I took my son and his wife there and they felt the same way. Nice rooms.

Stayed with hubby and adult daughter during Halifax visit. Good location, easy drive to many venues and tourist sites. Lovely clean room, comfortable beds. Great value. This will be where we stay next time we visit and will recommend to friends and family

Excellent Service, very good value. We were in Halifax for a funeral of a close relative and stayed for 5 days. Our son and his fiancé stayed for 3 days. A little larger zone for hanging up dress-clothes would have been helpful. But that would be the only real area of improvement I could suggest. It’s clear that the rooms have recently been renovated. Some reviews mentioned ‘dated’ decor. Not our room. Also and perhaps this is of value, we asked for quiet rooms and were placed on the 4th floor which is the quietest of the floors. Second floor is where the kids sports teams stay when they are booked in and the first floor is where the pets stay… In general I found the level of cleanliness in the hotel to be outstanding. I also found that the staff members were very accommodating to all of our requests (maybe it’s a little bit easier to offer flexibility during off-peak periods - early February). I particularly want to single out the thoughtfulness and commitment to customer satisfaction from Patricia on the Housekeeping team who sensitively and thoughtfully serviced our room and Christian at the front desk who worked hard to help us with our reservation and a second reservation a couple of days later. The team printed a document for me promptly and were able to accommodate our request for a late-checkout. For our purpose, a funeral at JA Snow and visiting at Shannex Parkland, there is no better location. Starbucks is a 200 m walk and there is great access to Bayers Lake shopping district for groceries etc. Not sure why my expectations weren’t overly high prior to arrival but after arrival, the hotel exceeded expectations on many fronts. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for visitors in a similar situation to ours. Well done to the team.

Did not appreciate finding items left over from previous guests in a room that is assured to be cleaned thoroughly. No compensation when I mentioned that I was not happy with the cleanliness.

We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are new and big. The hotel has a shortage of staff so they won't clean the rooms everyday. Also the restaurant was closed one day for breakfast but we didn't have breakfast there. $350 for two nights with no breakfast...

D.P. Murphy managed hotel. Very bad and stay away. If a problem comes up, their policy is to not return emails nor phone calls.

Located near the Bayer's Lake industrial park/shopping area, this hotel was an excellent choice for a recent business trip. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the washroom was spacious and seven had an exhaust fan. Something that made getting ready in sequence a lead Sergeant l steamy event. It's proximity to the 102 Highway and numerous choices good dining was very convenient. With ample, well-lit parking it's a good choice for work or play.

Wasn't expecting much for how cheap the room was and was pleasantly surprised. Big TV, 2 queen beds, seperate desk and couch and a very nice bathroom/shower set up. Friendly staff at reception and very clean/modernized rooms for the price.

Was a nice clean room in a decent location, but it was made so much better by the kind staff and the fact it's right next to a shopping centre and a Costco!

Stayed here for almost 3 weeks While my home was renovated. first day they tested their alarms all day, annoying but ok I get it safety and all, Until a random maintenance man walked in my room used a key the hotel gave him when he walked in I was working on my laptop stopped him he didn’t speak say why he was there just stood their stunned and walked out with no explanation . I spoke to the front desk no idea who this man was finally a manger called and said it was an alarm tech who “ mistakenly “ went to my room ( they aren’t suppose to go in occupied rooms) so if you stay here don’t leave any valuables or vulnerable people alone in the room it’s nit secure. My room key never works I have had to go to the front desk over 10 times to get it fixed extremely annoying. The rate I asked for there rate and was told it plus tax. I got in invoice with a small fee called marketing levy I asked why I am being charged this fee it was never mentioned to which the manger said it’s a tax but get this this tax is taxed with HST so it is not a tax. It is a fee implemented by this municipality to help get international. tourism. I’ll add no compensation or apologies given for the day of alarms the random intruder in my room numerous failed room keys or the fraudulent tax or fee they never mentioned until I got my invoice. I’d recommend to pay a little more and stay at a more service oriented hotel.
