Flavourful vegan, tried Nomlette and Miso ginger noodles. Inside Dinning area is small. I don’t mind waiting to be seated because their food is delicious.

Very delicious vegan food with good serving sizes. We got the donair wrap and roasted potato wedges which both tasted great.

Love places like this: chilled atmosphere, friendly personal service, great food: 100% vegan, authentic, tasty, made with love. I had the burger and dragon fries which came in an amazing sriracha sauce.

Great food, beautifully presented with delightful and helpful staff. When we went there they had a problem with only half the grill working. They explained the issue when we arrived, saying it would be a longer delay than usual and even offered complimentary coffee during the wait. We had the Ginger Sesame Seitan bits, Port-Side burger and Cupcakes (a little sweeter than we're used to). Although it's a vegan restaurant, you could happily take your meat eating friends who would also enjoy the food. Only seats about 18 I believe, does not take reservations (at least for lunch).

The Dragon Fries here are hands down the best fries that I have ever had. Full stop. I also had the Wild Bowl which was very fresh and tasty. Juices are delicious as well!

Delicious, stunning food with a ton of options. The staff are friendly and welcoming and genuinely want to give you a good experience. We had a few dishes, our favourite is the buffalo Mac and cheese 😍

Small gem with spectacular vegan food that would satisfy the most critical foodie. Their coconut cream pie is essentially a cheesecake and is outstanding. Wild Leek's salads and soups are also great.

I have had food here before and it's very good but I bought cupcakes here today and they are incredible. I had to share how delicious they are. The chocolate one is dairy free and it's the best dairy free cupcake I've ever had and one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. The cake is so moist and the frosting is delicious. The strawberry one is incredible and also gluten free. Definitely the best gluten free cake I've had. Good texture and taste. Very impressed!

SO GOOD! Very easily some of the best vegan food I've had. We ate here two days in a row, each ordered something different and shared, took bakery items to go... every bit was delicious! The staff was also super friendly. Bummed I'm an entire country away.... I'll dream of dragon fries until my next visit!

Wonderful lunch stop! I had the taco bowl, my partner had the ginger miso noodles; both were excellent, tasty with fresh veggies and nice presentation. The "flu booster" juice was refreshing. Service was very friendly. See pictures for the current menu, but there are also daily specials. There is very limited seating, and it's very basic.

The Wild Leek takes vegan to an amazing new level. We went there for burger week and the while the burger was good, it was the Dragon Fries that stole the show. Mostly because of the incredibly delicious Wild Leek Dragon Sauce - combined with the fries and banana peppers? Just stunning. In our opinion the vegan kale Caesar is better than any "actual" Caesar salad we've ever had. For dessert we had the carrot cake and a cupcakes - all incredible! The service was fantastic and they were very accommodating of any questions we had. Our only issue was the temperature. It's a tough space to heat since the door to the wintry chill is just feet away from any seat. We kept our coats on and enjoyed every morsel of delicious food.

Lots of delicious vegan options! The gluten free brownie is amazing. We also had the tofu buffalo burger, mac & cheese, and one other dish I forget but it was pretty spicy. There’s some things you can buy as take out from the fridge. Lots of sweets as well. They also have a “day old” basket at a discount. Staff was super nice and helpful. Small place, parking down the street. They do have high chairs for toddlers.

It was so good that when the main courses arrived, we forget to take pictures and attacked the plates right away. Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve tried so far (vegan or not). When you go there, you HAVE to try the nachos in the appetizers section.

The food was amazing. Best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The food did a great job matching typical junky North American food, but even better. My girlfriend and I got the vegan donair and the Philly cheesesteak that was on special. Both amazing. I think I liked the donair more. I recommended ordering extra donair sauce because that stuff is amazing and taste better than your typical donair sauce.

Wild Leek is a little hidden treasure in Halifax that has many devoted repeat customers. If you know you know :) From delicious (vegan) chocolate cupcakes to very yummy savoury meals (for either take-out, dine in or grab from freezer!) Awesome owner & hard working, wonderful staff.

I loved Wild Leek! I can’t eat eggs or dairy which makes breakfast a hard meal to eat out. However, Wild Leek not only made it easy, but super enjoyable! The staff were so friendly and everything was delicious. You must try the dragon fries. We purchased dragon sauce to bring back home as it was unbelievable. The beet lemonade is also great. Will definitely go back the next time we’re in Halifax.

Wonderful vegan Cafe that vegetarians and omnivores will love too! Small with limited seating, this place is well appointed with fresh tasty food. We had the fresh salad and mac'n'cheese which was perfect for two people to share. The Mac was one of the best I have had. Little in the pricey for lunch but completely worth it!

Great little small vegan restaurant ! So many options (a lot for take out with a fridge full with soups, wraps, juices, brownies etc.). Great portion and delicious food! You don't need to be vegan to come here!

An excellent little vegan place that I've been to a handful of times over the last decade. It's small inside, so if you want to guarantee a table, you may be best to go at off-peak meal times. Today I just called in an order to go, to bring back to work. The Wild Bowl looked to be one of the healthiest items on the menu. (The whole place is very healthy conscious, but I wanted less calories today). My two coworkers said it smelled very strong when I opened it. I'm recovering from covid, and my sense of smell and taste aren't 100% yet. So to me it wasn't strong, but what I did taste was good, a touch of sesame in the dressing, but no heat as expected, for its name of 'dragon sauce' served on the side. The broccoli, kale, carrots & cabbage were very fresh and crispy. The sliced tofu was a good amount worth. Little bit of spreadded beets hiding in there. A good quantity of brown rice as the base. I am content after eating it, not full, but just right for a weekday lunch. Friendly staff. I will be back sooner than later!

The food and the service were both top-notch! We had the Wild Bowl and the Mushroom & Cauliflower Alfredo, pictured here. We also ordered some takeout items for the next day - Rise 'N Shine Breakfast Wrap, Titanic Burrito, and the Buffalo Chick-un made into a wrap. Everything was so tasty, and the wraps were good more than 24 hrs later! The wedges were so good, too! And the cold pressed juices were also yummy! The staff were so nice and answered all my questions and were super helpful. Looking forward to visiting Halifax again just to go back here!

I came here twice during my visit to Halifax, the food was so good! Highly recommend the Wild Bowl & the Mac Daddy Burger.

This place is so good it could almost convert me to becoming vegan. Literally everything I've tried on the menu is delicious and tasty. My goodness the dragon sauce, or whatever it's called is one of the best condiments I've ever tasted

What flavorful yummy vegan food and friendly staff. Every dish was amazingly tasty and filling. Highly recommend to all food lovers.

Oh. My. Goodness. Talk about delicious and flavourful vegan dishes. I’m not going to lie, I was unsure about this place at first, but I’m glad my partner convinced me otherwise. The food here is unreal. So good that I actually forgot to take pictures 😅. The vegan Donair has all the flavour without the heaviness of a traditional donair.I also suggest the dragon fries !! The only comparison I have to a restaurant similar in Toronto would be “Fresh” and Wild Leek blows them out of the water.

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend Wild Leek! I made a call-in order for some cupcakes and was not disappointed! I wasn’t sure what flavour I wanted but the person on the other end of the line was so helpful in suggesting a flavour. Not only were the chocolate salted caramel cupcakes INCREDIBLE they were beautiful and extremely reasonably priced. I also picked up an artichoke and cashew dip when I picked up the cupcakes and it was also so amazing! For anyone who is vegan or otherwise, check out Wild Leek, you will not be disappointed!

I eagerly waited until this place opened at 11am so I could get breakfast and it was so worth it. The vegan breakfast burrito was out of this world! Check their menu online and don't select from pictures on Google Reviews as it has been updated since that customer posted it. It took about 20 minutes to cook so maybe next time I'd call ahead but it was still worth the wait. If you're unable to wait they do have a selection of items in the fridge ready to takeaway. Social distancing means only one customer in the store at a time as it's quite a small space but that's understandable. Staff were lovely. Am dreaming of the next burrito!

Cute spot great with fantastic food. Had the dragon fries and they were unbelievably good! The service was on point and great ventilation even though it was a small space so you didn’t walk out stinking of food. I will be back! Thanks for an awesome vegan experience! Highly recommended.

Awesome vegan joint in Halifax. The owner is very nice and quite generous.

Excellent service that’s authentic friendly. Ready to go meals, drinks, sauces, snacks & treats to go. Order in advance for special occasion cakes (vegan &/or gluten free) & pies. Their menu is delicious. The dragon fries & onion rings are out of this world Devine 💥 The bowls are amazing & healthy and don’t skip the sweets. Call ahead with any allergies - they have helped us out with a garlic allergy 💜 No dine in - take away only.

Today I tried Titanic burrito, dragon fries, salad and brownie. Everything was so perfect and delicious. After a long time I had good food in halifax. I was really happy with the food. I would love to go here everyday. Best vegan place. Also best brownie that I have ever had in halifax. Hope the restaurant maintains the same taste and quality.

The 100% vegan menu is absolutely incredible. We had the donair w/ side salad and miso noodles this time, and were completely satisfied with both. Staff are very friendly and happily accommodated our last-minute switch from take-out to dine-in. This is a go-to spot for me when I visit Halifax.

Had the fries and the burger. Both amazing and full of flavour. Cooked to perfection. Wished I lived closer so I could come more often! Thanks!

Excellent vegan take-out spot! The dragon fries are out of this world! We spent 2 days in Halifax… and went there 2 times!

Honestly was excited to try this place but the food did not hit any of the spots. Got drip coffee, pop tart, buffalo Mac & shawarma. The mains had a slightly sweet taste which we did not find appetizing. The service was slow & not in order. The lady working there was all over the place, got some of the order wrong / confused & almost gave our order to another customer who came to pick up. It was also very expensive for the quality of food in my opinion.

The food at Wild Leek is so flavourful and filling. So many wonderful choices on Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes delivery apps. Note that in-store there are lots of grab'n'go items, staples, and more desserts. This is primarily a take-out restaurant - there are 2 eating counter seats inside overlooking the street and in warm months there are 2 tables outside.

I just stopped by Wild Leek today and I ordered their Dragon Fries. They were just fabulous! They were spicy and crispy and topped with a really tasty gravy and hot peppers and green onions. The portion size was incredibly generous so I ended up taking half home for supper. I will definitely be back. The coffee was excellent as well!

i have no idea how i didn’t know this place existed sooner, having been vegetarian for so long. i’m so happy i finally found it though! my only wish is that you were able to eat in, but i completely understand that isn’t possible for some businesses. that doesn’t make the food any less delicious and high quality!! it is a little bit more on the expensive side, but considering how good the food is, it is completely understandable. the portions are also really nice sized! i will definitely order from here again

Staff was very nice. The “chicken” sandwich and the taco bowl were both very good. I’d recommend you eat here.
