In December 2014, at the age of 49, I finally made the decision to have LASIK surgery. I had thought about it for 10+ years but was very nervous and anxious about the procedure. The staff were very professional and made me feel very comfortable; nothing felt rushed. I remember listening to the calming voice of the assistant and her counting down each process. Within 10 minutes I was done ! Amazing! Recovery was relative easy for me, although I felt the dark glasses were a little cumbersome to wear during the first 24 hours :) Only regret; wished I had done it 10 years before.

Awesome experience. I was a bit unsure at first, but staff was super professional. They ran a lot of tests and double checked on a few things. The surgeon even went over my chart and recommended a change, which they upgraded me for free on. If you don't like wearing glasses, definitely consider this as an option!

The staff is very knowledgeable and transparent with the entire process, including what to expect before, during and after surgery. It was also fairly quick - I was in and out in 2 hours on surgery day and the actual procedure took less than 10 minutes. Recovery is already going well - no pain, dryness or discomfort and 20/15 vision at my 24hour post-op checkup. Highly recommend this procedure and Dr. Roy for anyone looking for freedom from lenses.

I had my PRK procedure done with them, the staff were incredible, Dr.Boudreau is incredible. They gave me my choice of music while the procedure was being done, I felt comfortable despite the fact that I was having literal surgery on my eyes. My recovery was very painful due to my recovery process and the staff were there for me every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with the service I got and I had clear vision before even the lenses came out! Weeks later and I still have clear vision, best thing I've ever done Highly recommend

I had a fantastic experience at Lasik MD. All the staff are very lovely and accommodating and the procedure itself was very quick. Dr. Poirier was a wonderful surgeon and she did a great job! I was able to see pretty much immediately after surgery and I had a high prescription to begin with and I was doubtful if I’d even be a good candidate. Truly a life-changing experience!

I had my pre-operative consultation last week and determined that I was a candidate for LASIK surgery. They were able to book me in for surgery the following morning which was incredibly convenient as I had traveled 5 hours for the consultation. Everyone in the clinic is extremely good at what they do and make you feel so comfortable during each visit. They had explained to me that I would still require reading glasses which was fine and understandable given the strength of my prescription and I will be turning 50 in a few months. The procedure itself was incredibly quick, absolutely painless and at no time did I experience any discomfort. Getting up off the table after they completed the surgery was surreal to me as I have required glasses / contacts since I was 8 years old and my hand was blurry when in front of my face without glasses on. I could see everything right away and it did in fact correct my reading vision as well. For anyone who has been considering or contemplating this surgery, just do it. I wish I had done it years before but was on the fence about it and after having it completed, I feel like as if I had been granted a miracle. Thank you LASIK for giving me the gift of sight back!!

I am so pleased with the results! Literally the day after surgery I have better than 20/20 vision. After not being able to see good with my own eyes my entire life, this surgery has changed everything! Literally no pain at all except maybe an hour of slightly irritated eyes when the numbing wore off. To anyone considering this, just go do it! I was on the fence for a while and I'm so glad I finally made the decision to get it done. 10/10 recommend 🥰

Amazing experience well worth it. I can see for the first time ever without corrective lenses. My prescription was quite strong and it is life changing to be able to see facial expressions on people and read billboards for the first time without glasses or contacts. No more scratching dry contact lenses or annoying glasses. Can finally dive under water without messing with dry contacts. So so happy with my results and the procedure and experience was easy and convenient, everyone at the clinic was very helpful. Highly highly recommend this to anyone interested, it’s a game changer!!

I had full range of vision intraocular lens implants done for both of my eyes on June 1st. I am very pleased and happy with the results!! After wearing glasses/contact lenses/reading glasses for over 46 years, it is so wonderful to be able to see (better that 20/20 vision) without the hassle of wearing glasses, etc. Everyone at LASIK MD was very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and followed up after my procedure. The actual procedure took about 20 to 30 minutes total for both eyes - it was painless, and I only felt a little pressure. Absolutely game changing compared to glasses/contacts if it suits your desired needs. My vision has never been better and cannot imagine going back to glasses again. Surgery is a little more uncomfortable than expected but only for a short period of time. Recovery was short and painless. Worth exploring to see if it's right for you.

I had cataracts removed and lens in both eyes. The service at LASIK MD was professional, efficient , and excellent from start to finish. It left me wishing that the rest of our healthcare system could take lessons from these people in how to deliver amazing healthcare . My eyesight is now 20 20 and I am most pleased with all the follow up and concern that they continue to show.

I had an excellent experience with my lasik treatment. The initial appointment was easy and gave me lots of time to ask questions. My vision was 20/20 (actually a bit better) the next day. I only needed to take a day off for the procedure and was back to work after the weekend. The minor soreness and aversion to screens only lasted a week. Blurring at night with lights and dryness lasted a few months and was easy to manage with some eye drops. I had been wearing glasses since age 9 and contacts since age 13 and my eyes could no longer tolerate contacts by the time I went for lasik. It has definitely saved me a lot of money in the long run and has changed my life for the better!
