Absolutely incredible! This place is a breath of fresh air that I won't be able to truly qualify for a review. My partner and I booked two nights and enjoyed the quiet, the beauty, the magic of the views and the kindness of the hosts immeasurably. What a gem! If you like being away from the world, feeling as though you should move away from it all and just breathe in the coast forever, then this place is for you. Comfortable, great value, we'll be back!

Spent the most lovely two nights at this gorgeous home in the top sail suite. We had a perfect view of the coming and going tide from our room and also enjoyed sitting out back in colorful, comfy chairs relaxing to the sound of the flowing water. Warren and his family are so charming and very involved in the community of Maitland. You'll get a fresh and delicious breakfast each morning made by Warren and its about a 20 minute drive to burnt coat head park and other rafting adventures. A perfect place to kick back and relax. Highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cresthaven by the Sea! Gorgeous old home lovingly maintained in a magical location on the shores of the tidal bore! Warren was the consummate host - relaxed, thoughtful, interesting (and interested in his guests), and an overall great guy! His breakfast offerings were superb, plentiful and delish… we were there 4 nights and tried everything! We definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to Nova Scotia!!

We enjoyed our brief stay at Cresthaven very much. Warren is very knowledgeable about the tides and general history of the area. He and his wife Catherine are wonderful hosts and breakfast was fabulous.

This place is so wonderful. If it’s available, I recommend anyone to book it. Wonderful host. The property is RIGHT NEXT to the water. Lovely setting. Spacious room and bathroom, amazing breakfast. Saw the resident bald eagle like many others mentioned. Host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing experience!! Warren and Catherine were wonderful hosts. Everything clean and very well maintained. Stunning views, and an excellent place to watch the tidal bore come in. And the resident bald eagle in the tree out front makes a great alarm clock. We also took advantage of the wine and charcuterie board, highly recommend it!! And Warren's breakfast was incredible.

Picturesque location with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Rooms were spacious, quiet and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and served a delicious hot breakfast each day. Bonus points for daily eagle sightings!

A lovely B & B tucked away in Maitland. My daughter and I stayed there in May. Very clean and welcoming. The common area was great for hanging out at night! There is a corner store within walking distance for snacks and restaurant. Great home base to sightseeing adventures. You are 20 mins from Truro and 20 mins from Burncoat park. Definitely will be staying there again!

We had a great time, the place is clean and cozy, the view and surroundings worth visiting even in the winter time. We enjoyed drinks and a quiet time by the fire place. Hosts are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and its history.

This three room bed and breakfast in an old shipbuilder’s home is right on the Bay of Fundy so one can watch the Tidal Bore from the front porch, front lawn or front window of one’s room. Lots of lovely outdoor seating as well as a living room just for guests. Warren operates the bed and breakfast, and we so enjoyed talking with him about the area as well as other parts of Canada in which he lived before moving to Maitland. He cooked a great hot breakfast each morning for guests. There are two bald eagles that roost in a large chestnut tree in the front yard. Magic to watch and listen to them.

Beautiful b&b with a breathtaking view, well-appointed rooms, a welcoming atmosphere and wonderful hosts! And "the best pancakes ever" according to a very happy 7 year old! I would highly recommend staying here if you're in Nova Scotia.

Had an absolutely wonderful time here at Cresthaven By the Sea. Warren and his wife created a wonderful atmosphere for us during our stay and the views outside, not 10 feet from the front door are simply stunning!! Cannot say enough about how much of a gem this place is!!
