I am giving 5 stars overall, with the only part of meal not worth raving about was my wife's smash burger, and a rushing waitress. The beef of the burger itself was good, but the fried toppings combined with the type of bun made it taste heavily greasy. My salmon dish was absolutely delicious, I was scraping my plate! The cook on everything was PERFECT, the salmon, the risotto, and the asparagus! Quality ingredients + expert cooking made this meal one I will come back for- great job chef!

Stopped here for the first time for lunch and I'm looking forward to going back! They smoke their own corned beef for the corned beef sandwich and it is delicious. Our server was great fun, too. I'll try to go for happy hour next time to sample the microbrews from their Angry Inch brewery next door. It's the "other half" of the building! Great place I'm glad to recommend.

Hey, South Metro friends. Have you been or tried ‘THE BETTER HALF’? On Sat., 9/2/23 my wife and I had an fantastic breakfast there. I had the awesomely delicious ‘Crème Anglaise French Toast’. My wife had the delicious OG OMELETTE. Just a great breakfast. So, on the table was a placard announcing specials. Today, Monday, 9/4/23 we came back to try the 50% off ‘CLASSIC SMASH’ burger with fries. WOW! They were so good. Everything you want on a burger - fried onions, pickle, cheese, and a special sauce. My wife had the ‘Expresso Martini’ that so smooth. Also our server, Shelly, was just great too. Made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely make THE BETTER HALF our go to place. P.S. they advertise a great Happy Hour.

I'm still not sure if I'm disappointed or not. Overall, it was a good experience for an evening meal at 6:30pm. Ordered chicken pesto sandwich, salads and tacos. Didn't like sandwich much. We would try this place for breakfast soon and hopefully will change the rating too. Lakeville is a great place and need good hangouts.

Excellent menu and very delicious food! Had their house Bloody Mary too which was different but tasty and surprisingly refreshing (very cucumber forward). Plus they have ETabs and you can reach like 3 Pokestops from here!

I finally after months got the opportunity to try this place out! There is only 2 places in the cities I have found for all you can eat crab legs! Got there about 6:45 and lady said it would be a 15 min wait. Decided to sit at the bar! Sarah our bartender was amazing! Very social, on point and nice, hands down 10/10! We ordered the all you can get crab legs, came out pretty quick, I am not sure how many total clusters I got. Half were way over cooked and mediocre. Half were cooked perfectly! I was kind of disappointed on the rubbery shell ones, but it was consistent on them coming out. We ended up having a super fun time with people around us, Ambience was superior! It is far drive for me so not sure when I will be back. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the crab legs were hit or miss!

Food was great service was terrible during our late afternoon lunch. The waitress/bartender was more worried about flirting/conversations with the guy at the bar vs taking care of our table to the point I had to get up to request to get her attention to order, get silverware to eat, get the lemmings I requested for my water. Ambiance cute diner style place with a great patio. Food tasted good was fresh. What should have been a quick lunch took over an hour

I absolutely love this restaurant. In the short time it's been open, I've already been 6 times to try the menus and meals. For drinks, the jalapeno margarita, Irish coffee, and salty dog are excellent. The old fashioned is decent. The chorizo breakfast is flavorful and delicious, but would prefer it spicier. My favorite meal so far is the hanger steak....incredible. The honey buffalo wings were tasty, and the kids cheeseburger uses quality meat (something I'm discovering is getting harder to find). Very happy to have another excellent restaurant in Lakeville!

The Better Half is quickly becoming a date night favorite for my Wife and I! We started with the Smoked Lemon Pepper and Basil wings, which were great! It was great having a wing appetizer with a dry rub instead of only having sauce options! For our entrees my wife had the Parmesan Crusted Walleye, which has inspired us in some of our cooking at home, and I got the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Risotto. We both had some of each others dishes, and they both had great layers of flavor notes throughout each bite! If you are looking for a new place to eat, don't pass on the Better Half!

When I heard about the specials that they have on Tuesday. I decided to come check it out. Tuesday special was great. We tried a few other things from the menu as well, and it was delicious. Service was awesome. They made sure everything was going good and refill everything when we were running low. We decided to come back again today and everything was good as the first time. It was worth 45 minute drive to come eat and will definitely return for the service and food. Great job!!

Sara(h) is excellent! She provided a refreshing experience for my family and me. Not only did she go above and beyond multiple times, but she ensured we received kind and timely service. She was prepared for kids dining as she had brought our young ones some toys. I was in the mood for a cocktail, and she brought me a great drink that she personally recommended, a Cherry Mule (I think she called it a cherry bomb). The person cooking was also excellent, they could have easily closed the kitchen early as it was a slower day for them but they stayed to cook our family's meal. As a fellow service industry professional, this level of service is rarely matched. We are all excited to enjoy our next visit at The Better Half

Very good. Went for AYCE crab (Tuesdays). Definitely recommend going early. We had a great server. He loved his crab, I loved my amazing Kale salad.

Met my friend there, her choice, she likes this place. I liked spending time with her. I got a burger and fries, I'd been craving that. 2 thin, very well done, smashed patties, taste was good, but I prefer 1 thicker patty that isn't crispy. The fries were good. It's not a completely fair assessment since I have been there this 1 time, and only know of this 1 menu item. The service was really good and we stayed a long time.

I got the biscuits and gravy and my wife got the chorizo bowl. They where both awesome. The cheesey hash browns were some of the best if had. The brunch runs 8am to 2pm as far as I can tell. Sarah was was awesome behind the bar!

Excellent food and a great atmosohere, but above that is the service. The bartender, Sarah,is beyond a good bartender. So many times you go somewhere and get drinks handed to you by a silent angry person. Not her. You feel immediately welcome, and not in a forced way. Great experience.
