Reception was amazing. Though my mom had pneumonia, when we got into exam room, I tried to give a little history on my mother and what’s been going on within the last week, I was told to go to the ED they couldn’t help her there, went to the ED sat there for 4.5 hours, got no where went home, made a appointment at compass medical (before they closed) the next day, they did chest X-ray started her antibiotic and gave instruction to follow up with pcp or with them. As far as I am concerned Southcoast delayed care for my mother, she was not in any acute distress that warranted emergency Room care, thats why I went to urgent, I truly hope I never have to utilize their services again

I've used this Urgent Care site twice, now, and I'm very impressed. This last time, I thought I had cracked or broken a rib as a result of a bicycling accident, and they were quick to get me in for an x-ray and to check things out to make sure I wasn't in any actual danger. The doctor was courteous and compassionate as were the rest the of the staff and personnel I interacted with.

**Update - Southcoast reached out to me and apologized profusely for the way this situation was handled. They agree that the terminology used as well as the response to the injury was inappropriate and could have been handled better in many ways. I am very pleased with the timeliness of the response as well as the response itself in regards to addressing this issue.** Don't go there if you need urgent care, they wouldn't know what urgent care means if it smacked them square in the face. Went there at 7 pm with an eye injury, they supposedly close at 8 pm. The dimwit of a receptionist tells me sorry, they have met their quota for the day and they aren't registering anyone else. I guess that's a fancy way of saying we've worked enough for today, we've done the bare minimum, time to pack it in. She looks at my eye and tells me straight faced she can give me an appointment for the next day. I would say worst service around, but there is no service at all. This was the third time I had an awful experience. Previously the wait time was 5 hours with three people in the waiting room. Guess that's what not for profit will get you. A bunch of lazy, unprofessional, sub par employees that could not care less if they tried. Go to Compass Medical Urgent Care or The ER, but steer clear of this dumpster fire.

I went here after having symptoms of strep and being directly exposed to someone that tested positive for it. My rapid came by negative and they sent a culture to the lab. I informed her that my sister was getting married this weekend and needed to get started immediately on antibiotics in order to be good by the wedding. She refused, claiming she didn’t want to risk me having diarrhea for no reason if I didn’t have strep. She assured me the results would arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday the latest so I could get my antibiotics. The results did not come in until Thursday evening until they were closed that I am positive. It is now Friday, I am still without antibiotics. The rehearsal dinner is tonight and wedding tomorrow

Went there today 1030 am When registering told receptionist I had a bad cut on pinkie finger and had a blood soaked paper towel on it and had to sign with opposite hand which she noticed At 1230 decided I had enough and looked at paper towel removed it and it appeared blood stopped under soaked bandaid I took myself off list because I believed it might be too late for anything to be done Still have bandaid on but thoroughly disappointed that they knew there was an open wound waiting for treatment but just let me sit there Probably ok to go with sniffles but not something that needs URGENT attention Will look elsewhere next time I need medical attention

Took my son here to get stitches in his split lip. The staff was great. The receptionist made sure we had plenty of gauze while we waited. I was expecting to wait because we walked in off the street. We waited 90 minutes. I dont understand why people get upset about waiting. (Maybe they should have a doctor waiting just for your personal emergency?) Stitches were done by a PA. He had a great bedside manner and gave us his cell number to schedule a followup for removal. Eight stitches later we were done. After they removed them two weeks later you could barely tell there was a serious cut. I spent time in the ER with another one of my children in the last year. This is definitely a better option.

Dr. Christine was very professional - got me everything I needed to fight off pneumonia. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Wait time was reasonable.

Accurate estimated wait time. Everyone was friendly from the front desk to care staff/radiology staff. Dr. Ishihara was friendly, compassionate, listened to my concerns, and provided prompt and accurate care! Referral care recommended and help with scheduling provided. Overall one of the best urgent care experiences I've had.
