Pretty much the best Dog I ever had, hands down! Wish I lived closer to enjoy this more often, or actually be allowed to go in a bar and eat and have a beer. When the vid lock down ends this will easily be my first stop to go in and eat! Thank you Barrel House!

OMG! I have heard forever that I needed to try the barrel house and oh my did these dogs NOT disappoint!!! My family and I tried a variety of different kinds but personally I’m happy I skipped lunch and got to have half of the “Big Mac Dog” and the “ Ja Mon Dog “ YUM!!!!!! I would highly recommend to anyone! Delicious! Can’t wait to try more of the menu! Thank you! :)

Best kept secret in Red Wing. Only place with live music on fridays. Classy digs. Thought I was walking into a dive and immediately worried I was under dressed. A wonderful place.

Stopped in on a Sunday early afternoon. The atmosphere was pleasant, inviting and incredibly welcoming by the staff/owners. Kaylynne the bartender was on her A game and deserves a huge pay raise! Attentive, pleasant and always smiling. 5 star recommendation!

I dont always eat hot dogs. But when I do, I prefer The Barrel House. Stay thirsty my friends.

A really fun place to stop if you are in red wing, the whole menu is hotdogs and quite a few fancy cocktails. If cocktails aren’t your thing you can also drink beer. All the hotdogs come up with chips for a side. There is a dartboard and Mario kart in the back. The bartenders who served us were super kind.

Had the "Mario" sandwich last weekend and it was phenomenal! Very flavorful and tender. Such a fun menu! Cannot wait to try some of their craft cocktails when they reopen!!

All you could ask for in a Main Street staple. Amazing drinks, each one we had was poured perfectly and not burned. The dogs we had were great. There are so many options that it took us a while to decide! Super friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable and friendly vibe. This will be the first place we go every time we come back to Red Wing.

This place is awesome! My husband and I stopped in for a beer and ordered the Muffy to split. It was one of the best hot dogs I have had. They have an awesome selection of hotdogs and their beer and cocktail list is pretty awesome as well. Would definitely stop by if you are in Red Wing.

So umm yeah...the reviews of this place are legit, it's great! Super chill vibe, very welcoming. We met the owner and he's great! Even brought us over a shot on the house! The cocktails were delicious and don't even get me started on the gourmet hotdogs. I ordered the banh mi hotdog and now I crave it....but I live in Minneapolis. So that's a problem. Just go here, trust me.

Awesome atmosphere. Great service! Highly suggest the new York style crust on any pizza with a side of beer cheese sauce to dip your crust in! Great bloddy mary's. We will be back!

Feels like your walking into Cheers. Not much you can’t love about a place like this. Cozy bar, cold drinks, live music, warm lighting, very cool history…need I say more?

Do yourself a favor and roll in for some pizza fries and an old fashioned! Would have taken photos if we hadn't been so busy scarfing everything down. It's obvious the management cares about their customers and supporting all the other local businesses downtown redwing. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

The owners, Jamie and Mike instantly make you feel like a regular and part of the family. Food, drinks and company were amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone and are looking forward to coming back in the near future.

What a treat this place is. Jamie, the owner is fantastic. She makes a great drink, and she recommended a fantastic pizza (beer cheese with sausage). I'd take her advice on about anything in her bar. Plus, Zoey (pictured below) helped me out, with my pizza! I'll absolutely be back!

Went to Barrel house for a night cap and was surprised with live music. Must be 21+ to enter which has its pros and cons. Good unique selection of beers and whiskeys. Not all places in red wing have a unique selection. Good place to get a few drinks and catch up with friends. Liked the size and locations of the TVs. Bartenders were crazy busy however extremely nice and were very attentive to patrons. Will be heading back.

If you are in Red Wing and you are hungry or thirsty and you don’t go here you are completely doing yourself a disservice! Owners are amazing food, service and atmosphere are perfect! Highly recommend!

When we arrived at about 3pm, we had the place to ourselves. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was really cool. We had drinks and nachos. Prices were good! They had my favorite MN THC beverages.

The Chicago dog, pretzel sticks, and the Rachel (a turkey Reuben) were all good. I would recommend coming here and getting the food we ordered. The portions of condiments on the hot dog were great. I didn’t love the beer selection, but it was good enough that I think people would enjoy coming here. The bartender is extremely friendly and talkative. He seems like a very nice person. He makes you want to be a regular here.

Best Rueben ever and awesome blues vibe!! The bar tender was also very nice and made us feel welcomed. We are so glad we found the Barrel House on a quick stop in Red Wing. We will be back!

Decent atmosphere. Friendly bartender. It’s a bit dark inside, but it’s nice once you adjust to the lighting. I had the special Old Fashioned, it was a decent cocktail, but a little too sweet for me and a little small as well. Now I’m not looking for a rocks glass topped off with whiskey at the bar, but a bit more would have helped justify the cost. Over it was nice, and not too expensive. I didn’t eat, but the person with me did and they enjoyed one of the gourmet hotdogs. I’ll be back again.

Food was excellent. One of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. Bar tender had a good sense of humor, and was attentive. Very dark inside, but proved to be a nice atmosphere to dive into conversation. No one under drinking age is allowed inside either, which makes for a nice spot for adukts

We spent a weekend in Red Wing, and happened upon this place after a stressful experience trying to leave TI Casino after a concert. We wanted to enjoy a drink, but the bar at the St. James, where we stayed, and a block from the Barrel House, closed at midnight. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we returned on Saturday to listen to the band. Attentive bartenders, great vibe, and the owners' rescue dog circling the bar from time to time made for a wonderful way to end two nights in Red Wing. We plan a return trip in winter.

Best hot dog I have had! Get the Chilli Willie or the Ruben. You won't be disappointed!

Love this place!!! Not only do they cater to those that love hotdogs but also special diets from gluten free and keto to dairy free and veggie dogs for the non meat people. Service is fabulous. Definitely a place to stop.

Amazing options for Hot Dogs, makes a perfect lunch, dinner or snack. I have had many from them and the Muffy if my favorite! I don't care how its heated up, toaster oven or solar oven they taste amazing! Thanks!!! Oh bring back delivery, that would be great.

The only bar in red wing I stop at, extremely good cocktail menu, great food. Have had cocktails around the world and they are competitive with the best of the best.

Reuben hot dog was amazing. Great beers, fun staff, awesome bar. Didn’t get into the video games, was too busy trying to hit the dart board with blurred vision .....

Wandered in while walking around Red Wing on a day trip. You might think "oh it's just hot dogs" but I'll say it was pretty darn good. Both of our dogs (Jalapopper is what I've pictured here) were fantastic. Get extra napkins because you'll need them. Bun was great, good sized dog and plenty of toppings. Service was attentive and decent beer selection as well. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try one of the cocktails but that's on our list for next time!

My boyfriend and I come here almost once a week just for the dogs! The drinks and the bartenders make you wanna stay even longer. Janae is a total badass! They've recently put old school video games in the back which make for the perfect date night or chill evening with the dudes. Coolest bar in town hands down.

Outstanding food and tremendous service at TBH! Have had dogs-to-go multiple times and they get better every time...a must stop if near Red Wing- you will enjoy your experience. Hoping to get back there soon and try the Mario!

Wife and I and another couple all had a great time at Barrel House. Firstly, they have a top notch beer list that isn't overpriced for the good stuff. Lots of great MN beer here. Secondly, hot dogs were great, my wife is not the biggest hot dog fan but she got the Bahn Mi and loved it. I got the Big Mic and it was top notch, didn't last long. Would definitely return!

The barrel house is a quite a respectable establishment with good music, better hot dogs, and a friendly staff waiting to give you the best dining experience you can have in Red Wing. 10/10 would highly recommend the jalepopper.

Nice selection of very hearty hot dogs, something for everyone. I’ve had almost all the flavors and like that they try new flavor creations. Good cocktails and beer menu too.

Used to love this place but my husband tried to surprise me for a birthday and had a small group show up for me including a 15 year old daughter of a friend. Trying to have dinner at literally 5:45pm and got kicked out because she wasn’t 21 or older. No signs anywhere that I could see. Just nicely telling us would’ve been fine but the whole ordeal was handled VERY rudely!

Very small, but very nice. Went for live music and had a blast listening to a local band play. Even though the place was packed the two workers did a great job of taking care of everyone as fast as they could. Drinks were reasonably priced and had a great selection. I make a habit to never go back to the same place twice when visiting a new city, I would have no problems going back to Barrel House.

Stopped in before a concert on a weekend. We had good service and watched a cool set of acoustic blues. It was really nice and welcoming inside. Some small town taverns can be unfriendly to tourists but not here. We met the owners and will definitely be back.

Awesome atmosphere for drinks with friends. Bartender was super friendly and fun to visit with. Live music was great and added to relaxed atmosphere. Only downside was we wanted to have dinner and the food was limited and not fresh. We had the nachos which were fine.

Got 3 dogs to go today to try some flavors. Chili cheese curd, don Juan and capone. All 3 were fabulous. Great buns (as expected from Hanisch Bakery) and quality toppings. Chili didn't appear to be some canned mystery chili but had great beans and flavor. Capone was the perfect "Chicago style dog" and don Juan had fresh cilantro and great tasting sauce. I can't wait to come for cocktails in the near future!
