Honestly I don't really know what we expected this place has really gone downhill in the last few years. We ordered an app, French toast and a extra side of meat, pretty easy order I thought. We were given our main meal before the app and didn't receive any syrup or the extra side of meat we ordered (she didn't ask us if we needed anything else just left immediately). We ate the eggs and meat that we had on our plates and waited for our server but she was rolling silverware with another server sitting right next to her on her phone texting on the floor. I have served before and that should never be seen by your customers. I had to get up and go find her and let her know that we were missing a bunch of things and to please help us. She was nice and gave us the app for free which wasn't needed but it was the last thing we ate. On our way out right at the till another server was mad she didn't get tipped and said that her job wasn't worth it anymore. That's probably the last time we will be back there.

What a joke.. Was really feeling breakfast. Was seated quickly as there was one other party that was finishing up. Sat down with the wife ordered coffee and water with a late night bite sampler. Waited over 20 minutes for the sampler. We had our menus out talking about which breakfast plates we wanted. There was no help. We were ignored to where I had to ask for a box and receipt. Over 45 minutes ignored. Waitress name was Vanessa and some old lady waitress as well

I don't know. Usually I rate things the best I can, but... I always get burger fries and pie. I get a burger, it's pretty good. I get fries, decent. But pie, I am for Heath crunch cheesecake. And they don't have it. Ok, that's acceptable. I try the lemon meringue pie, also gone. Now I'm annoyed. I am for the French silk, and they have it. FINALLY. But it's not like I like that pie anyway. Otherwise, a decent menu, and ok other food. Takes a while for the food to arrive though, and it costs a lot. But it is in a good location though, and it's close to home

Restaurant was filthy. We were seated in a booth and there was a hand sized patch of smeared syrup on the wall right next to one of the benches. Told wait staff and they moved us to the booth behind it and it wasn’t any better. The next booth had crayon all over the walls and the table was sticky. No one even cleaned up the stain in the first booth the entire time we were there. Also the waitress grabbed my plate while I was still eating and did not care that I wasn’t done. Do not recommend going here!

I haven't been in Red Wing Perkins forever. I stopped in just to buy a pie. The employee at the counter was very nice and helpful.

Stopped here when driving back to Minneapolis to catch our flight. Service was very slow even though not crowded. Food OK. Waited for check but finally went to cashier to pay. Stopped at the Perkins in Bemidji and it was wonderful. Total opposite of this location.

We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning, expecting to have a bit of a wait, but were seated right away! Our server was prompt and friendly. Once we placed our order, we had our food in approximately 10 minutes, which I was quite impressed by, given it was a Sunday morning. Everything tasted delicious and was exactly what was ordered. We also got bakery items to-go, which were amazing as well.

They are so overpriced, just like all the restaurants trying to survive. Had literally a handful of house potatoes with my underheated omelet. Cheese wasn't even melted. It is so hard for a mainstream restaurant to make real food. GO TO A SMALL MOM AND POP RESTAURANT YOU WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER. You may leave full and satisfied also. I used to love this place. 😀

Food is delicious, wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Alicia is just phenomenal! Only giving 3 stars because I overheard the GM talking badly about the staff. Gossiping in the workplace is very unprofessional and talking badly about your staff to other staff members is unacceptable. Especially in a place that customers can hear it.

This Perkins location was very nice. Dez was just the funniest and sweetest server, and the rest of the staff was friendly too. They have a ton of zero or sugar-free options, which is perfect.

There was no waitress for 20 minutes. Once the hostes came to help us, things went like clock work. It was not that busy. Food was good but not that hot. Don't know why no waitress. Until later.

The last few times I've been to Perkins I have waited over 20 minutes after being seated to get our drink order taken and then another 20+ minutes to get our food order taken. A lot of the waitresses seem like they don't want to be there or maybe they are just prejudiced. This has happened to me and my family multiple times.

Very friendly and professional waitstaff. Food delivered in a timely manner. Food was good; Good flavor and temperature was warm but not overly hot so was able to eat right away. Waiter checked on us frequently during our meal to make sure everything went well.

Very clean very quick service. Food was not all homemade but had good flavor and was divered hot with a smile!

Very filling and carefully prepared breakfast selections was my personal experience. I noticed they had some amazing choices in the dessert department. Pies for days.

Excellent service received here today from server Samantha. Our order was out in less than 5 minutes and all was great! I tried the Crispy Chicken Melt sandwich and it was tasty and very good. Although it did get busier the longer we were there, Samantha was able to check on us frequently and the whole experience was great.

Lynette did a great job taking care of our table. The food was quick and hot. Bakery looks great.

We got seated right away. The waitress was pleasant and she brought our drinks right away. And was promptly back to take our order. The food was good with a minimal wait time. Prices were good.

Food was delicious!! Portion size was perfect, not too much, not too little. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was how long it took the food to come out.

I went to Perkin today was not greeted just looked at and then felt like i was being rush to eat and get out of there.The waitress didn't ask if i want something else just brought me the bill I never asked for the bill we was still eating and talking. I will not come back to the one in red wing again i will drive to Hastings or the city to eat at Perkins

5 stars to the closing weeknight waitress, keeping Perkins in Business. 2 stars to the kitchen staff. Regardless, thankful for their work.

If I could give no stars I would I would never go back and tell everyone I know not to go there. The worst meal I have had. How could you miss up Breakfast. The Hasbrown we're soaking in grease and the bacon was over cooked it was more like Jerky . The assistant Manager was rude didn't take the time to care about how food was being cooked. Also the bathroom was gross.

I was ignored - no service after being seated. Waitress catered to the bigger tables and ignored me. Manager tried to satisfy things by offering a drink like that would compensate being ignored!😡

Perkins has always been my go to breakfast place...they always have the same delicious & consistent Omelets n hash browns. So when I'm craving breakfast...its perkins I crave...im sure it's because of consistency as to why I keep coming back...I know thr food is not from scratch but I know what to expect and I'm never disappointed. The servers are always pleasant, food & drinks always comes quick and the coffees always hot.

My experience with this location is dry much hit or miss. On one occasion, I went in to buy some muffins and the manager who helped me couldn't have been more personable and professional. On another occasion, and this is most often the case, I have to wait to be seated, even when they're not busy. Then, getting your food takes longer than expected and I suspect it's due to staffing shortages. The food is always good and the only drawback is the wait so plan accordingly.

We were traveling and stopped here for breakfast. The people were friendly ,and it was clean. The food was also very good an omlette just the way I like it. I would recommend this place .

Went to Perkins. We dressed casual, ya know, swim shorts and tank, we were going swimming directly after. They immediately ignored us. Had to wait 10 mins to be seated, they walked by us repeatedly, counter person ignored us. Then finally, they come to seat us, the waitress shouted at the one seating us, "put them somewhere in green". She placed us at a booth that had food all over the seat, I had to brush it off and she rolled her eyes at me. Then she ignored us for 20 minutes catering to rich prom dress kids with dates. 8 of them. Then finally she took our order. In a very gruff and rude manor. Then the kids left ten minutes later. None of them left a tip. Karma ladies. Don't judge a book by the cover. They favored the well dress, well off looking kids, and ignored us repeatedly. They were constantly hovering around that table offer them refills and asking what they needed. While we waited 30 mins to get our order taken. (There was 4 waitress' running about and three tables active, including us) The reason we know the whole table left no tip? Two waitress' went on a rant as they cleared the table, trash talking the fancy teenagers for not leaving them a tip. We found that very amusing. My inner cranky self wanted to leave them a $1 tip for the subpar service, but we left them a $9 tip. We usually tip better. But, they were just awful. When we were ready to pay, we had to wait another 20 minutes at the counter. All in all, we will not be revisit such a rude establishment. This happened on 05/07/22

Met my half-brother Mike and his lovely wife Ann there. They treated so I spared no expense when ordering. I almost got the Biachi French toast but I opted for the Ultimate omelette. Extremely tasty and filling.

Service was awesome. She was fast and super friendly. We received exactly what we ordered and our breakfast was delicious. We arrived during church rush, and the wait was only 10 minutes. The host was courteous and the stated wait time was correct. It has been awhile since we visited our Local Perkins, we will be back soon.
