The entire atmosphere is great. A wonderful place you can go, amazing that something exists like this that’s free. The LoFi music playing on the speakers adds to the calmness of it!! Love it!

This place is so cool. I love the idea of turning a artistic water structure into a play are for kids. There is a button that the kids can press to have water come out of the middle. Sometimes they have music playing. Lots of shaded places to sit and even picnic tables.

Perfect place to bring your kids. Lots of room for them to play safely. Water features to play in. Beautiful park and well maintained. Caribou coffee near by, as well as other restaurants. Lovely place to enjoy a walk among the native flowers. Must see.

This place is a jewel! I almost hesitate to write about it for fear that all will flock there. It is like a little oasis situated right in the heart of Burnsville in front of the Ames Center. I wanted to go to take the kids. Pictures reminded me of a crisp stream. The place did not disappoint. There are so many connecting fountains, picnic tables, benches, grassy areas perfect for a date or family picnic. It's a small area but large. Within it you feel the sense of community, connectedness. My kids and I made a friend as they placed with a child and I talked with his mother, both first timers in amazement...and both working together to keep an eye of the kids with all the connecting fountains. There is plenty of parking and also public restrooms.right nearby near the Medittarian Cruise cafe. Visit this park, you wont be disappointed.

During Burnsville's Fire Muster kickoff tonight (Sept. 4 th-7th, 2019) at Nicolette Commons Park the kids were playing in the fountains and "streams", people were dancing to Calypso music being played live outside of Ames music venue . . I even chatted with Mayor Elizabeth Kautz for a few minutes! It's a beautiful area to walk around with restaurants and eateries next door and across the street. Cub grocery store is within walking distance. It's an EXCELLENT place to spend (free) time with your family and plenty of free parking abounds!!!

This park is very nice and clean but the set up is just too dangerous for little kids. Not sure who thought putting a bunch of sharp rocks in a slippery area where kids play was a good idea.

I took my grand daughter here to play in the water spouts. She had a wonderful day. Children to play with. And on the particular day we went they had bands and food trucks. It was a very fun day. My grand daughter didn't want to leave.

What a delightful surprise! Drove from Bloomington to Arise Coffee, across the street, & noticed what looked like fountains. Had to check it out & so glad I did! Such a charming & unexpected treasure off Nicollet Ave by Mediterranean Cruise restaurant. There is a stream! Plenty of places along it to sit & put your feet in the water. None of the surfaces were slippery with algae. So I felt very safe walking in the stream. Splash pad area & plenty of shady, grassy areas! I'll be back asap. It was certainly an oasis & a bit of heaven in the middle of a well-known part of Burnsville! I love it!

This water play area is my grandsons' favorite place. There are areas appropriate for litte ones and bigger kids. There are tables, benches, and shady grass areas for adults to keep an eye on kids.

I love this new common area park. I was just down there with my Guitar for a couple hours, nothing but beautiful people, good times and the sounds of Youth playing in the water... ☆Namaste☆

Bring suits, towels or a change of clothes. The kids (4,5&10) could spend hours here & the "flicks on the bricks" are always a nice Community event

This park is everything in that it should be. Nice wide open splash pad, with a really unique natural theme. Room for kids to journey from bottom to top of the “river” that runs through the middle. There is enough here to be adventurous with, without posing serious dangers to the children. It’s a great place to cool off on a hot day!

I love this place, great park enjoy walking, jogging and meet people. And then visit The Kiri Thai massage not so far from here. After a long week at work to walk in the park and get some good massage , that was excellent.

We love this park in the heart of the city. We come here often in the summer and the kids enjoy splashing in the water features. We enjoy the concerts and just sitting and watching all the fun!

Always one of our go to spots in the summer time! We always meet amazing family’s and make even better friendships ! Not only that it doesn’t seem to matter how many people are there you never feel like your cramped in one area with a bunch of people .

Great park! Splash pad, fountain, lots of lush grass. Perfect for hanging out and letting the kids play. Sometimes they do events and the splash pad is closed, but the park is very nice and well maintained.
