The ratings are high so I had to try. Authentic feeling when you walk in. The chips were warm and salty, the salsa had great flavor and a little kick; perfect. I ordered the soft Authentic Chile Rellenos. They are offered soft or crispy. I was disappointed in my choice. The flavor was lacking. The breading and peppers were ok but expecting more flavor. The rice was moist and good along with the black beans. The waitress was too busy as she drops the food and then check and doesn’t slow down enough to ask for anything or grab her. I would like to try this place again and update the review.

OMG! I thought I was going to overdose on Jose O'Shea's before I left Denver! So pleasantly surprised by their atmosphere and delicious Mexican food. In town for a 4 day conference and I ate there three out of the 4 nights I was in town. Wonderful memories of their food and my waitress Rosa, who took very good care of me. If you like Mexican food, you'll love Jose O'Shea's!

Always a staple in the Lakewood area. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and a banana margarita on the rocks. So delicious!

Not a bad spot for a Mexican joint, Food was great 👍🏼 I’m still trying to find that authenticity not the typical basic servings. All in all good experience🙂

Love this place. It is still a tradition of Mexican food in Denver. If you are in for a nice taco bar treat come over and stay for a while. The margaritas are really a delight. Check this place out and don't forget the guacamole with your chips.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the lively atmosphere, the colorful décor, and the aroma of authentic flavors. We tried their hatch green chile queso dip and we loved it!! I had the Enchiladas Suizas and they are to die for.

We love going to Jose O’sheas, I’ve only ever gotten the cream cheese chicken enchiladas because they’re so good I can’t pass em up. The palisade peach margarita is a seasonal treat that keeps us coming back. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors and service is always fast and pleasant.

I've been coming here for many years and this has always been a neighborhood favorite of mine. Lots of memorable experiences here, including one 10+ years ago when 2 friends of mine got in a fight on the outside upstairs balcony (one put the other in a chokehold who then had a beer bottle smashed over his head) after they had a bit too much to drink. Good times, great food, strong drinks, and great and friendly staff that put up with us for so long.
